Elves Lands

Peter and the others rode on the prairie lands as Peter and Sam roadside by side, leading the group to their destination of the sky people. Jojo and Zozo were talking to each other as they rode in the back, and Mike and Kate rode in the middle. Peter was looking ahead wondering what the sky people were like? Are they like birds? Humans like dragons or similar to Raine, a fairy? Sam notices Peter is thinking about something so he taps Peter’s shoulder. Peter turns his head and looks at Sam.

“Something on your mind, Peter?” Sam asked Peter as Peter hummed and looked ahead.

“Do you know what the sky-people look like?” Peter asked, while Sam shook his head.

“No, I don’t know what the sky-people look like. They might look like Raine, but she is a fairy, not a sky folk. But the truth is this will be my first time meeting the sky people, and I think the others have never seen the sky people as well.” Sam told Peter as Peter slowly nodded.So they don’t know what to expect from the sky people. Maybe the sky people are watching them as they are heading to the sky people’s kingdom. Peter thought of this as they made it to a big forest that he knows what lurks in those forests.

“It looks like we made it to the elf lands.” Mike called out, while everyone looked at the tall oak trees that have vines wrapped around the trunks of the trees.This is where Peter meets Kate and Mike at when Sam took Peter in for treatment. Zozo and Jojo looked up at the tall trees and blinked twice. Then they look at each other, then back at the trees and smile.

“Wow!” Zozo cried out while Jojo’s smile grew wider.

“So these are the lands of the elves! This is exquisite!” Jojo called out while the three elves smiled at them.

“Well, this is where all elves come for meetings and other stuff but mostly for a home in the trees. Now come along, time is going ahead of us,” Mike said while the others nodded.Riding in the trees of the lands of elves, they were welcomed with a nice scent of ment mix with a fresh smell of grass (Kinda reminds Peter of a peppermint candy scent). When they got deeper in the trees, it was getting dark, but soon floating lights were floating above them like lanterns. When the group looked up, they saw elves jumping from branch to branch till they saw bridges connecting to the trees and there were houses up there. They made the houses out of the tree itself. Vines hang on the windows that have flowers on the vines and there are big flowers that are for the roof of the houses. The group pulled back the rains as elves came down from the trees and landed on the ground. When they land on the ground, the ground glows underneath their feet and when they walk. One elf has feathers around his neck and has a wooden crown. (He is the leader of the clan of elves of the lands.) He looks at Peter with his serious brown eyes till they turn into joy and smile.

“The great knight has returned to the lands of elves!” He yelled as all the elves cheered.

“Thank you, Meka, and we are going to stay here for a little while for our horse to get some rest.” Sam said with a smile while Meke smiled back.

“Yes, yes, please use our horse corral.” Meka told them as they nodded and got off their horses while the elves took their horses and headed off. “I see we have two newcomers, welcome to the lands of elves.”

“Thank you and just to say your place is so amazing!” Zozo said while Meka smiled at this.

“Why thank you! Make yourself at home! Now Peter, come with me. I need to speak with you.” Meka said, while Peter nodded.Meka leads Peter up the trees to his home that is bigger than the others, as he is the leader of the elves and he has the biggest family in the lands.

“Is there something you need, Meka?” Peter asked, while Meka sighed and look over his lands as every elf was having fun.

“Do you remember when you first came here you fought off a snake that is one of the demon lords of Draken’s pets?” Said Meka, as Peter nodded his head.

“Yes, I remember. Why is it back?” Asked Peter.

“I think it’s back from the dead. It looks the same, but it has two arms and long claws.” Meka told Peter, as this shocked Peter.

“Really? Do you know where it’s nest or place?” Peter asked, while Meka nodded his head and looked ahead to where the trees were dark.

“It’s in those dark parts of the lands.” Meka told Peter, while Peter looked at the dark trees.

“I see. I can go out today and destroy it once again.” Said Peter as Meka smiled.

“Alright, I will deal with it right now.” Peter leaves Meka’s place and down to where his friends are at. “Alright guys, we have to deal with something first.”

“Okay, what do we have to deal with?” Jojo asked while Peter looked at the two dwarves.

“A demon lord snake is back.” Peter said while the three elves face harden by the news.

“So it’s back, eh? Well, let’s get rid of that thing once and for all!” Kat said, while Mike and Sam nodded.

“Wait, what is a demon lord snake?” Zozo asked while Mike looked down at her.

“It’s a big snake that can eat you whole,” Mike told him and she shivered at the thought of being eaten by a big snake hole.

“Well, let’s get going.” Peter said as he led the way and Sam was on his tail, so was Kat and Mike, while Zozo and Jojo stayed there for a bit before following them.

When they walk into the dark trees, they can feel uneasy and unwelcome in them like something does not want them inside of the part of the woods. Peter pulled out his sword as it shone a hint of blue hue around it as they walked deeper in the woods till they saw a sleeping snake but it was a big snake almost taller than the trees itself. Mike and Kate go around while pulling out a staff from her bag while Mike pulls out his sword while Zozo and Jojo head to the rocks and stay there while getting their axes ready for anything. Sam and Peter moved forward to the head as its tongue moved out and back in its mouth till it opened its eyes. Everyone stayed still while the snake moved its head up and hands moved underneath it to have it stand up as it looked around.

“Who goes there?” The snake spoke with a hissing sound and no one said anything but watch the snake move its head around trying to see who is around it. “I can smell you…three elves and two dwarfs and a smell that I have not smelled before. So show yourself now and I might spare your lives.”

Peter was the first one to move and the snake head snapped in his direction as it looked at Peter with white eyes that said death in them. Peter looks to the right, trying not to look right in the eyes of the snake. Sam moved a bit with his sword in his hand while the other four were ready for anything that would happen.

“Who or I shall say what are you?” The snake asked Peter while Peter gripped his sword.

“My name is Peter Williams and I am a human.” Peter spoke loud and bold while the snake stuck out its mouth before going back in.

“I see…that you are the one I have to kill.” The snake said as Peter turned his head and looked at the snake’s cold white eyes.

“By whose order?” Peter asked.

The snake snicker and moved a bit before having its head high and tall while looking down at Peter.

“By my master King Draken.” The snake said.

“Ah ha! So you are one of his pets!” Mike yelled out as the snake snapped its mouth towards Mike while Mike jumped back.

“I may be one of his pets but I’m too old to do stuff for him! I don’t care what you will do to me, kill me all if you have to, but I am not moving this spot so he won’t find me!” The snake said and Peter could tell it was telling the truth as its eyes shone sadness and old.

Moving his hand away from the handle of the sword, and walked up to the snake while the snake looked down at Peter. Peter’s friends saw what he was doing and put their weapons away and walked out of their spots while Sam stood next to Peter. Peter holds out his hand up for the snake to smell. The snake moves its head and sticks out its tongue to smell his hand and with one good whiff of Peter’s hand; it smells loyalty, strong heart, and most of all, somewhat a king way smell from his hand. The snake bowed its head to Peter.

“I can smell you are strong and loyal with a bit of royalty. I will bow down to you, Peter Williams.” The snake said and Peter smiled at this.

“Then can we be friends and is there someway you can move somewhere else so the elves can have their forest back?” Peter said, and the snake hummed before shrinking down into a small snake and moved up on Peter’s leg to his shoulder.

“I will be your guide and a friend, Peter,” the snake said as Peter smiled at this.

“Do you have a name?” Sam asked while the snake shook its head no. “Then how about Zoey?”

“Zoey? Hmm, I do like that name. I will take it.” Zoey said and glowed a gold light around its body, then Zoey lifted in the air and transformed into a humanlike body.

Everyone looked at Zoey with wide eyes as she was indeed a human like but with scales for her skin that is white as snow. She opens her eyes and they are white like her normal snake self, but eyes like a human. She looked at everyone and the boys moved their heads to the side as she was naked in front of them. Kat took out some clothes and handed them to Zoey.

“Change into these.” Kit said as Zoey nodded her head and put on the clothes. Once she’s done changing into a green dress and slippers. “Okay boys, you can look now.”

Peter, Sam and Mike turn and look at Zoey as she looks down at the dress with a smile before looking up and looking at Peter. She said she was old, but to Peter’s eyes she looked like a teen but younger teen; she was his shoulder height and had long white hair that touched the ground and her eyes did show old in them but yet something new in them that Peter can see.

“Wow…Zoey you look like a human but with snake scales.” Sam said as he had red cheeks while Zoey smiled at him.

“I finally got a name from a nobleman, so I transform into a human and now I will protect you with my life, Peter Williams.” Zoey said with a bow and Peter smiled and patted her head softly.

“Welcome to the group, Zoey, and thank you, Zoey.” Peter said.

Once they are all acquainted with each other, they head back to the elves as they are standing there waiting for them to come back and once they are back with Zoey, they back away. Meka walked up to Peter while looking at Zoey before looking at Peter.

“Peter, who is this?” Meka asked, while Zoey walked up to him and bowed her head.

“I am sorry for my intrusion on your lands. I just want to get away from my master.” Zoey said while Meka looked at her before having a small smile.

“That is fine, but may I ask why you are trying to get away from Darken? I thought all his pets followed his order?” Meka asked.

“Some of us are not seeing him what he was before. He fears something and his lands are sprouting greens on his lands. So some of his pets are running away from him and trying to change their lives like I am doing. I am now a guide and a friend of Peter’s, including a protector of his safety.” Zoey said and Meka smile at this.

“Well then! Let’s celebrate!” Meka yelled, and all the elves cheered and they started the party right away with food, wine, and music.

The party lasted all night. Peter and his friends had fun that night with their new friend and team member, Zoey.
