Chapter 60

Alexa's POV We were back at Julian's pack and had a plan in place to get into the warehouse and take over. We don't know who is there, but I am hopeful that Robert will be. We are so ready to kill him and start our life. Leah was a great help, and we were able t get a good feel for the layout, but she didn't know what happened in some of the rooms. “Princess, are you ready for dinner?” Colt asked me walking into the bathroom, “Yes. I was just running a brush through my hair” I told him. “OK, good because it's already started Julian's pack has tried to make tonight special since we don't know what tomorrow will bring” “Well, we better go then” We headed downstairs to where they had set up a huge BBQ for everyone and had a bonfire going as well. When we got down there it was in full swing. All of Julian's pack was here along with everyone we brought with us and the people from the academy. Alpha Jake was also here to help and brought warriors and the council was also here, but they wouldn't be going with us tomorrow but wanted to be here just in case. “Let's fix our plates and find a place to sit down,” Colt said. Ijust nodded my head at him and followed him to the buffet they had set up. I didn't feel like eating. I was too nervous for tomorrow. I did a few things on my plate but not much. We found a seat by julian and sat down. “Princess, do you want a drink?” Colt asked me. “Yes please.” He got up and went to get a drink while I pushed the food around. The more I looked at it the less I wanted to eat. Colt came back and placed a cup in front of me. I picked it up and the smell of the beer he gave made my stomach roll. I placed the cu down and took a few deep breaths trying to get my stomach to calm down, but it wasn't working. I got up and ran to the bathroom and emptied the contents of my stomach and when I opened the stall door Colt was standing there waiting for me. I walked to the sink and rinsed my mouth out and washed my face. “Princess, are you ok?" “Yes, I think I am nervous about tomorrow” I told him. “OK let's go back to the BBQ," Colt said. “Actually, I think I am going to lay down for a bit. You go back and eat, and I will see you when you come up.” I told him. “I will come up with you." He told me. “I'am ok, I am just nervous. Please go eat and I will see you when you come up.” “OK, I love you and tomorrow will go just fine” He told me and kissed my cheek. I walked up to our room still not feeling amazing and I really just needed to lay down for a bit. I made it up to our room and laid down on the bed, but it didn't last long as I was ready to throw up again. I ran to the bathroom and kept puking until I had nothing left in me. Once I felt like I wasn't going to puke anymore I cleaned up and crawled into bed and closed my eyes Sleep came easy. “Princess wake up, you're having a nightmare” Colt was saying and shaking me. I finally woke up enough and looked at him. I could feel my face was wet from crying. I had the same dream I always did about Robert. “Ym sorry. Every time I have to face him or anything to do with him I always have the same stupid nightmare.” “Princess it's ok and you know you can talk about it with me” “I don't like talking about it” He just pulled me into his arms and held me. I noticed he was still dressed. “Are you just getting in from the BBQ?” I asked him. “You've only been gone for an hour. I just wanted to check on you. Do you want something to eat?” He asked me. “No, I just want to lay here.” “There's something I want to ask you,” Colt said as he sat us up. “Of course, you can ask me anything” “Will you officially be my Luna? I want you to have a ceremony and everything you've ever wanted.” I knew I was supposed to be his Luna and it makes me so happy that he really wants me, but part of me says no because I am not a Luna, I am an Alpha. There was a time not that long ago that I would have been honored and I am but I have learned so much about myself and who I am capable of being and I was born to be an Alpha and this was something that him and I would have to work out. “Colt, I love you so much but I don't know that I am cut out to be a Luna. I am a female Alpha and it's in my blood to be an Alpha? I told him. I was trying to be truthful and not hurt him but I could tell instantly that it did. He got out of bed and headed for the door. “Colt wait, you're taking this wrong. Will you please just listen to me?” “Listen to what, that you don't me or my pack. That you're just using us to kill Robert” He screamed at me and stormed out the door. I just laid down and started crying. He took that wrong because I did want him and his pack so much. “Colt, please come back and talk to me. That's not how I meant it” I tried to mind link him but he put up a block. I got up and threw on some leggings and headed back downstairs to find him but he was no where down there. I spotted Julian and walked over to him. “Did you see where Colter went?" I asked him. “No, I haven't seen him for a while” “If you see him will you tell him I am looking for him." I walked away from the BBQ and headed to the tree line looking for him. “Girls, lets shift and one of you can go look for him. I can smell him out here.” I linked both my wolves. “No can do! Have you not figured it out yet?” Jade linked me. “No, why can't we shift?” I asked really confused. “For someone so smart sometimes you can be dumb. You're pregnant dummy. Why do you think you were puking earlier. It's very early but you are growing a pup” Storm linked me back. “What no I am birth control” “Well apparently it didn't work” Jade linked back. I continued to walk deeper into the forest looking for Colt. I could smell him, he had been this way but he had to be so far ahead of me since he was in wolf form. I had to tell him. I didn't know how he is going to react since we haven't talk about this. I mean it was something I wanted but in the future. I had walked further and further into the forest following his scent but had yet to find him. So I thought I better turn around before I get lost. I was walking back to the pack house when someone literally dropped down from a tree in front of me, scaring the crap out of me. I jumped back and into a fighting stance. “Who are you?" I asked them. “You must be the almight female Alpha” This man said. As soon as he spoke it dawned on me what he was. A disgusting blood sucker. “What do you want?" I said trying to sound confident. “Well you. Did you know their is a price on your head?” He said. “Let me guess, Robert is paying for my return” “Well at least you are semi smart. He wants you back dead or alive and you smell so good I don't know if I will be able to resist you but the money will be nice. Maybe I will have a snack and then return you to him.” “Colt, can you hear me. Please take your block down. There is a vampire in the woods, it's just him and I and I don't know if I can over power him!" I mind linked Colter but I was met with a block still. “Julian, I am in the woods with a vampire. I don’t know if I can over power him and I can't shift. Please hurry up.” I mind linked him. I was never so thankful than I am now to somehow have to power to mind link anyone. “Where are you?" Julian linked back “I don't know but hurry” I sent back. “Stop your stupid mind linking. They will never get here in time" He said as he pounced at me. I was able to side step him but he was fast. He jumped up and I couldn't tell where he went so I started running towards the pack house but he caught me quickly and jumped on my back. “You smell so sweet. I must have a taste before we leave.” Before I could say anything he sank his teeth into my neck. I tried to push him off but he was so strong and I was feeling my stregnth go down. It was getting harder and harder to fight him. I was starting to see black spots when he finally pulled back “Perfect, now your weak enough that you won't fight me. Lets go before your dumb mutts show up” He placed his arms under me picking me and took off at a speed I didn't know was possible. Between the blood loss and the speed he was moving I was getting dizzy and wanting to throw up. I had to close my eyes and concentrate on not throwing up. I couldn't move my body it was so weak. “Girls protect our pup, don't worry about me. Just protect the pup please.” I linked both my wolves. “We will protect you both” Jade linked back. I let the blackness take over as I kept feeling worse and worse. I woke up when this blood sucker dumped me on the floor and walked out of the room. “Girls where are we?” I linked both my wolves but got no reply from either of them. I thought it was weird because he didn’t inject us with anything to weaken them. The door to my room was thrown open and in walked Robert. The man disgusted me. I couldn't wait to kill him and I guess it was going to be sooner rather than later. “Well if it isn't the bitch off spring that my stupid wife had” He spat at me. “What are you doing? Why are you doing all of this?" I asked him. “Because I want to rule all of the super natural word and I am getting close with the army I have created. I have created hybrids and am working on a tribrid. They will be the perfect combination.” “Are you nuts? Why would you do that?" “No dear I just want to rule the world and nothing will stop me” He said as he smiled at me sadistically. I knew this man was capable of doing anything and he will not hesitate to kill me. “What do you want from me?” I asked him. “You cost me a lot of money and my pack. Now you're going to pay for that” As soon as he said that he lunged at me and landed on top of me as he wrapped his hands around my throat. I didn't have the strength to fight him off thanks to that blood sucker. Robert leaned down and sniffed me. “Oh god, your let him get you pregnant?” He asked me as he let go of my throat enough so I could speak. “Yes, by my mate” He let go of my throat completely and grabbed my hair and started to drag me out of the room we were in. I was trying to ge my feet under me but he was moving too fast. “Where are you taking me?” “Shut up bitch, you are in no place to question me. If you would have just shown up that day like you were supposed to ther you wouldn't be in this predicament” He pulled me until we where in another room that had a bed in it but nothing else. He threw me in there and left and slammed the door. I tried to reach out to my wolves but they weren't there. I walked over to the bed and sat down on it trying to figure out what I was going to do, when the door flew open again but this time two large men that walked in and came straight at me. I jumped up and waited for one to get close enough and I would attack. As soon as the first one was close enough I jumped up and hit him directly in the face but it didn't seem to bother him at all but I am pretty sure that my hand is broken. “You're a fiesty one aren't you” He said to me as he laughed. The other one came at me but I didn't want to break my other hand on his face either so I just backed up into the corer with nothing else to do. I stood there cradling my hand waiting to see what they were going to do. “You will be fun to teach a lesson to. How long will it take to break her Jack?” The first man asked the other man. “Not long." He replied. They both grabbed an arm and it was all I could do not to scream about my broken hand. The dragged me out and down a hall into another room. Once in the room they tied my hands above my head and both of them stood back and looked at me “Were supposed to teach you a lesson about following orders. Most people around here that don't follow orders are just killed so I don't know what you've done to Alpha Robert but he said don't kill you yet” As soon as he said that the other guy had a whip and started to use it on my back. I wasn't going to scream though. I don't know how long he used that because eventually I started seeing black spots and I welcomed the darkness that took over. It didn't last long though because they threw water on my face. “You know you guys are as good as dead.” I yelled at them. They didn't reply but on came over and punched me in the face several times. “That should shut her up” one of them said. “You guys are disgusting you know that. You had to tie me up to beat me. Didn't even give me a fair chance.” “Life's not fair and trust me Robert told us that your carring a pup and he wants it gone. He wants you to lose everything like you caused him what he wanted.” Crap they know about the pregnancy. I had to do something but couldn't. They had my hands tied with silver and my wolves were gone. I was basically human. A punch to the stomach brought me out of my thoughts. I couldn't stop them but I wouldn't scream or cry. I would let give them that satisfaction. I spit some blood on the floor and they both looked up to me with their eyes glowing red. “She smells pretty sweet. Maybe we should have a taste? One of them said.
