Colter's POV When Storm stepped back from our hug she had released control back to Alexa. Grey quickly gave me control and I pulled her back into me and just stood there holding her. I hated threatening her with drugs to release control but she refused and she needed to take a break. “Come on Princess let's go get you cleaned up" told her. I pulled her into the bathroom with me. I got the shower going and took off her clothes and then mine. She seemed to be ou of it still. I got her under the water and started washing the blood off of her. “How long did Storm have control?” She finally asked “Just today. She is a little dangerous when she is mad." I told her. “Iam sorry. She was mad and hurt and she just took control and I couldn't get it back no matter how hard I tried. What did she do?” “Well, she tortured two guys and killed one of them and she also wasn't very nice to Sloane." “What did she do to Sloane?” “she yelled at her when she came into the office to tell you what the 5" of her baby was." She just wrapped her arms around me and hugged me. It felt great to be able to hold her. We stood there for a few minutes letting the water run over us. “We have some information for you and Storm.” Mac just linked me “Meet in my office in twenty minutes" I linked him back “Mac got some information and is going to be meeting in our office in twenty minutes.” I let Alexa know. “OK, I need to go apologize to Sloane and then I will meet you there." “How do you feel? It's been a rough few days." I asked her still concerned. “Iam ok, I am tired, but I will be just fine.” We got out of the shower and headed towards the closet and got dressed again. “Come on Princess, I will walk you to Sloane's room," I told her as I grabbed her hand. We got to their room and Alexa knocked on the door and we waited. I could feel that she was nervous. I don't know if these two had ever had an argument. Sloane opened the door and looked at both of us and you could see the tears forming in he: eyes. Alexa went to say something but Sloane slammed the door in our faces. “Sloane please talk to me. It wasn't me it was Storm. I need to explain.” She yelled through the door. she knocked again but Sloane wouldn't answer. I could hear Sloane on the other side crying and Alexa was also crying “Come on Princess, you can try again later. She will forgive you. She is your sister" I told her as I grabbed her hand. We walked down to my office and walked in. I walked over to my chair and pulled Alexa into my lap and just held her while she cried. I could tell that she was linking her wolves. Probably yelling at them. There was a knock on my door, and I yelled come in. Mac and Liam came walking in. They both had blood on them. “Storm are you ok?" Mac asked when he saw Alexa sitting on my lap. “I'm back and no I am not. Storm did something to someone I love very much, and I don't know if she will ever forgive me" Alexa sobbed out. “Yes, you did," Liam said back. “Iam so sorry Liam; I didn't have control. I didn't even know she said any of that until Colter told me. Please can you get her here? I need to talk to her” “No, she is so hurt and emotional right now and I won't have you making it worse. You have always been kind, but you have turned into a heartless monster” Liam spat at her. I'stood up and put Alexa down and went over to Liam seething in anger. No one talks to my mate, their Luna that way I got up in his face and grabbed him around the neck and pushed him against the wall. “No one speaks to her that way. She is anything but." I didn't get to finish because Alexa came over. “Stop this. He is right. Let him go right now!” She yelled at me. I dropped him and he rubbed his neck where my hands had been. “Let's get this meeting started. We have vital information.” Mac said. I went back around and sat in my chair and brought Alexa with me. She happily took a seat in my lap. “So, after you guys left, we brought in the next person, and they were pretty willing to talk. We didn't have to inflict any +e on them, but they could provide us with one other location.” “Where is it?" Alexa asked. “It's about forty miles from here. It's a smaller location but still houses people that are being experimented on.” Mac said. “Did they know where Robert is?" I asked “No, they didn't even know who Robert was." “OK, well we need to move in on them, Alexa said “We need to see what were working with and come up with a plan. It will take a few days. I will send scouts out today." Colter said “OK, how many more people do we have to talk with down there,” Alexa asked “There are eleven more,” Liam said. “Alexa, I really don't want you down there. Storm is under control, let's not bring her back out right now” I told her. “That's fine, I need to get Sloane to talk to me” She said. “Potatoe chips and tomatoes” Liam said “What?” I asked him. “Take her potato chips and tomatoes. That's what she has been craving right now. You have those and she will do anything t eat them.” Liam said smiling. Alexa ran to him and hugged him tightly. I wanted to let out a growl, but I held back. “OK, let's get going. I want to get this done with and see what else we can figure out” I said and started walking out of the room. I went out in the hallway and waited for Alexa to come out. I didn't wait but about ten seconds. She walked right over to me and kissed my cheek and headed down towards the kitchen “Come on boys, let's get this done,” I said Four hours later we headed back to my office. All three of us were covered in blood and had a little more information and a few dead guys. We didn't kill all of them just the ones that either pissed us off or refused to talk. We walked into my office, and I went straight to the cupboard that held my liquor. I poured three glasses and handed both Mac and Liam one while I drank the other. “Have you heard anything from the scouts yet?” Mac asked “No, I should be soon.” I walked over and pulled the maps out that Storm had been working on. We marked out the one location that we knew was one of his buildings. “I need to call the council tomorrow about this. They are going to want to be present like last time." I said thinking out loud. “Hey, man can you do me a favor?” Mac asked. “What?” “If for whatever reason you think you need to t*****e me do not let Storm, do it!" He said laughing. “She is a little brutal, isn't she?” Liam said. “She is perfect, and she will be the one to do any torturing in the future,” I said with a smile on my face. “Mac, how are things going with Aubree?” I finally asked him “She is coming around a little bit. She will at least talk to me now. We try to eat dinner together. It's slow going but I will go at any rate she needs. She has been through so much!” He said “sloane made me wait six months until I could mark her" Liam said. “Why so long?" I asked. That was unusual for wolves unless something had happened to them like Aubree. “Iam a few years older than her, and we found each other on her I8th birthday, and she wasn't ready. She wanted to get to know me first” I sat there thinking back to my first date with Alexa and how we ended up in the back of my truck on a dirt road. It was amazing, until that stupid wreck and me being kidnapped and shot thing. We continued to drink into the night and talk about our mates. It was a nice little stress reliever, but I should really go find my mate. “Boy's I am going to call it a night and go find my mate," I told them. “I am going to guess that she is with my mate,” Liam said. We closed up my office and locked the door and headed up the stairs Mac kept going to Aubree's room and Liam and I went to his room. I knew I shouldn't be surprised by what we were about to see but it does every time Liam opened the door and we walked into their bedroom. There were the girls sound asleep, holding each other Alexa had her head on Sloane's shoulder and her hand on her little baby bump and Sloane had her arms wrapped around Alexa. It was pretty cute. Both Liam and I laughed at the sight of them because not only were they cuddled up but there were several bags of chips on the bed and soda on the nightstand. “I would like to say this is the first time that I have found them asleep in bed cuddling with food covering the bed but unfortunately it's a common occurrence.” Liam said walking over to the bed and grabbing the chip bags. I walked over and carefully removed Alexa from the bed and carried her up to our room. She didn't stir at all I put her in bec and headed to the shower. I got out of the shower and slipped into bed and Alex rolled over to me and laid her head on my chest. “Baby I am so sorry” She said sounding sad. “You have nothing to be sorry for” “I do. I lost our pup, I lost control of my wolf, I tortured and killed a man and 'm not going to lie I want to do it again to anyone who was involved.” “First of all none of that is your fault. You did everything you could. Stop blaming yourself and as for Storm we will work on control” “I love you and thank you for taking care of me." “I love you too and I also love taking care of you." We both laid there until sleep came. I was woken up a few hours later with mind links coming in about an attack and then the alarm bells sounded Ijumped out of bed and ran for the door with Alexa right behind me. o [savers SAE
