All I Wish for Christmas
BONUS EPILOGUE - Introduction

In an attempt to improve my writing skills and have some creative fun, I joined the Character Creations Workshop hosted by wonderful FindNovel.net author, Kali Lynn @Steelerheart (www.FindNovel.net/stories/other/788794).

For the second of three prompts for the 2021 workshop, I decided to pick up where I left off in All I Wish for Christmas, continuing the story while taking Tilly through the major stresses of getting married, testing her limits and exploring the facets of her personality type.

THE WORKSHOP PROMPT: Look at the Enneagram Personality Chart and pick one personality type. Take the character through the ups and downs of the trait per the chart’s stipulations, showing how they react to stressors and achievements in no more than 4K words. (Part of the judging will be how much of the chart was used correctly with the chosen personality type.)

TILLY’S ENNEAGRAM PERSONALITY: #2 - The Helper/Nurturer

To get this prompt started, here's a summary of Tilly’s personality according to the Enneagram Chart to help guide you through her emotional journey.

Tilly falls nicely into the Enneagram Personality Type titled The Helper/Nurturer or a #2. When balanced, individuals who fit this personality are empathic, sincere, warmhearted, friendly, self-sacrificing, and generous. They can be sentimental, flattering, and people-pleasers, but are usually well-meaning and like to be close to others. Unfortunately, they can fall prey to doing things for others just so they can feel needed. They can also have problems with possessiveness and acknowledging their own needs.

According to the Enneagram Chart, Tilly fears being unwanted and unworthy of love. On the positive side, Tilly’s primary desire/goal is to be loved.

So, what happens when Tilly (or a Helper/Nurturer) comes across conflict? Initially, they turn to the #8 or Challenger personality type. In summary, Tilly will suddenly need to control her environment, but does allow herself to show some vulnerability.

When the odds make her step up her game even more and things are at their worst, Tilly takes on the traits of a #5 or Thinker. This means she becomes preoccupied with thoughts and imaginary constructs. She becomes detached, yet is high-strung, seeking isolation.

Fortunately, what goes up, must come down, and after Tilly hits the climax of crisis, things begin to improve. At the onset of improvement, Tilly’s personality shifts to that of the #4 or Individualist. She finds self-awareness, and her sensitive side appears, though she can still be reserved. She becomes emotionally honest and creative.

By the end of the story, when everything is righted, and things are as good as they can get, Tilly should find herself in the realm of a #1 or Reformer personality type. She becomes conscientious, summoning up a strong sense of right and wrong, while striving to improve things.

Enneagram Personality Charts are wonderful tools to ensure your characters are behaving realistic to their primary personality. I find that they're an interesting tool to gain some insight into yourself and those around you as well... I urge you to Google "Enneagram Personality Chart" to check them out!

Without further ado, the moment you've been waiting for has arrived! Here's YOUR personal invitation to the wedding of Tilly Tippy Toes and Trevor Snowman!

Please proceed and Enjoy!
