Alpha Connor arrived at Daciana’s door with the help of Lynne, of course they ran into each other on his way to the slaves quarters.

since he doesn't know which room she stays in, he thought of buying the idea of her company.

With haste, he pushed the door which seems like a barrier to him and Daciana opened and stepped in only to be met by a dead silence.

The medicine man was in and Kaira sat beside Daciana on the bed.

She haven't moved an inch away from her Queen since yesterday.

She cried herself to sleep and kept blaming herself occasionally for not stopping her when she had the chance to.

It's been almost fifteen hours and yet, Daciana is still lying unmoved.

Did she just pass out? Could they be another thing that's making her this unconscious for a long time?

Both Kaira and the medicine man rose on their feet at the entrance of Alpha Connor.

“Good day Alpha king” they greeted simultaneously while Lynne stepped back.

“You will be fine female, you have to be fine” he whispered into her ears but loud enough to be heard by others in the room, No one was as surprised and happy as Kaira.

The Alpha is right here with a worried look on stone cold face, holding onto her Queen's hand and whispering not so loud words in her ear.

If only her queen is awake to see this gesture, to see that Alpha Connor at least care about her.

Alpha Connor laughed, he let out a throaty laugh and snickered disdainfully.

“Spare you? When my slave is still lying there? You must be joking because this joke really did crack me up” he spat spitefully.

“Now give me a sincere answer, if you lie, I will kill you right here. You will be dead in the next seconds if I find out that you are lying to me”

Alpha Connor threatened. He stood up from his squatting position and began circling Carey's chair.

“What did you do to her?" He asked in a very calm manner, his voice was so calm yet, it sent shivers into Carey's spine. Carey was scared, his eyeballs danced in fear.

The fierce looking man circling him meant what he said when he threatened to kill him.

But still, Carey wasn't sure he will spare her if he reveals anything to him.

Before he asked Lynne to bring the slave Luna with her to the field.

He had spiked her food this morning before it was served to her by Kaira.

He had wanted her to pass out in a place he'd be able to drag her to his room and punish her cruelly on his bed.

He wouldn't care if she is awake or not.

All that matters to him is having the slave Luna on his bed for days while he do whatever he wants with her.

He had perfectly planned that out but his plan failed woefully and she ended up passing out on the field where he has no access to her.

“Now speak” Alpha Connor commanded.

Carey shook his head unwilling to say the truth. To him, it will only worsen if Alpha king finds out his intention and what he did.

He knew how punishable the offense is. No one will spare him, not Alpha Connor whose eyes held blazing fire in them.

He was cold feet, even with the pain, a trace of cold sweats still broke off from his body.

Alpha Connor pressed it more to his neck. He screamed very faintly since they was no strength left in him.

“I didn’t do anything to her, she just passed out”

He voiced out in form of a whisper that it took Alpha Connor a few seconds to process his words.

With that, Alpha Connor removed a sword from one of the guards, none of them could look him in the eyes.

He raised the sharp knife up in rage and in the next seconds, Carey's head was rolling on the floor with blood gushing out of his brain.
