Alexa's POV

“Jade, please tell me you are not on board with Colter?" I linked my wolf.

“No, I am not. We will hunt your dad down and kill him."

I cut my link with her and let her continue running. She was running off our anger. When he told us that he wasn't going to b going after my dad, it forced me to tell him what happened when I found my first mate. I hated telling anyone about that. I didn't really want him to know either, but I knew that one day he would have to know. I don't want him to think we are weak because we aren't but used to be.

Jade ran for a long time until we came to our favorite spot. It was a little clearing of trees and you had a great view of the sk We liked to come here at night and watch the moon and stars. Jade walked around and finally just laid down.

“Jade, I know we are an Alpha but I didn't know that we were powerful enough to bring down another Alpha."

“Yes, I don't know if there is anyone that can out Alpha us."

“Why didn't you tell me sooner.”

“You weren't ready. You have to learn to control and soon.’

“I don't even know where to start with that."

“You need to talk with mate about that. He can show you how.”

“I think he is mad at me."

“No mate loves us. He wouldn't be mad.”

“Are you sure because I made him submit to me?”

“Trust me mate won't be mad.”

I cut my link with her and just watched the sky. I loved doing this. So did Jade. We could lay out here forever, but I had to fac the music and talk to him. We also needed to talk with Liam and Sloane.

“Jade, we need to go back”

“Five more minutes.”

She got up after five minutes and headed back to the pack house. I was going to have to shift and walk naked. I don't know i anyone would let Jade in. We tried not to walk through the pack house in wolf form. It took us a while to get back to the pac house and when we got to the tree line, we saw Colter walking over to us. Jade sat down and waited for him to get to us. It looked like he had clothes in his hands.

He made it over to us and dropped the clothes on the ground and started running his hands through our fur.

“Princess you're so soft and beautiful. Your dark fur and this moon spot are so unique.”

Jade was in heaven as he was petting her and telling her how beautiful she was. She ran her snout in his neck and inhaled his scent and pretty soon she was running her snout all over his face and then started licking him. He was laughing and thought it was great.

“I can't let Grey out right now. I need to talk with Alexa, and we have to meet with Liam and Sloane.”

She shook her head at him and gave me back control. I was standing there naked in front of him. He reached down and handed me my clothes and turned around giving me some privacy, not that I expected it from him, I mean it's not like we haven't slept together.

Once I was dressed, I walked up behind him and wrapped my arms around his waist.

“Iam sorry I lost my temper, and I can't promise that it will be the last time, but I do need your help to learn how to control my Alpha aurora.”

He turned so he was facing me, and he had a gentle smile on his face. He brought his hand up to my face and cupped my cheek. He leaned down to me and gave me a soft forgiving kiss.

“Princess, I didn't know that you were that powerful. I don't know anyone that can bring down another Alpha.”

“I didn't either. I was just so mad at that moment that I lost all control."

“I know and I can help you. First, we need to go see Liam and Sloane and see what they want to do.’

We walked back into the house holding hands. It was nice to see some people that I knew but right now wasn't the time to catch up. We had decisions to make regarding this pack. We headed up to their room and knocked on their door. I could hea someone come to the door and Liam opened it and motioned us to come in.

“Alpha Colter, Alexa come in” He said.

We went in and Sloane was sitting on the couch eating a popsicle.

“Sorry, it's one of the few things that I can eat and keep down right now."

“Did you guys have time to talk about our proposal?” I asked them.

“We did and if we chose to not take it what will happen to everyone in the pack?” Liam asked.

“My pack would absorb most of them, but they would have a choice to go elsewhere,” Colter answered him.

“Where else would they go?” Sloane asked.

“I have a few alliances that I could talk to and see if they could take any."

“OK, as long as you promise that everyone will have a pack then we would like to decline the offer to be the Alpha and Luna This pack is beyond repair at this point. It doesn't have anything, and Alpha Robert has bled everything dry."

“Sloane, you are coming with us, aren't you?” Alexa asked and held her breath waiting for her to answer.

“Duh, where else would we go? We're family."

Ijumped up and literally jumped in her lap. I threw my arms around her neck and kissed her cheek. I was so happy to have her back in my life and we can see each other every day. Poor Colter didn't know what he was in for.

“since we will be merging this pack with mine and Alexa is going to need a Beta would you consider coming on as her Beta?’ I was taken by surprise by what he just said. I knew I was an Alpha, but he was the Alpha of the pack from what he said it sounded like we would be doing this together and I would have just as much of a say as him.

“I'am confused, Alexa you're a female Alpha?”

“Yes, lam."

“It would be my honor to be your Beta then.’

“Now that everything is settled, we need to go down and talk with the council,” Colter said.

The four of us got up and headed downstairs but not before Sloane got another popsicle. We got downstairs to the conference room and Mac was still there talking with the councilmen still.

“Do you guys have a decision for us?" One of them asked.

“Yes, we do,” I said as we went and sat down. I didn’t get my own chair as Colter pulled me into his lap and wrapped his arm: around me.

“I will be merging Silver Moon with Full Moon. If someone doesn't want to merge, we will help them find a new pack” I told the councilmen.

“Alpha Colter you are willing to take on that many in your pack”

“It is our pack and yes we are.’

He was making my heart swoon. He is letting me make the calls. It feels great. Jade is purring in my head. She is head over heels in love with our mate.

“I need to hold a pack meeting and I would also like to speak with my brother and mother before any of this happens. My mother will also continue to be held in the dungeon until we know exactly what she and my father did with the pack money: “We are good with that as the council. The pack lands will become the territory of the Full Moon. We will stay around for a few days to make sure that nothing goes wrong during the transition.”

He got a big smile on his face and turned to Laim and said “welcome to the pack”

I was afraid he would take this badly but he seemed happy. I really wanted to talk with my brother next. I wanted to know what he wanted to do. We were never close because of our age gap.

“I need to get my brother and talk with him," I said standing up to leave.

“I will mind link him and have him meet you in your office,” Liam said.

“I don't have an office.”

“Sure you do, you're the Alpha now so the Alpha's office belongs to you now.”

Ijust nodded my head and left the conference room and Colter followed me out.

“Princess, do you want to do this alone or do you want me to come with you?”

“Please come with me. I don't really know my brother and I like it when your not with me.”

He grabbed my hand and I lead him to my office. When we got there I lifted my hand to knock on the door but stopped as I realized this was my office now and I don't have to knock, so I turned the handle and walked in and there was my brother with an Omega bent over the desk going to town on her.

“GET OUT!" I roared at them.

She jumped back and bared her neck in submission and so did my brother. She quickly pulled her skirt down and ran out of the room and my brother pulled his pants up.

“What the hell Lex?” He growled at me.

“That is Alpha Alexa to you.” Colter spat back at him. I could hear the anger in his voice.

“Ryan, sit down. We need to talk"

We walked over to the table and sat down and he wasn't happy with me. I wasn't going to beat around the bush with him. I also needed to talk about this Omega because he had a mate.

“First of all really an Omega, you have a mate, how could you do this to her?”

“We don't love each other and have an agreement about things."

“That sets a horrible example of what a leader should be.”

“I was never the Alpha, I may have had the title but dad controlled everything and then you came in and took any chance I had?’

“First of all I challenged you and you did nothing about it, and secondly you never really wanted it did you?”

“I wanted a chance to prove myself, but I couldn't fight you. I wouldn't fight you."

“Iam sorry about that and I am sorry for what I am going to say next, but we have decided to end Silver Lakes pack and merge with Full Moon. Anyone who doesn't want to come with us can go to another pack. We will help them find one.” “You're getting rid of our legacy, of your people for what this guy?”

“No, I am doing what is best for this place. This is no money and no hope right now and no one to lead them. So what is you choice?”

“I don't know right now, I have to talk with Aubree.”

“This doesn’t leave this room beside Aubree," I told him and put my Alpha command behind it.

His eyes widened with the Alpha command. He must have really thought I was weak. He got up and left my office.

“Princess, you did great. You didn't let your brother get to you and told him everything he needed to hear.”

“I just worry about how the rest of the pack will feel when I tell them. It's been their home for years for a lot of them.” “They will be ok. I need to call Julian and talk to him about taking some of the people that don't want to stay."

The mention of his name had me feeling guilty. He won't talk to me anymore and I miss the friendship that we had. I would have to give him more time and then try again.

“OK, I want to go through some paper and see what I can find and Colter we need to talk later”

He just nodded his head and pulled out his cell phone while I walked over to the desk.
