Chapter 70

Alexa's POV

“What the f**k happened to me?" I yelled out

I was sitting in a hospital bed and had just drunk several bags of blood. I needed it, I wanted it, and it tasted so good. Colter and a doctor were sitting there just staring at me. I didn’t know what to say or do but I knew I needed to drink it.

“How do you feel Princess?” Colter asked me.

“Fine, but what happened?”

“Robert had you injected with vampire venom. You went through the transition. All that pain that you felt and how hot you were was the transition.” Colt said.

“So, you're saying that I am now a vampire?”

“Yes, but do you still have your wolves?” The doctor asked.

“I don’t know."

“Try to talk to them,” Colter said.

I closed my eyes trying to take all of this information in and not cry. How could he do this to me?

“Girls, are you still there?"

“Yes, we're still here. We would never leave you!" Jade said.

“Are you ok?” I asked

“Yes, we're both ok but we're now a hybrid” Storm said.

I opened my eyes and just shook my head yes at both Colter and the doctor. You could see both of them look at me with relief,

“Did you get Robert?" I asked

“Yes, he is currently being held in one of our cells,” Colter said.

“Good, I want to talk to him right now" I said. I could feel Storm pushing forward.

“I think we need to figure you out first. I don’t want you to go down there too soon. We don't know what you're capable of ye and we don't know how you will react,” Colter said.

Storm was growling in my head, but I knew he was right. I needed to get answers and not just kill him like Storm wanted to do.

“I will leave you two alone, but you may go home as long as your vitals stay stable for the next few hours” The doctor said a: he got up and left the room.

I looked over to Colter who was still looking at me with so much love, but I don't know why. I really was a monster now. I had two wolves and also was now a vampire. He stood and started to get into bed with me.

“top” I told him but he had a look of confusion on his face.

“Why?” He asked.

“Because I don't know what I am capable of, and I don't want to hurt you," I said looking down. I couldn't look at him. “Princess, you are not going to hurt me. I love you and I am not going anywhere. Now would you let me hold you for a minute?” He asked.

I just shook my head yes at him because as much as he wanted to hold me, I wanted him to just as much. He got in bed with me and pulled me into his lap. I could feel my whole body light up with sparks still. We just lay there for a while. I could hear the blood coursing through his body. I could hear his heart pump the blood out and into the rest of his body. It was a weird thing. I could always hear his heartbeat but not like this.

“What is going to happen to me?” I finally asked him.

“What do you mean?” He asked.

“Well I'm not just a wolf anymore and I am not just a vampire. I am both. What happens to those that are both?"

“Nothing is going to happen to you. You are going to stay right here by my side” He said.

“What if I can't learn how to control the vampire side of me then what? I will be a danger to everyone.”

“You will learn trust me."

“One more question,” I told him

“You can ask all the questions you want”

“What happened to those that we left at Julians that were also injected?” I asked him.

“I am not sure. We need to call him. I need to let him know what has happened and that we have Robert in custody”

We continued to lay there waiting for the doctor to come back in. I could feel myself getting sleepy, so I closed my eyes and let sleep take over. I was woken up when the doctor came back into the room.

“How do you feel Luna?" He asked me.

“I feel fine. I just really need to go home” I said.

“Let me just check your vitals and if they are good, you can go home." He said.

He came over and took my vitals and listened to my heart and then stepped back.

“You seem to be just fine. You can go home." He said.

“Thank you, doctor?" I said.

I got off Colter and off the bed and realized I had no clothes.

“There are clothes in the bathroom,” Colter said.

“How did you know?"

“Because I'm your mate.” He said, just smiling at me.

I walked into the bathroom and got dressed and walked back out. I was feeling a little nervous about seeing people. I still didn't know how my vampire side would react.

“Please don't leave my side,” I told Colter as we got to the door.

“Princess I am not leaving you and you are not going to hurt anyone.

We walked out and no one said a word to us or really paid attention to us. We made it to the pack house and headed to Colter’s office but before we got there Sloane saw us and before I could say a word she had her arms wrapped around me.

I could hear her blood coursing through her body and her heart pumping it out and honestly, she smelt so sweet and I wanted to try and taste her blood. It made my mouth water.

“Ym sorry Sloane. I can't be that close to you right now." I told her.

“What happened? she asked.

“We have to make a phone call and then I will explain everything to you," I said.

She just nodded and walked away.

“See Princess I told you that you wouldn't hurt anyone."

“But I wanted to as soon as she hugged me, "I told him.

“But you didn't and it will be ok. Let's go call, julian”

We got to his office and he pulled out his phone and dialed Julian's number.

“Hey man, everything ok?” Julian asked.

“No we were attacked again by Robert and well he got his hands on Alexa; Colt said.

“Is she ok?"

“Yes and no. He injected her with vampire venom and well now she is a hybrid. We were hoping you had information regarding those who were injected that we left at your pack”

“Well I sort of have the Vampire King here and he has been helping me."

“How the hell did you get him there?”

“I know a guy and he's actually pretty nice. I can see if he will come to you.”

“Yes please!” I practically yelled.

“Ok give me a few minutes and I will call you guys back”

“Do you think he will come and help me?” I asked Colter.

“Princess, if he knows how amazing you are then he will be here so fast” He said with a giant smile on his face.

“So much has been going on but did everything get arranged with bringing my old pack here?" I asked. I had failed with that but we got called away to Julian's pack and then everything went downhill from there.

“Yes, Liam and Sloane took care of everything”

“Gosh, I owe them so much right now."

“Liam was just doing his job and since Sloane is his mate it isn't uncommon for her to help him with those things."

“still that was a lot of work and I should have been there to help them”

“You were working on a much bigger job

“So what happened with my pack members?”

“We only had a few that left and went to another pack. Everyone else is loyal to you. They all had nothing but amazing thing to say about you.” He said as he kissed my cheek.

His phone started ringing and he picked it up and answered it and put it on speaker. Not that it mattered because I could still hear everything that was being said.

“Hey man, that was fast,” Colter said answering the phone.

“I said give me like ten minutes. Anyway, he said he would be happy to come. He will be there this evening” He said.

“Do we need anything special for him and does he come with other people? How many accommodations do we need?” I asked getting excited.

“He has three people with him. So three rooms. As far as food and whatnot they take care of that themselves. I didn’t ask an I don't want to know.” He said.

“Thanks, we need to go get everything ready," Colter said and hung up.

“We should also tell the pack and our Elite Acadamy guest,” I told him.

“I will send a pack-wide link and we will meet at four” He said.

“I am going to find some omegas and have rooms prepared for them," I said and got up off his lap.

I walked out of his office and went to the kitchen to talk with our head omega and as soon as I got in there I could hear the blood pumping in their bodies and their heartbeat pushing the blood out so I turned right around and went back up to Colter’s office and threw the door open.

“What's wrong Princess?” He asked.

“I can't be around people. I tried but it is too much” I told him.

“Maybe you need more blood?” He asked me.

“I can't do that. I can't bite someone and suck their blood out" I said feeling disgusted.

“Princess, you don't have to. We can have some blood from the hospital brought over”

“I will try it because I can't avoid them forever”

“OK, I will have someone bring some over. In the meantime, I have something I want to show you.” He said getting up.

He grabbed my hand and took me out of his office and down the hall to the next door. He pulled a key card out of his pocket and handed it to me.

“What's this?" I asked him.

“Open the door”

I put the key card in the door and it unlocked and I opened the door. I walked into an office. It was painted a soft cream colo with a giant beautiful desk and with a nice chair behind it and also some bookshelves and a table with chairs.

“What is this? I ask

“It's your office princess. I've been meaning to give you the key to it but we seem to have been really busy.” He said.

“Thank you, babe, I love it’ I told him

“Let me know if you need anything else for it. You have a laptop on the desk and I will start to show you all the programs we use later”

“Thank you. Really I love it” I said. I really did love it. I wasn't expecting something like this but it was nice to have.

“Ok, I will leave you so you can check everything out” He said as he kissed my forehead and walked out of the room.

Once he left I let out a big breath I was holding. I have got to get my vampire side under control. I wanted to bite into him so badly but I can't do that. I walked over to my door and made sure it was locked and went and sat at my desk.

“Girls, how do you feel about everything?” I asked both my wolves.

“It's kinda going to be amazing," Jade said happily.

“Why do you think that?”

“It's going to make us so much stronger and faster. Just learn to control your thirst and all will be good.” Storm said.

I could be on board with the extra strength and speed but this whole blood thing had me a little freaked out.

I got up and walked around my office checking everything out. I could tell already I needed to add some pictures and my favorite books and some soft colors to lighten it up even more. I would make it my own space in time.
