Chapter 85

Alexa's POV

I woke up the next morning wrapped up in Colter's arms. I was warm from his body heat and comfortable. This was the best night's sleep I have had in a long time. I wasn't haunted by nightmares. Meeting with the counselor was extremely helpful and it felt great to talk about things. I was able to tell her things that I haven't been able to tell Colter. My biological father showing up also helped. It seemed to fill a void in my heart that I didn't know I even had. I still had so many unanswered questions but the thought of overthrowing the council is something that I really want to do. I just hope that he will agree with me and help us. I knew that regardless of whatever happened Colt was on my side.

“Princess, what are you thinking about so hard?”

“Everything. I really want to talk with my father. I want to know what he thinks about overthrowing the council”

“I agree and no matter what he says I will support you and whatever you want to do.”

“I know thank you."

“Come on, let's get some breakfast in you”

We both got out of bed and got dressed and ready for the day and headed down to the dining hall. When we got down I found my father and Roscoe and Emma all sitting there talking. I walked over to them.

“Hey, guys. I was hoping that we could all talk after breakfast. Roscoe, I think that it is a good idea that you come as well” “I would be happy too. I would like to thank you for your hospitality. I need to be headed home in a few days.” He said. “Emma, are you going as well?” I asked her.

“Yes, he is my mate after all”

“I am going to miss you. You have become such a great friend” I told her meaning everything I said.

“Oh girl, you aren't getting rid of me that easily. We will be back to visit don't worry"

“Princess, let's get some breakfast and then we can all meet in my office.”

An hour later and we were sitting in Colter’s office and they were all staring at me waiting for me to start.

“OK, I had a crazy idea last night and I don’t know if you would be on board with it or not but I think we should overthrow th council and let you take your rightful place back in this world.”

The room was silent and I think their mouths had hit the floor. This was a crazy idea but if I could get these guys on my side then I think we could do it. Roscoe suddenly started laughing hysterically.

“I told you she was the one.” he finally got out between laughs.

“What do you mean?” Colter asked.

“Do you remember I told you she was the most powerful person? I wasn't lying. She will be the one to overthrow them and rule over the supernatural” Roscoe explained.

“What do you mean?” I asked not fully understanding.

“Daughter, I can feel your power. I know that you are also part vampire due to what that filthy man did to you but your wolves are so strong. You emit power that not just anyone can. I can feel it. I may be the Alpha of my pack but you outrank me by a lot. You just haven't learned how to use it yet. It is something I can teach you, and to answer your question yes we. will help you overthrow the council”

“So you are saying I am the strongest wolf out there?”

“Yes by a lot. Have you given any thought about going to my pack to meet the rest of your family?”

“Yes but only if my mate can come”

“Of course. My mate and Luna wanted to come with me and it was hard to leave her but I wasn't sure what would be waiting for us so I made her stay and let me just tell you she can’t wait to meet you."

“When do you want to leave?”

“Tomorrow. We have a few day's drives.”

“OK, we will be ready.”

“Well, it seems we have a lot to do in a little amount of time,” Colt said.

“Yes, we do. I need to go talk to Sloane and can pack our bags”

“Thank you, princess. I need to get things lined up with our Beta’s.”

“I will leave you two to it and let me know if you need help”

“Alexa, you have my support and whatever you need,” Roscoe said.

I got up and left the office and went straight to Sloane's room. I knocked on the door and Liam answered it.

“Hey she is feeding the baby in the living room,” he said.

“Thanks.”

I walked into the living room and there she was with her boob out feeding Alexis. I went and sat down beside her.

“Girl we need to talk.”

“Ya, your real dad?" She said giving me a questioning look.

“Yes, and I am going to his pack for a while to learn about my heritage and meet the rest of my family”

“What you're leaving?”

“I have to but it's only for a short time and Colter is going with me."

“When will you be back?"

“I don't know, but when we get back we are going to overthrow the council”

“Apparently my family used to rule over all werewolves and the council thought they wiped them all out but some got away and have stayed hidden for hundreds of years. I want to give my family back their rightful place in the world”

“I am going to miss you while you are gone. You can't be gone too long because Alexis will go so fast and I need you here.” “I won't I promise.”

“Come on, I will help you pack” She said as she pulled Alexis off her and pulled her shirt back down.

“Liam, I need you to take Alexis, while I go help Lex”

“Good, I could use some time with my baby girl alone” He said taking her and smiling at her.

“Come on girl, we got to get you packed.”

We took off to my room and we spent the next four hours packing bags for Colt and me. We had four suite cases clear full bu I didn't know how long we were staying and I wanted to make sure that we had enough.

“I need to go get my baby. My boobs are going to explode” Sloane said grabbing her boobs.

“Let's go"

“Liam said he is in the Alpha's office in a meeting with her but we can go up there, just let me stop and grab a cover so I can nurse.”

We stopped at her room and she grabbed what she needed and then we headed to Colter's office. When we got there I didn’ knock and just walked in. He had Liam and Mac there along with my father, Roscoe, and William.

“What's going on here boys?” I asked as we walked in.

“Just getting everyone prepared for us to leave”

“It takes all of you to do that”

“Well no we were also talking with them about your plans to overthrow the council”

Sloane had gone over to Liam and took Alexis from him and went and sat on the couch. I walked over to her and sat down beside her.

“Please don't let us interrupt you guys”

They continued to talk while Sloane and I had our own conversation.

“Are you about done feeding that baby? I really need to get all the snuggles in I can until I come back”

After a few more minutes she finally handed me Alexis and I placed her on my shoulder and patted her back trying to get he to burp. It didn't take long for her to burp and that's when I noticed that Colter was watching me so much, love in his eyes. “You look good with a baby on you He mind-linked me.

“I like the feeling. I can't wait for our own.”

“I know Princess and trust me we are trying and it will happen”

I just smiled back at him and continued to snuggle Alexis. Sloane walked over and sat down with Liam while I held that baby “OK, 50 I think we have everything set for our departure. Julian has agreed to help out if there is any type of emergency.” “That's good.”

“How about you guys go get us some pizza for dinner and we can take it up to our room and we can all enjoy one last meal together,” I suggested.

“That sounds great,” Mac said.

“I will leave you to it” My father said

“That includes you too, dad,” I told him. I wasn't sure how he would feel about being called that but I couldn't help it. Something felt right about it.

“You called me dad.”

“am sorry. I can call you Michael or Alpha if you would like”

“No it's perfect, I just didn’t know if we would ever get to that”

I walked over to him and hugged him with the free arm that I had.

We all walked out and the guys headed towards the garage and we headed for our room. I had sent Aubree a mind link to meet us there for dinner.

We walked into our room and Aubree was about twenty seconds behind us. She knocked and then came in. As soon as she got close enough I could see the new mark on her neck from Mac.

“OH, my goddess you finally let him mark you,” I screamed out.

“Ya, I figured if I was going to have his baby then I would let him mark me”

“What?” yelled Sloane.

“Ya I found out yesterday and I let him mark me last night”

“You're having a baby?" I asked her.

“Yes but it's still early.”

“Oh, he is in so much trouble when he gets here.”

“He didn't tell you?"

“No, but in his defense, he was told that Colt and I were leaving for a while so he was getting a lot of information thrown at him.”

“What you're leaving?”

“Yes, I found my real father who wants me to go to his pack to meet more of my family and we are going. I am not sure how long we will be gone”

“I am so happy for you Lex. You deserve to know them.”

“Those boys better hurry I am starving” Sloan announced.

“What are they bringing?” Asked Aubree

“Pizza,” I replied.

We all made it to the couch and sat down waiting for them. Aubree came and took Alexis from me and was snuggling her on the couch while we waited. Thirty minutes later and all of the guys walked into the room holding pizza boxes and several different drinks.

“MAC! You are in so much trouble.” I yelled at him.

“What did I do?" He asked looking a little scared.

“First of all want to explain that giant mark on your neck? Also what else do you have to tell us?" I asked him.

“Baby I thought we were waiting?” He asked Aubree.

She just laughed and shrugged her shoulders.

“What is going on man?” Colt asked.

“Well, we're going to have a pup”

“That is fantastic news! Congratulations man” Colter said.

“Thanks, we're really excited,” Mac said as he put his pizza boxes down and walked over, and kissed Aubree.

“Now you guys need to have one,” Liam said.

“l am trving every night and most mornings and some afternoons,” Colt said laughing.
