Getting Ready

Peter, Sam, and Raine head off to the market where elves and dwarves are selling things. Some are selling food and travel stuff, others are selling clothes and other things. The only stores that Peter goes to are the supply and weapons supplies when he first goes on his first adventure. They went into the first place where Peter got his meat and cooking supplies. Walking in as it was very busy with other creatures like centaurs, fauns and other kinds of shifters. (Transform into anybody or any kind of creature) Peter heads up to the counter where the same dwarf that helped him when he went out on his first adventure.

“Hello Ben, do you have anything new?” Peter asked the white hair and beard dwarf.Ben turned around while his gray eyes looked at Peter with some glee and loyalty to them. With a wide smile, Ben opened his arms in a welcoming manner and chuckled.

“Well, is it Peter the great knight!” Ben called out with a boom voice that sounded mean but yet kind. “What can I help you with?”Peter looks around the place and sees some rope and hooks, then he spots some new kyoketsu-shoge that are white and gold rims around the edges. Throwing knives, smoke bombs, hunting traps and magic bottles. There is so much stuff that Peter likes to get, but he has to travel light for his horse.

“I will take three kyoketsu-shoge, some throwing knives, rope with the hooks, and some more magic bottles.” Said Peter as Ben went to get the things that Peter said.Ben puts the stuff on the counter then heads over to the shelf where the magic bottle is at. Ben took three of each of the bottles, the blue, green, and purple. Walking back to the counter, and set the bottle next to the other stuff.

“There we go, three kyoketsu-shoge, throwing knives, rope with hooks, and three of each of magic bottles.” Ben told Peter as Peter nodded and pulled out a pouch of money that he still had from the queen and Filly. “Anything else?”

“Nope, this will do. Thank you Ben, same price as last time?” Peter asked while Ben smiled and nodded.

“Yup, same price, two gold pieces.” Ben said as Peter handed two gold pieces to Ben. “Thank you for stopping by,” Ben said while putting the two gold pieces in his bag of coins.

“Yes, thank you Ben. See you later.” Peter took his stuff and put it in his magic bag, then left where Sam and Raine were out waiting for him.

“Got what you need in this store?” Sam asked while Peter smiled.

“Yup, got what I need now to head off to Flin’s store.” Said Peter while walking to the same store. (Where he got the bow and walking stick with the arrows.)They walked in the crowd of elves, dwarves, centors, fauns, and shifters. (The shifters look like humans but with short ears and sharp cat-like eyes and they have skinny tails. That’s their true form.) Passing them as they made it to the shop as it was the same size and had some new stuff that was out on display. Sam looks at the stuff on the display that is swords, shields, and daggers. Peter and Raine walked in and Raine looked around the place while Peter headed to the counter where Flin was at. Flin has blonde braided hair that has multiplied braids in his hair. Brown eyes that shone bright and knowledge. Flin was looking at his clipboard while looking up and down from his board and looking at the supplies. Peter knocked three times before placing his hands on the counter as Flin looked over and smiled. Putting down his clipboard on the counter and placing his hands on the counter in a business manner.

“Peter! Nice to see you again. What can I do for you?” Said Flin.

“Nice to see you again, Flin, and I am here for some more arrows and do you have anything new today? I glimpsed your display that you have some swords, shields, and daggers.” Peter told Flin as Flin thought a little till he smiled.

“Why yes, I have something new. Hold on, let me get it and help yourself with how many arrows you need,” Said Flin, while heading in the back.While Flin is in the back, Peter heads over to the arrows. Peter picked ten red arrows, five arrows, twenty purple arrows, fifteen yellow arrows, then thirty regular arrows. Once he got the arrows he needed, then headed back to the counter. Placing the arrows on the counter while Flin came back with a blue cloth over something as he was carrying in his arms. Peter moves the arrows out of the way as Flin places it on the counter with a loud thunk.

“This is from overseas from one of the small islands that is near the lands. This is a two blade sword. Two blades on each side and in the middle, in the gripper.” Said Flin as he pulled the blue cloth off and it showed the two blade sword.Peter looked at the sword as it kinda reminded him of one of the Star Wars lightsabers, but in a sword style. Picking up the sword as it was a little heavy, then his sword, but he can also feel the balance of the sword on each side. Backing away from the counter and holding the sword out in front of them, and twirling it around his hand, then around him and throwing it up in the air before catching it and swinging the sword as he holds the sword in a fighting stance with one hand and doing a pose. It amazed Flin how Peter can wield the sword with such ease. Peter did a nod and held the sword in both of his hands while looking at it.

“It has a nice balance on it and when I use it, I can feel the power of the swing in the sword.” Peter told Flin as he set it down on the counter.

“Peter, you are very handy with weapons.” Flin commented on him while Peter smiled.

“Thanks.” Said Peter with a smile.

“So the arrows and this two blade sword?” Flin asked as Peter was confused.

“Oh, I do not need the two blade sword.” Said Peter as Flin smiled a little.

“You sure? The others that tried to use this sword. Hurt themselves or don’t know how to use it. Unlike you, you can use it like you have used it before.” Flin said as Peter rubbed the back of his neck. Peter remembers when he was a kid, Peter and his friends used to have lightsabers battles and he always is the two side blades. Thinking about this, he took it as it might be useful in the future.

“Alright, I will take the two blade sword.” Said Peter while Flin smiled and moved down as he pulled out the holder for the two blade sword.

“Great, the sword is free. Include this holder and for the arrows at the same price. One gold coin.” Flin said as Peter smiled and gave Flin one gold coin and put the arrows in his magic bag, then strap the holder on his back before putting the sword in its holder.

“Thank you, Flin, and see you later.” Peter said while walking out of the store while Flin smiled and waved his hand.Peter meets up with Sam and Raine as they see the two blades on Peter’s back. Raine just smiled at Peter while Sam was wondering what that thing was on Peter’s back. Sam walked over to Peter and walked around him in a circle before stopping right in front of Peter and looking into his green eyes with his ice-blue eyes.

“What is that thing on your back, Peter? I thought you were only getting arrows?” Sam asked as Peter had a sheepish smile.

“Well, I asked Flin if he had anything new and he showed me this and I just got it.” Peter said as he left some parts out including the free part as he knows Sam can be overboard on things if you don’t pay for it.

“Yeah, you do that.” Peter said with a shy smile as he rubbed the back of his neck.

“Do you mind if I walk with you to the stables?” Raine asked while Peter smiled.

“Sure I don’t mind.” Said Peter.Peter and Raine walk to the stables where Peter’s horse is at. They walked in silence. No talking or a conversation. They just walked side by side as they could feel each other’s presence. Raine smiles and moves some of her hair out of her face while Peter places his hand behind his neck with a smile planted on his face. Some elves whisper to each other as they watch Peter and Raine walking together.

“So, how do you like Zarlakarla?” Raine asks as Peter moves his hand down and looks at her with a smile.

“I love it! It just felt like home. Like I belong here.” Peter said, as he looked up at the sky. The sun shone brightly, and the sky was bright blue with some clouds. Raine looks at Peter with a soft smile while Peter is looking up at the sky. Her heart skipped a beat and her face flared up, so she looked away and played with her brown hair. Peter looked over at her and smiled then looked ahead where his black horse stood there next to the other horses where Sam and the other two elves and dwarves are at. Walking up to his horse, Peter adjusts his sword on his waist and the two blade swords on his back. Peter looks at Raine as she is petting his horse. He can’t help but look at her beauty as she was smiling and whispering to the horse.

“We are ready, Peter, whenever you are ready.” Sam called out as he was on his horse and so was the others.

“Alright.” Peter said as he moved to get on his horse and with one jump, he was on the back of the horse.

“Be careful Peter, and also you all.” Raine said with a smile as the other smiled back.

“We will. Don’t worry about Peter. We got his back.” Zozo and Jojo said at the same time.

“I know you all do, and Peter.” Raine looks up at Peter as he looks down at her. “Have fun on your quest.”

“I will.” Peter said with a smile, then made the horse move forward.Peter and the others head off out of the kingdom while Raine watches them with hope and some worries for them on their quest.
