To the Kingdom of the Sky People

In the morning, everyone was packing their stuff up and saddling up the horses. Zozo and Jojo got on their horses and grabbed the donkey before riding out a bit to find the road. Zoey was standing next to her horses as she was petting its neck while humming a toon. While Sam was on his horse and started ahead just in case something happened ahead of them, Sam could come back and tell the group. Peter was getting his horse ready as he was kinda still sleepy, rolling his shoulders as the pop moved a little by the movement before getting on his horse. Abby and Dean were standing next to each other whispering to each other and Peter sees this as they were taking a slow time getting their things ready.

“We are leaving now.” Peter called out while Abby and Dean turned and smiled at him then went back to their conversation.

“Peter.” Peter looked over at Zoey as she walked over to Peter with her horse behind her. “We better get going. The kingdom of sky-people is still travelling to get there.”

“I know, just Dean and Abby are not ready yet,” Said Peter and Zoey, looking over and seeing they are still slowly getting their things.

“I see…” Zoey said while watching them for a bit before getting on her horse and turning around to meet up with the twins. “I will be with the dwarves’ twins.”

“Okay.” Peter looked over at Zoey as she smiled and took off to join with the twins.

They were sitting on their horses looking at the sun as it was slowly rising in the sky, while painting the sky with orange, yellow and a hint of red coming from the sun. Abby walked up to Peter as Peter looked down at her as she had a small smile as Dean was still getting ready.

“We will catch up with you guys later. Dean has somewhere to be as I have to go with him as his aid.” Abby said, and this didn’t please Peter as he wants everyone to stick together.

“Why now? Can it wait? I would like to keep everyone together.” Peter said with annoyance in his voice and Abby can see he wants them to go with them, but Dean needs to meet up with someone.

“I’m sorry, Peter, but this has to come first. Like I said, we will join you all later.” Abby said as Peter huffed.

“Fine. Do whatever you need to do.” Peter said in a snappy way before turning his horse and rode off to join Zoey and the twins.

Abby walked over to Dean as he was looking at a crystal ball in his hands as it was showing space and planets in it. Dean put his crystal ball back in his bag and looked over at Abby as she had a frown and Dean sighed.

“I am taking our departure and did not please him,” Dean said, while Abby nodded.

“Yes, but whom do you have to see, master?” Abby asked while Dean huffed and put all of his stuff in his bag before getting on his horse.

“Someone that I have not seen for a long time, and I want you to keep your distance from the group but follow them.” Dean said while pulling out gloves and this confused Abby.

“Following them? I thought you said I need to come with you. I don’t understand what you are going at sir,” Abby said as Dean glared down at Abby.

“I lied about that. All I want you to do is to watch that group and Peter. Whatever happens, do not get involved in anything.” Dean snapped at her as Abby flattened her eyes as her tail went between her legs.

“Yes sir, sorry sir,” Abby said in a small voice as Dean sighed and reached down and patted her head.

“I’m sorry Abby, I just need to go for now. Don’t worry, I will come back. Just keep watch on the group and Peter.” Dean said in a soft voice as Abby nodded.

“Yes, sir.”

“Good girl, now off you go,” Dean said as he grabbed Abby’s horse’s reins before taking off with her horse.

Abby watched Dean for a bit before turning into a fox and started following the group. Back to Peter and the girls. They rode on the road as the girls were talking about what the kingdom may look like and that made Peter think about what the kingdom may look like as well. Sam came riding over to them before stopping next to Peter as they looked at each other.

“It’s all clear, but you will not believe what I have seen.” Sam said as his eyes were shining with excitement.

“What?” Peter asked as Sam smiled wide.

“You just have to see for yourselves.” Sam said as he noticed that Dean and Abby were not with the group. “Where are Dean and Abby?”

“Oh them? They said they will catch up later.” Peter said with a dull voice, and Sam nodded.

“I see, well come on you girls, you will love what I have seen.” Sam said with a smile and turned his horse around and took off.

Everyone looks at each other before taking off to follow Sam. After a while of riding in the long gassy fields, they caught up with Sam as he stayed there, looking ahead of him. They also stopped beside him and looked ahead as they saw the most beautiful and unique thing they ever saw. There it was, the castle that was floating up in the sky and it was huge. The castle was white with clouds around the top and little lands floated nearby, as it looked like little bridges attached to them. A waterfall by the castle as the water turns into mist and then turns into clouds. There were green vines hanging underneath the flouting lands and the castle. Everyone’s faces were awestruck as they just stared at the fortress that is in the sky.

“It’s….” Zozo was trying to find the words.

“Amazing!” Jojo said with happiness in her voice.

“But how can we get up there?” Zoey asked. Sam shrugged his shoulders.

“I can’t tell. Maybe there is a stairway to get up there. I don’t know really, I just follow the road and some tracks just to make sure we are not getting into another attack, but when I looked up, there was the castle of the sky-people.” Sam said while looking at the castle with a wide smile.

“This is just the most amazing thing I have ever seen in my whole life!” Peter said as his eyes were wide and had a wide smile.

“Well, let’s try to find a way up to the kingdom, then!” Zozo said.

“Yeah! Come on, we found the place now to find a way up there!” Jojo said.

“Alright, let’s head off then!” Peter called out before taking off, as Sam was behind him with the girls.

They rode up a small hill and down the hill until they were in the shadows of the kingdom. Peter looked up and saw the waterfall running down as it turned into mist then into clouds. He smiled at the magic of the waterfall till he looked ahead and saw something that was leading up to the sky. Peter turned his head to look behind him as his friends were on his tail, with a wave of his hand to follow him and they nodded. Looking ahead, and rode to where he saw the thing that led up to the sky. Once they got to where Peter saw and it was a long stairway that goes up to the kingdom’s doors, they could see that it was gold and it was glowing brightly. Everyone got off their horses and looked up at the stairway with awestruck looks on their faces. They stood there in silence.

“That is a lot,” Zozo said.

“Stairs!” Jojo cried out, as this did not please the twins as both of them hated stairs because of their short legs.

“Here there is a flat land in the middle. How about we go up there and camp there for the night, then in the morning we can finish going up to the kingdom?” Peter suggested while everyone agreed.

They let their horses be and head up the stairway as they all stood together so they could help one another. Zozo and Jojo were the slow ones as Peter, Sam and Zoey were way ahead of them. Peter notes they are missing two people. He turned around and saw two tired dwarves.

“Come on, Sam, let’s give them a lift.” Said Peter with a laugh as Sam sighed and followed Peter down to carry the twins.

The twins wasted no time to get on the two men on their backs. Peter took Zozo while Sam took Jojo. They head up to meet Zoey as she stands there waiting for them patiently before going up some more. They walked up for the longest time till the sky turned dark as the sun was going down for the night and the moon was showing as it lit up their way up the stairs. Once they made it to the floating land, everyone fell down on their knees painting hard (like they ran a marathon). The twins fall on their backs with tired eyes as Sam and Peter let them down when they are getting closer to their destination. Zoey took a deep breath out before pulling out her bag and took out a bottle of water and started drinking and the others did the same thing once they caught their breath.

“It’s already night?” Sam gasped as Peter nodded.

They ate and got their stuff out to sleep on. Once they settled one by one, they fall asleep while Sam was still up wondering why Dean and Abby were not with them. Also, he has a danger since coming from Dean like Dean is not who he seems to be, shaking off the feeling Sam falls asleep.
