Noah asked nervously, “What happened? Where are you? I’ll pick you up.”

When Noah came, he saw Olivia sitting on the side of the road with bruises on her legs. Her eyes were red. Concerned, Noah asked, “Olivia, what happened?”

Olivia replied tearfully, “Noah, my right hand hurts badly. It’s probably fractured. Take me to the hospital please.”

Jasmine didn’t hurt Olivia’s hand, but to avoid drawing the design drafts, Olivia lied. Her family would have to find another way instead of relying on her. That way, they wouldn’t be disappointed.

At the hospital, the doctor, Nathan Garner pronounced, “Miss Miller has a comminuted fracture in her hand. She’ll probably need three months to heal.”

Noah was shocked. Three months?”

His phone rang. Noah picked it up. “Mum?”

Ella asked worriedly, Tm at the hospital entrance. Where are you guys?”

“Relax, Mum. I’ll come to you.” Noah turned to Olivia and said, “Wait for me. I’ll be back soon.”

Olivia nodded.

After Noah left, Nathan said, “Miss Miller, as you said, I’ve exaggerated the severity of your injury, so…” Nathan grinned and gestured for money.

Olivia handed a bank card to him. “Keep your mouth shut.”

Of course, Nathan promised.

When Noah returned with Ella, the medical staff was already applying a cast to Olivia. Ella had learned what happened from Noah. Gina caused Olivia to be injured. Ella was furious.

“Mom, I’m okay. It’s just that I might not be able to finish the drafts. I’m sorry.” As Olivia spoke, tears welled in her eyes.

Gina was in her apartment and working on her laptop. She had Michael put out bait last time but the other side was cautious and didn’t bite. She had hoped to follow it and track down who the person was eventually.

Her phone rang, interrupting her thoughts. It was from Jack. “Miss Miller, your withdrawal application has been approved. However, you need to come and sign it.”

Gina responded, “Sure.” After hanging up, Gina found it strange. There was no need for Jack to call her personally for this. However, she didn’t dwell on it and returned to Trowell University,

Upon entering Jack’s office, Gina saw Ella, Noah, and the injured Olivia. Olivia’s face was still swollen. Gina was momentarily surprised but looked away coldly, as though she didn’t recognize them. She walked to Jack’s desk, signed her name on the withdrawal form, and turned to leave.

Noah had expected this and stood in Gina’s path..

“Get out of my way,” Gina said expressionlessly.

Jack spoke up. “Miss Miller, your family has something to discuss with you. Why don’t you have a chat?”

I don’t have family,” Gina stated coldly.

Gina realized Jack had called her here because of the Miller family. The Miller family had donated a building to the university. Even though it was for Olivia, Jack felt that calling Gina wasn’t troublesome. So, he did it.
