“Come on Princess, let's go to our room and so we can shower and go to bed" I told her leaning in and kissing her head.

“I am showering alone” She said.

she slid her hand down my arm and took my hand and we headed to our room. We were both quiet on the way there. I coule feel how exhausted she was through our bond.

“Princess, you go shower and I will wait out here,” I told her as we walked into our room.

She headed directly for the bathroom, and I went to our little kitchen we had and found some water, and started to drink it down.

“Grey, have you talked with either Jade or Storm?” I asked my wolf.

“No, they really not talking to me right now. I am trying but they told me to get my shit together and that you need to as well They are really mad about what we did." He linked back.

“I know and I don't blame them we screwed up, but we will make this up to her. We need to do something big”

“Ask her to marry you."

“Don't you think it's a little soon? Plus, we have so much going on right now”

“Just ask her, not that we have to marry her right now, just let her know that you are in this forever”

I was deep in conversation and I didn't hear her get out of the shower. She had come up behind me and wrapped her arms around my waist and laid her head against my back. I slowly turned so we were facing each other but she kept her head on my chest and her arms wrapped around me.

“Princess, I love you so much. I can't imagine a life without you in it. I am truly sorry about everything that happened” I told her.

“I know you are, but I need you to trust me. I am a strong capable woman, and I don't need you by my side, but I want you by my side”

“I know you are and that is one thing of the million things I love about you, and I do trust you. I trust you one hundred percent, but I am an Alpha, and we get jealous easily, were possessive and you belong to us.”

“Well, Mr. Alpha you forget that I am also an Alpha and I know that. I also want to apologize to you. I was also to blame. You asked me not to do it and I still did it. I should have respected your wishes and not spoken to him alone. Can we both just move on from itz" She asked.

“Yes, Princess, nothing would make me happier”

“Great now Mr. Alpha go shower you stink!”

She stepped back and that's when I realized she had put on one of my T-shirts. It was huge on her, but she looked so damn sexy iin it. She started walking away from me and I couldn't help but look at her legs as she did. They were long and toned and I wanted nothing more than to follow her and show her how much I liked what I saw but she was right, I did stink and needed a shower.

I got into the bathroom and turned the water on and stripped out of the shorts I was wearing and stepped under the hot water. The hot water felt amazing, but I needed to make this quick. I wanted to go just hold my mate and have her sleep in our arms. I washed as fast as I could and got out and dried off. I wrapped the towel around my waist and went out to get some underwear on. Once I found them in my bag, I slipped them on and went over to the bed, and saw Alexa asleep already. I crawled into bed with her, and she instantly rolled over to me and laid her head on my chest, and threw a leg and arm over me. It didn't take long, and sleep consumed me as well.

I woke up to Alexa running her hands up and down my abs and chest.

“Colt, we need to get up and get breakfast. I need to meet Emma soon” She said.

“Well, if you keep doing that, we won't be leaving this room anytime soon."

she pulled her hand away like something burned her and jumped out of bed and went into the bathroom. I got out of bed and went and got dressed and by the time I was dressed Alexa came out of the bathroom. I went in and brushed my teeth and walked out and found Alexa ready and waiting for me.

“Princess, are you ready?” I asked her.

“Yes, I am starving!"

“Well let's get some food in you then. We have another busy day”

I grabbed her hand, and we walked out to the dining room. We got in line and fixed our plates and went and sat down at Julian's table, but he wasn't there yet. We sat down and started eating and about halfway through Luca showed up and didn’ look like he had gotten any sleep.

“Sorry to interrupt but Alpha Alexa, Alpha Colter can you please come with me? Alpha Julian needs to speak with you” Luca said.

“Yes, where is he?” Alexa asked.

“His office,” Luca told us.

We all got up and followed him to his office. Luca didn't knock but just walked in and Julian didn't look so good either. “Julian, what's up man?" I asked him.

“I am not going to be able to help for a while” He said.

“Why, what happened?” Alexa asked.

“Well, I marked Nicki last night and I took her as my chosen mate."

“Oh Goddess, that is so exciting. I can't believe it. I am so happy for you!" Velled Alexa.

“Wait, I am not done. When I marked her she went unconscious and has yet to wake up. I have had doctors looking at her all morning, but nobody knows anything” Julian said.

“I am so sorry man. What can we do to help?” I asked him.

“Luca will keep the pack up and running while I try to figure out what is going on with Nicki. I just wanted to explain why I an not there to help. If you guys need anything, please let Luca know and I will stop in and check in with you guys." Julian said. He turned to leave and that's when Alexa yelled at him to stop.

“Stop, wait. Jade wants to see her.” Alexa said.

“Why does she want to see her?” Julian asked.

“She says she might be able to help or get some answers”

“OK I guess so," Julian said.

We walked out of his office all feeling very confused.

“Princess, what is going on?" I linked her.

“I don't know for sure. Jade is going crazy saying that she needs to see her. She won't tell me.” Alexa linked back to me.

We got to his room, and he went in and walked over to his bed where Nicki was lying, and it looked like she was sleeping. Alexa walked over and grabbed her hand and closed her eyes. When she opened them, you could see that jade had pushed forward. Her eyes were a lighter blue and glazed over. We both just sat there watching her. After a few minutes, she dropped her hand and tured to us.

“Princess, what is it? What is wrong?” I asked her as I walked over to her.

“I saw it all I saw everything Robert did to her. He broke her and all but killed her wolf in the process. I knew it was bad but what he did is worse than we could have imagined.” She said.

“What did you do?” Julian asked.

“Apparently Jade can go through people's minds. I didn't know it. She wanted to check on her. She will be ok, but Robert placed a spell on her so that she wouldn't be able to recognize her true mate and that is what about killed her wolf” Alexa explained.

“So, what is going on? Why is she sleeping?” Julian asked.

“Because you broke the spell, julian,” Alexa said.

“Wait, are you saying that Julian is her mate?” I asked Alexa.

“Yes, he is. They are second-chance mates. I was able to reach her wolf. She is weak but better than before Julian broke the spell” Alexa said with a big smile on her face.

“Princess, I think we need to leave these two alone,” I told her as I grabbed her hand and led her out of the room.

We walked to the conference room we had set up and found that everyone was there working already.

“Sorry, we're late everyone. Julian will not be joining us today. We need to set up a plan for tomorrow as we have to leave tonight. Does anyone have any thoughts?” Alexa said.

“I think we should surround the area and just watch and see if we can figure out who is taking these people and then attack them after they get back to their pack.” One of the warriors said.

“I don't think attacking an entire pack is a smart idea, but I do like the idea of watching," I said.

We continued to discuss the options we had for tomorrow.

“Colt, I need to go check on Emma and see if she has come up with anything else on the computers,” Alexa said and then left the room.

We continued to run different ideas around, but couldn't all agree on anything. It was now lunchtime and we all agreed to gc and eat and come back so we could get a concrete plan in place. I walked over to the room that Alexa and Emma were in anc walked in. They were both focused on the computer and didn't hear me come into the room.

“Ladies, have you found anything new?” I asked them.

“Yes, actually we have. They have posted a new drop-off for Sunday. It seems to be every other day” Alexa said.

“Why don't you ladies stop for lunch and then Alexa, we need you to come back to the conference room so we can come up with a solid plan for tomorrow,” I told them.

They both got up and we walked down to the dining hall and fixed our plates. Lunch today was sandwiches and different salads and chips. Easy and quick and also good. We went over to the table with all of the people from the Academy and sat down to join them. There was light chit-chat throughout lunch and once everyone was done, we cleaned up our mess and went back to the conference room,

We were all just sitting down, and I was about to explain what plans we had come up with to Alexa when Julian walked in. “How is she?” Alexa asked him.

“No change but I wanted to know what you guys came up with," Julian said.

“We were just getting to that actually," I told him.

I explained the different plans we had come up with and Alexa didn't really like any of them. Most of them included some type of attack because we wanted to stop them right now, but I think we need to play this a little smarter. I had a thought but wanted to see what Alexa had planned first.

“I think we need to watch this drop-off and see who is doing the drop-off and who is picking up. I think we need to split into two different groups and each group follows someone and then meet up and form a plan after that” Alexa said.

“I agree.” Said, Julian.

“I agree as well, we don't have the manpower right now to attack a pack and besides we don't know that the whole pack is involved’ I said.

“I also think we need to get the council involved when approaching a pack. We have also found that they have another drop off on Sunday. If tomorrow goes well, I want to do the same on Sunday.” Alexa said.

“I can send some warriors with you guys tomorrow” Julian said.

“No, I don't want to leave your pack open to attacks,” I told Julian
