Meg was running late and the ceremony was almost starting so I went back to the house to fetch her. I opened the front door and froze there. My mom stood beside a very beautiful whom for a second I didn’t recognize. My goodness Meg was spectacular. She was like a goddess right now.

She wore a breathtaking elegant turquoise blue linen dress touched with stylized brushstroke of emerald green that matched her beautiful green eyes. The dress skimmed Meg long slender figure without revealing too much of her body and had couture sewed into every invisible seam. The neckline squire, the bodice cinched into the waist by yellow belt and the skirt skimmed midway down her amazing long thighs. She wore five inch yellow shoes that made her sexily tall. She wore less make up and that only turned me on because my girl was a natural beauty.

“You look stunning. I don’t even know the term that I can use to describe you right now baby.” I told her as I took her hand and kissed it.

“Thank you. You look handsome yourself. Tuxedo really goes well with you.”

How can I guy feel any more special than when her girl tells him something like that. I took her hand in mine and led her out of the house.

“I just feel like removing that dress and make to you slowly.” I whispered in her ear.

“Hey we’ve just made love not long ago.”

“With such beauty like you by my side I don’t think that my hunger for you can ever be satisfied. Lets hurry Abby and Bree are waiting for us outside.”

We out of the house and Bree were with the women as it is our custom for the new Luna to be escorted to the ceremony by the pack women as a symbol of acceptance.

“I think this is where I leave you to the able hands of your fellow women to lead you to the hall.” I said it and kissed her on the forehead and left.

This ceremony was a risky one because some of the guards on the boarder has been spotting rogues near our territory. One of the warrior had said that they think that Erin and Meg’s father are behind the rogues near the boarder.

I think that those were his spies checking out how our security is. I know this ceremony ahead was going to change our lives because I could feel it. I know that Meg will be a white wolf because of the occasions that have happen and yet she has not yet turned.

I looked at the sky and pray to the moon goddess to protect her from any harm that was supposed to be inflicted on her.

I reached the main hall and stood at the door waiting for her. I was joined by Norman my best friend who also is my Beta and Neville who is my Gamma waiting for them to arrive.

“Hey man you look nervous. It feels like you are waiting for your bride in church like the humans do.” For sure Norman was mocking me.

“Can you just shut up. Don’t ruin my moods please. Today is my girls day so just leave me alone.” I turned and saw that the group that was escorting Meg was approaching the mall. The current elders plus elder John approached the entrance of the hall to guide her in her place that’s next to my Alpha seat. She walked up to where I was standing and took my hand and followed the elders.

When we got inside the hall every member of the pack stood up with respect and welcomes us in the hall. Meg froze when they stood so I had to stop first.

“Hey what’s wrong? You’ve suddenly gone cold.” I asked and I was answered by the direction of her eyes. “Hey don’t worry about the pack members they love and respect you a lot.”

“What if they do not accept me to be their Luna? What if they know that I escaped earlier to go for shopping? Am afraid Tyler am really afraid. I don’t know if I can do this.” Right now she was trembling like a leaf.

“Only Norman, Neville and I know about that incident so don’t worry. Furthermore you’ve accepted that you behaved badly and you are going to change and be an even greater Luna any mate.”

She nodded positively and we continued to walk to the place that was assigned for us to sit. We sat and every pack member that was present sat so that the ceremony could start. I could still feel that Meg was tensed and I knew that she was going to be only fine when the ceremony will end. I took her hand in mine because I knew that my touch can at least keep her at ease.

One of the elders stood up and officially opened the ceremony. The ceremony first started with entertainment. When elder John stood up at the stage and called us to go to the stage. We stood up and went to stand in front of elder John. “Today is a great day since we will be celebrating the official welcome of our Luna Megan Williams.”

The pack members responded with lots of clapping and scream which meant that she was truly welcomed as their Luna. “Please can you kneel so that we can bind our Luna to the pack.” We knelt down in front of him and he spoke again.

“As it is our tradition we need both your blood so that when they mix together the new Luna might be able to have a link with all the pack members of this pack.” He said as he brought the bowl that our blood was to be mixed in front of us then the knife that was used by each generation of the Alphas.

“Then when the Luna does not get the link with the pack members then that will mean that the moon goddess has rejected her as the Luna of that particular pack.” I looked at Meg and she was somehow shocked but then elder John spoke again. “But not to worry because there is no case ever of the moon goddess rejecting the Luna.”

He took the knife and I stretched my hand so that he could make the cut on my palm of my hand. He made a small incision at the center and the blood was left to flow on the bowl. Then few second later the blood flow stopped due to my fast healing because am an Alpha. I was given a towel to dry the blood that had stained my hand. I stepped back and Meg stretched he hand too and the incision was also made.

I could feel the discomfort and pain that she felt when the cut was made. Her blood flowed and mixed with mine on the bowl. She was also given the towel and she stepped back. I took her hand in mine and we went back to our sitting position. Elder John took the bowl and placed it on the table. All the elders surrounded the table and after some few minutes Meg dropped down and touched her head while she was screaming and I could feel her pain.

“What’s happening to her John? I swear if she gets hurt by your act I am going to kill you all.” I told him as I gathered Meg to my arms.

“Its too much Tyler I can’t take it anymore.” With that statement John came up to where she was and knelt besides her.

“Just think that you don’t want to listen to then then you will not hear any sound on your mind at all.” He said it to her.

“But I don’t know how to do it.”

That’s when I knew that it was the mind link with the pack members that was affecting her. Since we are the Alpha and Luna we could hear and feel all the emotions of the pack members while the pack members can only feel the emotions of their mates.

I remember the time that I was appointed as the official Alpha we were attacked by rogues and two of my pack members died. I could feel all the packs emotions and it was a lot to handle. I had to cry and my mom supported me through out and told me how to deal with it.

“Its like a wish baby. Just wish that you don’t want to hear and feel it and it will be done.” I told her and I saw her closing her eyes.

I could feel that the pain in her was starting to ease down. Even her tight hold on my shoulder started to become loose. I helped her from the ground and elder John took her hand.

“Ladies and gentlemen I would like to present to you the new Luna of our great Blue Star Pack.” He said and everybody clapped with so much joy welcoming her to the pack.

My heart swelled with so much joy seeing that there was a huge smile plastered on Meg’s adorable face. I knew she had feared that the moon goddess might reject her but her doubts are now things of the past.

“Baby they accepted me. I promise you that I will never again act like I did earlier.” He whispered to me.

“Don’t talk about that. It is a thing of the past. Right now let’s start focusing on the way that you are going to lead this beloved pack of ours.” The noises stopped when elder John asked for silence.

“I will need you Luna to come forward and repeat this vows after me because this has been our tradition since the beginning of our kind.”

I remember that when Alpha Frank had the same ceremony at his pack I went there because they had invited me. I remember also that the new Luna had to swear to the pack. I had only ever attended that Luna ceremony only because when I took after my father demise I was so angry at everyone and every wolf that I refused all the invites to other pack ceremonies.

For Meg’s ceremony I did not invite any other outside pack members because of the threat that came from Erin and Meg’s father. I swear that I would die first before I let someone hurt the love of my life. I just can’t wait for her to be in wolf form so that we could always run together at night in the woods.

“OK are you ready so that we can start right away.” John asked her.

“Am always ready.” She answered looking my way as if she was seeking for some kind of assurance and I did that by nodding and smiling in approval.

“I Luna Megan Middleton.” What her name has already changed to mine. I was now more proud of her that ever. Even my possessiveness on her has increased by a large fraction.

She repeated after him and he continued “promise that I will be a good Luna. That I will love cherish and always put the pack members needs before my needs.”

She repeated all of that and much more until the line that interest me most came up and she said it well. “I promise that I will always respect and love my Mate and I will provide him with many pups that the Moon goddess will bless us with. So help me moon goddess.” And just like that she was now officially the new Luna and the ceremony was over.

She was still being praised by the pack members when I stood up to talk. “As it is our tradition today at exactly midnight we will all be meeting at the field for the Luna first run. As many of you know our Luna has not yet transformed in to her wolf form so therefore she will lead the run by walking as long as she is in front of us.”

The meeting was dismissed and the pack members started to leave. Abby came and stole Meg from my side and I told her to wait for me as I was going to have a little chat with elder John.

I found him talking to the other elders and so he excused himself to come and talk to me. “Congratulations son. Now you have yourself a mate and Luna. What more could you ask for. You are lucky man son.”

“Thank you so much John but I came to ask you now what will happen next.”

“We will have to be patience and wait for mother nature to work out his course. But just in case it happens just mind link me and go to the place that we decided. We can’t risk it for her to be seen as a white wolf.” He said and paused a bit as some of the pack members came to congratulate me.

“I have already talked to the witch and she is ready at any time to cast the spell for her. I will just go to her right now and await your word.”

“Thank you so much. I don’t know how I could have done it by myself. Have a good evening.”

I told him and left in search of Meg so that we could go back to the house and wait. If she will not have shifted by midnight, we will have to walk instead of running. The reason why we always do that tradition is that it shows that she can lead the pack on my absence.

I found her with Abby and Bree. They were conversing in low tone but when they saw me they stopped talking and smiled. I seems as if they were talking about me.

“We need to go so that you could rest for what’s to come. You will need all energy.” I said to her and she said her goodbyes and I too mind linked Norman and Neville telling them that we will meet later.

We got to the house and she said that she felt her body being so hot and she needed a shower. I helped her out of her dress and I just wanted to make love to her but I knew that that was not a good time for that.

She went to the bathroom and left the door ajar. I went to the balcony with a glass of whiskey and stared at my pack.

Her body is burning up. She is in pain and you are just here. Mate is in trouble.

Shane said that and I turned and went for the bathroom. By the looks of things it seems that time had passed and I didn’t realize it. She had stayed in the bathroom for around forty minutes. I found her in the bath tub looking shocked as hell.

“It won’t stop. Its so painful. I can’t do it Tyler.”

“We need to get out of here fast. This is going to be a very painful short time but don’t worry I will be by your side. I will try and ease your pain.”
