Author's Note
First of all, I have to say thank you so much for reading Adapt. You have no idea how much it means to me that you completed this book. Scarlet and Boe have been living in my mind for many, many years now. Their world is where I escape reality. It is where my mind wonders in the dark. It is a huge relief to have their tale written, and more importantly, read.
Secondly, I would like you all to know that Adapt is only the first of four. Scarlet, Boe, Logan and Caron all have much more to accomplish.
The second part to the series is React.
Scarlet is forced to explore the new world she now must call home. She must learn to navigate Therian Society, as well as grasp her powers. The bed rock of her soul crumbles and she must rebuild herself anew. She must be stronger. She must be wiser. She must be braver. It is not just her loved ones at stake anymore.
I beg of my readers patience. I know the ending of Adapt has been longer in the making than I promised. My life has been something of a giant mess, and, like Scarlet, I am struggling to wrap my head around it. Please follow me and employ patience as I get React written and polished.
