Zero to Infinity
Chapter Eight

Madam sat in defeat. It had been days since she had heard from Gordon. She had little to no strength to barely lift her head. She leaned against the wall sitting on the floor in hopelessness.

“I found your little matriarch”. Gordon said with such deceit. She could barely make out his shadow in the distance. “I was so close to capturing her but don’t worry, while zero has her now, I will have her soon”.

“If you don’t like us so much, why don’t you just leave us alone? Go off and do your own thing.”

“Yes but you see, the way you want to control us, eventually you will try to control me. I see it’s best that I do it first”, Gordon said.

“This is why you were never provided a mate. You’re not fit to rule anything”.

“A MATE. YOU DON’T DETERMINE MY LIFE”. Gordon yelled, before speaking in a villainous tone. “Maybe not. But with your precious Jenny by my side, I might just rule you all.”

“You wouldn’t dare”

“I would. And I will. Your precious zero is headed back to earth to so-called rescue another one of your Earth Theorians. And I will be right there to get them.”

Madam thought in anguish how she could possibly get a message to zero or the other Theorian and let them know that Gordon was on the way. But it was hopeless. She could barely shift. Her time was up.

The matriarch was one of the original members of the Mount Pioneer. They had come from a planet far away where all individuals were born with every possible DNA granted. Soon after the age of 5, most Theorians were able to control their shifting ability and become the animal they wanted. sᴇaʀᴄh thᴇ FɪndNøvel.ɴet website on Gøøglᴇ to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

Because their species lived for so long, Theorians discovered the ability to travel across planets and galaxies. With each planet they passed, they would learn of the creatures and species on it. Giving them insight on how they lived, Theorians were able to master skills swiftly. Never ruling or taking over any planet, Theorians only strived for knowledge. From planet to planet, Theorians would send 10 of their children down to earth. They would be placed within homes of unsuspecting parents. In some cases, the dying child would be replaced with a Theorians. Eventually, that child will go on to pass away, with a Theorians in their place. They would assume the names, families, and the child would be none the wiser.

With such advanced technologies, Theorians were able to place their kingdoms within the clouds. The technology they had learned across the galaxies would allow their kingdoms to float above the world high enough that satellites and flying spaceships could not detect. They could cloak their existence so that no species below could detect them. And they never use this to their advantage to manipulate the species below. Theorians were focused on the knowledge across the galaxies. It was their goal. Got one day, many species across the galaxies would have the opportunity to meet and share their knowledge together. True peace among all galaxies, creatures, life forms.

Being one of the originals on Earth, the matriarch knew that her original role was to establish the children on Earth, and prepare for the next set of Theorians to travel off to other places. She had existed now for over 900 years and her body had limited shifting abilities. Oftentimes, when she would shift, her body would only maintain its position for a few seconds. Once you would return to her original form, she would ache and be weak for several hours. She was unable to care for herself in the independence at which she once had. The matriarch now depended on her councilman to seek out locations and families. Using the councilman to guide her and her decision making, the matriarch would pass on position to the next in line. The councilman would then be truth that matriarch. Keeping the order in line. All would work together to benefit one another.

Each planet had a different system. Because of which, on some planets they would age very slowly while on other planets they would age very quickly. In comparison to those on Earth, the age difference for Theorians was much faster than the earthlings. This was beneficial for Theorians. They could send down a child and bring them home earlier than later. Bringing them home earlier meant they would have the ability to share their knowledge farther across the generations. On planets where they brought home the child later, only one generation would get to see the new information that was discovered from that planet.

Like zero, Gordon was born on Mount pioneer. Some people considered being born on Mount pioneer a benefit while others felt it was unfair. Earth Theorians would often come back with so much information that they were almost like gods. Valued for their knowledge and skill made a lot of jealous Mount pioneer Theorians. Gordon was one of them.

Gordon believed everyone should have the ability to travel to Earth. Not just to reclaim children who are placed there, but an opportunity to explore and learn. He thought that the council’s decisions on which children would go was often biased. He had no real information for this, and no one ever seemed to know exactly who their theory and parents were. So it was hard to say whether it was due to family bloodline or not. But he did feel that he misses opportunity and going to Earth.

Gordon also believed that his people were selfish. He believed that no one species should have the ability to monopolize the galaxies. This is what he believed Theorians were up to. Because what other species for pure knowledge base would travel amongst all galaxies learning and obtaining all the information they could, just to have it. He always felt that there was a deeper meaning and that his species was up to something. For these reasons, Gordon thought it was most important that he eradicate Theorians. One Earth Theorian at a time.

Because they’re kind had been traveling and searching the galaxy for so long, their original home planet only consisted of the five wise elders. These five individuals would determine which direction a group of Theorians should head in. However, Gordon became suspicious of them. No one was ever allowed to speak with them. It was uncertain as to what they wanted and where they were taking the species. All Theorians knew was that they loved those and they learned from everyone. There has to be more than that. But Gordon knew better. He knew that no species would want to explore all planets unless there is a reason.
