Fenrir POV

Iwas dreaming and it was crazy one. In my dream, Lorena was running away from me trying so hard to get away from me. I was a different person as both my eyes were blood red; my lips were burnt black and my hair was incredibly long. Even my fingers were black and dirty. I was close to shifting to my wolfs as furs appeared on my skin.

“you can run forever but I won't let you escape me now,” I laughed like a maniac as I went after her. The urge to kill her was overwhelming. there was no Draca in my head and neither was my wolf monster anywhere to be found. I was just there making sure she didn't escape me.

“don't kill me please,” she begged but I refused to answer her and when she reached a dead end, she fell to her knees. “I dic all you asked me to and even sacrificed my own people just so I could be so close to you,” she burst into tears. “I did all of those to sacrifice you so why are you doing this to me?” she asked.

“seeing you like this makes me glad and killing you is the only option for me to be satisfied!” I laughed lie a maniac and grabbed her by the throat. Pinning her to the wall, I tightened my grip on her throat and raised my hand to strike her but sh burst into tears and screamed out my name.

jerked awake into reality. I gasped and wiped the beads of sweats that had trailed down my face away and looked around me. I was still inside the room in the arena and when I checked my Rolex, I realized that I had been sleeping for an hour and a few minutes. “oh!” I rubbed my forehead.

“That was an amazing dream right?” Draca asked as his annoying voice sounded in my head.

“how do you mean?” I asked him wondering if he knew something about the dreams. It was the only reason why he would ask me such question. Just as he was about to answer, the door leading to the room burst opened and Romeo walked in. “your highness,” he bowed and walked into the room. “what is going on and why did you barge in like that?” I asked. “I could be sleeping!”

Romeo lowered his head in apology. “I already checked up on you five times now and I only entered the room because I could hear you talking to yourself or the demon,” his explanation for opening the door was reasonable and it wouldn't make sense if I created a fuss about it. I ruffled my hair and beckoned to him to bring my jacket laying on the couch. He handed it over to me and I wore it.

“how is the contest? The time is up, right?” I asked.

“only five minutes left your highness,” he answered. “this is one of the reasons why I am here,” he said and I turned to face him. “the rest of the concubines but....." he hesitated and lowered his head.

“speak!” I ordered him and he nodded in response.

“ concubine Lorena and the future Luna queen Angelica haven't arrived yet and...” he paused yet again and it was starting tc get on my nerves. I had no idea why he was stopping when he could say everything.

“what is it!” I shouted at him. I was impatient waiting to hear what he had to say next.

“why are you stopping when you are close to revealing things.”

Romeo lowered his head and muttered a few words of apologies. “your highness, I haven't sent a search party for them but they are nowhere to be found. It as if they disappeared from the forest”

“what?” I yelled and moved closer to him. Grabbing the collar of his shirt, I pulled me closer to him until I could feel his breath on my face. “why didn't you tell me sooner huh?”

“you were sleeping,” he answered.

That was true. I was sleeping but he could have woken me up not minding if I was asleep or not.

“you could have woken me up!” I let go of him and headed out of the room.

“so, about the dream,” dumb Draca decided that it was the best time to bring that up.

“not now Draca,” I told him and blocked the connection with him because I was not in the mood to speak to him. He was going to talk about things that would anger me pushing me to either loose my coolness or kill someone. “stay off my f**+g head,” I warned him.

“okay your royal highness,” he laughed and that was the end of his chattering.

“if Lorena and Angelica are not in the forest then it means that they found the Pelita trees, right?" I asked Romeo and he nodded in response as he was beside me. That was the only reason why no one had found them. They were probably thrown in the pit of the Pelita trees.

“then we know exactly where to find them,” I walked faster and headed to the arena. When everyone saw me walked in, they all rose their feet and greeted me.

“your highness!”

Iignored their greetings and headed to the center of the arena walking past the girls but Danielle grabbed my hand and began to cry. “the forest was cold your highness,” she said and placed her head on my hand.

I pushed her head away and yanked her hand on mine. “I already warned you to never touch me ever!” I shouted at her.

She fell to her knees and begged for mercy. “I am so sorry your highness,” she said.

Ignoring her, I walked towards the center and beckoned to the guards to opened up the circle that bears resemblance to the one inside the forest. There were two red marks and when the guards pressed it, the circle opened and I entered while Romeo followed me. we walked down what seems like a stair until we reached down the pit. Once we were down, I saw Lorena and angelica laying on the ground surrounding the jewelry.

They found it and I was surprised wondering the one among them who found out about the Pelita trees. Since the competition was about intelligence, I never knew that anyone would find it so quickly.

“amazing,” I commented and walked towards Lorena. To be honest, I missed her and the few hours spent apart made it seems like years.

“I said it!” Draca laughed in my head. "you have feelings for her,” he shouted.

Do I2 how could I have feelings for a human who gets on my nerve. I refused to believe that. Even though she was my mate, there was no way I could ever have feelings for anyone.
