The sound of hooves beating on the hard ground with the horses huffing and puffing from running a lot as they are chasing a deer in a forest. The sound of an arrow whistled through the air and hit the deer while the deer fell and landed on the ground with a loud thump. Some cheers came from the riders as three elves came into view with two dwarves on small ponies as they were huffing.

“You know you elves sure like to ride fast, our ponies almost did not catch up with you three…” said a dwarf that is a female and has ginger, long braided fuzzy hair while looking around with another dwarf. “Say, where is our friend?” the other dwarf said that is a female also with the same hair but straight.There was a shake in the bush and there came our Peter as he had a red baggy shirt with tight brown pants and a black cloak on. His hair was messy and has some scars here and their form of sword fighting training over the last two months.

“I see you finally got the deer.” Peter said with a chuckle.

“Yeah, we sure did, huh Kat?” an elf with light brown skin and brown hair with gray eyes said as he smirked.

“Zozo, Jojo, grab the deer. We are heading back home. It has been two months for Peter here and he needs to get back.” A brown skin with dark freckles, long past blond braided hair with ice-blue eyes as he rode next to Peter.

“Yeah, yeah, leave it to us dwarves. Come on, sister.” Zozo said while getting off her pony and walked over to the deer with her sister Jojo.Peter smiles at them as over the last two months he gains some new friends. There are Mike and Kate. Both of them are close friends and Mike became Peter’s tutor, while Kate is their healer and helper in the group. Then there are the twins, Zozo and Jojo, the two she dwarfs. Peter met them in a cave one stormy night and they became superb friends. Now for the last one, and his name is Sam. He is his best friend, and they started being friends when Sam saved Peter from a wild bear. Now you are wondering how everyone joins with Peter because he was a human and all. Well, they saw courage, strength, and honour in Peter. So here they are hunting a deer and now getting ready to head back to Queens Sofie’s kingdom. Once the deer is all cut up and the skin of the deer is skinned and put in a bag all ready for a sale.

“Alright, we are ready to head off.” Jojo said while getting on her little pony so is Zozo.

“Great, now let’s go!” Zozo said with a smile and headed off with Jojo behind her.

“Pfft dwarves.” Kate whispers while both Zozo and Jojo look over their shoulders and look at Kate with a glare.

“Elves!” said both Zozo and Jojo as they kept on heading forward while Sam and Peter followed them as Mike rode next to Kate.

“Maybe next time say it when they are a little further away from us,” Mike said with a smirk.Kate rolled her eyes and followed the others with Mike beside her. They all follow a path that leads to Sofie’s kingdom. When they reach the kingdom, they can see the white castle with a white hue around it. Peter smiles as he doesn’t want to see Raine and the others back at the castle, especially Raine. Once they made it to the doors of the kingdom, everything was the same thing when Peter left to go on his adventure. Some elves looked up from what they were doing then started to gospel before every elf stopped what they were doing and headed over to Peter and welcomed him back to the kingdom while Peter’s friends smiled and nodded their heads at the elves.

“Peter! Peter!” Peter looked over and saw two elves that he had not seen for a long time.

“Tron? Phillip?” Peter said as Tron and Phillip walked out of the crowd with a smile on their faces. “GUYS!” Peter’s voice sounded excited and got off his horse and hugged Phillip and Tron as they hugged him back.

“Welcome back, my friend,” Phillip said with a happy tone as they pulled away from the hug.

“Thank you, Phillip. It’s great to be back, honestly.” Peter said with a smile.

“Say on your adventure, have you come across the door?” Tron asked and Peter sighed while shaking his head no.

“No, but I kinda don’t want to find the door right now. I made so many friends and there are other places I would like to see,“said Peter and Tron nodded with a smile.

“Peter, we must get going so we can sell this meat and fur,” Sam said while Peter nodded.

“Yes, we will be on our way. Nice to see you two?” Peter said as he gets on his horse and steady the horse a little when he gets on the saddle. “Alright, let’s get going then.”All the elves made a pathway for Peter and his friends as they rode through the crowd of elves before they went separate ways. Zozo and Jojo went to sell the meat and skin while Kate and Mike head off somewhere, maybe shopping for some meds and healing potions and other things. For Peter and Sam, they head right to the castle where Raine was waiting for them at the bottom of the stairway. Peter smiles when he sees Raine as her hair has grown a little longer and her wings look bigger the last time he saw her.

“Well, well…” Raine smiles and walks forward while Peter and Sam get off their horses and Peter’s face to Raine. “How were your two-month adventures?”

“It was great, I made some friends on the way, but I kinda miss having you around.” Peter said in a shy tone while Sam smirked at this and Raine giggled.

“Me too, but I am not really an adventure kind of person.” Raine said, as Peter smiled.

“How about a quest?” Peter asked while Sam coughed and both Raine and Peter looked at him.

“Sorry for butting into this little flirty talk, but Peter, it looked like someone was waiting for you.” Sam said while looking up and Peter looked up at the stairway and saw Sofie standing at the top with her hands folded in front of her.

“Right, um, Queen Sofie has been waiting for your return. We can talk later.” Raine said while heading up the stairway with her wings dragged behind her.Peter and Sam follow while Raine goes faster, going up while Peter and Sam take their time. Sam moved closer to Peter and started whispering to him.

“So~” Sam said in a low voice that only Peter could hear.

“So what?” Peter asked, while looking at Sam.

“I see how you look at her. You have feelings for a fairy.” Sam said in a teasing tone while Peter’s face lit up and looked down at the ground. “Ha! I knew it! I mean, I never met her before, but by the history you two have, I can tell you like her. And by the looks of it, she might like you as well.”

“Really? You think she likes me back?” Peter asked, while Sam laughed softly and shook his head.

“Man, you have it bad,” Sam said with a smirk as they reached the top and Raine stood next to Sofie.

“Peter, welcome back.” Sofie said while looking at Peter, then looked over at Sam and smiled. “I see you made friends on your adventure. “

“Yes, I have, your majesty.” Peter said with a smile while Sam bowed down to Sofie as she nodded back to him.

“Come, Filly and I have something to talk about to you, Peter.” Sofie said while turning around and heading off to the inside of the castle.Peter and Sam look at each other before following Sofie with Raine behind them. When they walked into the castle, there was Filly eating food at the table and drinking wine. Filly spots Peter and smiles and stands on his chair with his arms wide.

“Peter! Welcome back!” Filly said with a mouth full of food, and Sofie rolled her eyes at him.

“Filly, please. You’re a king. Please act like one.” Sofie said as Filly grumbled and sat back down and kept on eating. “Dwarves.” she mumbled softly as the others giggled at this while Filly kept on stuffing his face with food and wine. “Now that we are all here, time to get down to business.”

“Yes…” Filly gulped down the last bite he took and looked at Peter with a smile. “It’s time for you to go to the sky, people!”

“Sky people?!” Sam and Raine said together at once, as Sofie sighed and shook her head.

“Filly, I told you not to mention that before I tell him why he needs to go there.” Sofie told Filly while Filly shrugged and took a bite out of the lizard meat.

“Sky people? Who are they?” Peter asked as he did not hear the sky people before.Sofie sighed and looked at Peter with a small smile and walked over to the table that there was a scroll there with birds on it. Picking it up, and walked over to Peter and with Raine magic, she made a stand with a flat platform. Sofie places the scroll on the single table and opens it as there were people like birds drawing on the scroll.

“The sky people are those that Draken is afraid of, so are we. They are powerful and intelligent. Their kingdom comes down once in a great year and they are coming back down from the sky soon. The leader or the queen is the most powerful of them all. She can tell what is for the future you or what is your destiny. One year ago she saw Draken’s future and so did Filly and I’s future and she told all of us that the one true king will return and stop this evil. Draken did not like that much and tried to fight the queen, but with a snap of her finger, his arms dislocated and he was in great pain. With that, he ran away from the small meeting and told Filly and I that we must help the one true king when they have come.” Sofie said as the pictures on the scroll changed while she was talking but did not show the queen. It was just showing a lot of birds.

“So you think I am the king?” Peter asked and Sofie looked at Peter.

“We don’t know. That’s why I have been waiting for you to return, because I have a quest for you.” Sofie told him, and Peter nodded. “Your quest is to go to the kingdom of the sky people and meet the queen there so she can tell if you are the king that we have been waiting for or not.”

“But what happens if Peter is not?” Raine asked, as Sofie sighed.

“They she will kill him. She is the true one that does not like humans because of that war that year.” Sofie said with a low voice while Filly was done eating and patted his round belly.

“But if you are the one true king, she will honor you and tell you what to do next.” Filly said, while licking his fingers a little.Peter felt both scared and wonder, scared that the queen would kill him and wonder if he was the one true king of Zarlakarla. Thinking about this as he knows it’s his decision, but it’s a quest after all and it’s for him.. Deciding as he took a deep breath in and let it out and look at Sofie with determination to do the quest.

“I will take this quest, Sofie.” Peter said while Raine sighed and pressed her lips together as she was hoping he would decline.

“Alright then. Well, get ready and go on your way. The kingdom of the sky people only lasted for a month, then they head back up in the sky and wait for another year for them to come back down.” Sofie told Peter as he nodded and headed out of the castle with Sam and Raine on his tail.

“You know she will put him in a cage at first.” Filly said as he walked over to Sofie and looked up at her while she watched Peter go.

“I know, but we know Peter is the one. Like I know he is the one. I can see it in him.” Sofie said and turned to face the dwarf and gave him a look as food covered his face with crumbs and stained wine. “My heavens Filly! You sure eat like a pig.”

“So? I am a dwarf. That’s just who I am, woman elf,” Filly said with a smirk, while Sofie rolled her eyes. She picked up the scroll, then walked off. “Elves.” Filly headed back to the table and finished the rest of the wine.
