Chapter 4 Betrayed
After Greyson went back to his dorm, his roommates were playing video games together.
“My treat!”
Greyson said.
“He is crazier!” Kent closed his laptop and looked at him in confusion.
Pearce got up at once. “Don’t get me infected!”
Alexis said, “Can I come with my girl?”
“Sure!”
Greyson knew that he had a girlfriend, who was a fresh student. She was cute and petite.
“All of you can come with your girl.”
Since he made money, he was generous.
Pearce touched his forehead. “You are so sick!”
“Kent, call the ambulance!”
They all had girlfriends except for Greyson.
Greyson was not as thick-skinned as Alexis. He wouldn’t dare to ask a girl out even if he liked a girl.
At 5 p.m., Alexis had dressed up and gone out.
Kent asked in confusion, “You are really treating us to a meal?”
Pearce said, “Not snacks, right?”
“I won’t call Chelsea over then.”
His girlfriend was Chelsea Smiley, who majored in trade.
Greyson smiled, “You will get money today!”
“Beep.”
Pearce got 194 dollars on Line.
“Damn!”
Pearce jumped up and stayed away from Greyson. “Kent, I think Greyson has a thing for me!
“Oh, I can’t stay here tonight!”
Kent stared at Greyson in confusion. “Where did you get the money?”
“I see. Bertha must have compensated you.”

“I sold his coin.”
Although he made money from Pearce’s coin, he didn’t want to take advantage of Pearce.
Hearing this, Pearce was relieved. “Is that coin so valuable?”
“Yeah. I sold it for good money.”
“Tonight, I will pay the bill!
“I haven’t done that in front of my girlfriend for a long time.”
Pearce said.
Greyson wouldn’t let him do it, of course. Anyway, he had money.
At 6:30 p.m., everyone went to the street behind their college.
There were all kinds of restaurants, clubs, and hotels.
Kent’s girlfriend came too. She majored in accounting. Her name was Stephanie Beacham.
She had short hair and a round face.
They sat at the table outside, and Greyson ordered dishes.
“Hey, why hasn’t Alexis come yet?”
Then Alexis showed up.
He came with three friends. They sat down.
“Why don’t you get a box? It’s not fancy here.”
Kent looked at him with annoyance. “Didn’t you invite your girlfriend?”
“She is not there. And I came across them.”
He said to his three friends, “Just order whatever you want. They are my good friends.”
Pearce couldn’t stand it. How could he take his own friends without permission?
If it weren’t for Chelsea, he would have left.
Greyson knew that Kent and Pearce were looking out for him. After all, Alexis loved to take advantage of others. “It’s OK. It’s OK.”
Since Kent and Pearce had their girlfriends with them, Greyson didn’t want to spoil the mood.
Just then, Chelsea asked, “Greyson, why didn’t you find a girlfriend?”
“I have a pretty roommate. Do you want me to set you up?”
Alexis ordered some dishes. “He didn’t even have money to hang out with us. How could he have money for dates?”
Pearce couldn’t help saying, “Like you spent a lot on that.”
Alexis said shamelessly, “Why should I spend money on that? Just for fun. Don’t be so serious.”
It annoyed Chelsea and Stephanie at once.
“You guys date just for fun?”
Kent snapped, “Can you shut up?”
“Don’t take it seriously. He is a jerk.”
They hurried to comfort their girlfriends.
Alexis almost ruined their relationships!
They opened the wine and waited for the food.
Then, Alexis saw Ronnie with a girl and greeted him.
“Ronnie, come here!”
Ronnie had a tall and pretty girl with him. She had charming long legs.
It was summer. She was wearing jean shorts and attracted everyone’s attention.
But when Ronnie stretched out to pull her, she avoided him instinctively.
Alexis pulled the chair flatteringly. “Sit down. I’ll order more dishes for you.
“You can eat whatever you want.”
He waved his hand. “Sir, get us some cigarettes.”
Ronnie saw Greyson. A trace of disdain flashed in his eyes.
His stock fell by 20%. So he was unhappy.
In fact, he didn’t have conflicts with Greyson. He just despised Greyson for his poor family.
After Ronnie sat down, Alexis was very enthusiastic as if he would pay the bill.
He ordered many dishes…
And he seemed very generous.
Chelsea and Stephanie were confused as they looked at Alexis.
Who would pay the bill tonight?
The waiter brought them two boxes of cigarettes. Then Alexis gave Ronnie a cigarette at once.
He even stuffed one box of cigarettes into Ronnie’s hand. “Take this.”
Greyson thought, “Damn! You take me as an idiot?”
Alexis was taking the chance to flatter Ronnie!
Greyson looked at him with annoyance. Alexis knew that he didn’t like Ronnie, but he still invited Ronnie.
What was his purpose?
Then, the girl beside Ronnie blinked and looked at Greyson curiously. “You are Greyson Byrne?”
“What?”
Greyson was confused. Chelsea said, “Yes, he is. What?”
“Nothing.”
The girl smiled. Ronnie was upset. “Eat! No questions!”
Greyson vaguely realized that Ronnie had said something to her. Otherwise, a stranger wouldn’t have said that.
But…
Greyson was surprised to find that he could see a green light above Ronnie’s head.
