Theo’s P.O.V. 

I was so proud of my mate for having a far sight. She had already anticipated the Vampires‘ attack on us right after the hybrids succeeded in blocking our way. We were already prepared for their attack, surprising them to their cores when Killian and his warriors attacked them from behind. The shock on their face was worth watching at that time. 

Thunder took control as soon as Luna surfaced, startling all the warriors from both sides. Generally, Luna didn’t shift, but tonight, she not only shifted but showed how fierce a warrior she could be. Along with Thunder and Blake, Killian’s wolf, she was not only invincible to everyone present in our rival team, but also she was a face of death for them. She started attacking them without any hesitation. while using her abilities. Blake was also doing the same thing while Thunder was keeping the hybrids away from her. 

“How much time will they take to reach here?” Blake asked me while fighting with two hybrids at the same time. “They will be here any minute,” I told him in a calm tone. We had already informed the neighbouring packs to send reinforcement to us here. The attack was a little earlier than we anticipated, and that was why, they didn’t reach here till now. “Damn, these hybrids. They are stronger than I anticipated,” he cursed them while killing them mercilessly. 

I could see that everyone around us was now completely exhausted as we had been fighting for more than twenty minutes if my calculation of time was right. My main concern was Luna who was still fighting with enthusiasm. She managed to save our warriors from death so many times, but she also had a limit to everything. Being the descendant of the Moon Goddess didn’t mean that she could do anything to any extent.

Thunder suddenly roared aloud, making me come out of my trance and I looked in front of us. My eyes widened in horror when I saw a group of five vampires. approaching Luna and three hybrids attacked us at the same time. “Luna….. five vampires at your right,” I mind–linked her immediately in panic while Thunder started fighting with hybrids. “Let’s play the game,” she answered me in a tired. tone, but I was shocked to hear her response. 

Thunder didn’t waste a second while doing what she asked, and then they both started attacking others in synchronization, but the shocking thing was that they were shifting into human form, and back to their wolf forms frequently now. They pounced on their enemies in wolf’s form, but attacked them in their human form.

Chapter 322 

To my relief, Luna could shift with clothes, and that was why I was not worried about anyone seeing her n*ked as we generally shed our clothes during the shift. 

The whole scene changed as Killian, Edward, and Nathan also joined us. We have been practising this for more than ten days, and I was glad that Crystal proposed this form of fighting against the hybrids. Both hybrids and vampires were startled. by this sudden change of pattern. I could say that they were not anticipated that we could do something like this. 

Both Thunder and Blake roared aloud from time to time, creating fear in them. Suddenly I sensed more presence around us and groaned in frustration. “No way,” I grunted when I saw a new wave of vampires joining the fight. “We need backup now,” Luna screamed through the mind link. I was now worried for her. Their main target was her, and now with almost fifty new vampires joining the battle could be a fatal blow to us. 

I was about to say something when a loud roar boomed the whole area, taking everyone including us off guard. “Who is he?” someone yelled as we all looked in. the direction of the roar. It was already dark here as hybrids had destroyed the street lamps already. “Continue the fight… don’t let them take the upper hand,” I commanded immediately when I felt that everyone was distracted by the roar. I could feel that someone with friendly intentions was approaching us. 

“It might be the alpha of Blood Hound Pack,” I told Killian through the mind link. “I don’t think so,” he answered me in an angry tone that confused me more. I didn’t pay any attention to him though as I needed to pass my energy to Thunder so that he could continue fighting. “Luna,” I screamed in horror when I saw two vampires and a hybrid pouncing at her wolf form. We were a little far away from her this time, and it made me worried sick for her. 

Both Thunder and Blake roared aloud in panic. Luna was already dealing with. three vampires when others attacked her. My heart almost stopped beating when I realized that it could be an end for her. It was as if everything had stopped in front of my eyes. “Thunder…. do something,” I yelled in panic when they were about to reach her. She had seen them, but she couldn’t move away from them as she was already stuck in the middle of all of them. 

It felt like I was about to die when suddenly a large brown wolf with white paws suddenly appeared in front of us out of nowhere and tackled two vampires who were about to attack Luna. Nathan was the next who tackled the hybrid down and Thunder easily finished the third vampire. Thunder roared aloud in anger, shaking, the whole area, followed by Blake’s roar. To my surprise, The brown wolf also roared while looking toward the vampires, indicating his protective stance towards

Chapter 52 

Luna. All the hybrids were almost dead, and due to the intrusion of this brown wolf, Vampires now stopped attacking. 

The brown wolf took a defensive stance in front of Luna while snarling at Vampires, challenging them to attack us now. Thunder, Blake, Nathan and Edward also surrounded the Luna protectively. “Don’t let them go away alive from here tonight,” Blake commanded everyone in an angry tone. The vampires panicked when we attacked them again with all our will to finish them off tonight. I didn’t know if this brown wolf was a friend or a foe in reality, but he was very protective towards Crystal. 

I could say that he was an alpha, and a strong one, but couldn’t remember if I had seen him before or not. Still, I was glad that he came with his warriors tonight on time. Soon the reinforcement from the neighbouring packs also joined us, and now everyone was determined to kill all the vampires tonight. I saw Luna sitting down on the ground, and it panicked me again. 

I switched control with Thunder immediately and we shifted into human form. “Luna,” I called her in panic while squatting down near her. She slowly opened her eyes and then closed it again. “Shit,” I cursed when I realized what happened to her. “She is bitten,” I screamed in horror while looking towards Blake. He immediately changed his form too, and Killian immediately approached us. 

“What the hell are you talking about?” he yelled while looking at Crystal worriedly, who also shifted at the same time. My eyes almost popped out of their sockets when I realized how many wounds she sustained tonight. “Give her this.” Suddenly, an unknown voice gave me an instruction and a small bottle filled with a strange liquid appeared in front of my eyes. 

I looked up and saw a man standing in front of us. He was stark n*ked, indicating that he shifted a few seconds ago. “Who are you?” Killian asked him immediately in a cold tone. “There is no time for introductions, kiddo. Give her this immediately or else she will die soon,” the man answered him in a cold tone while unscrewing the bottle. The war was still ongoing, but we were on the winning side now. 

“Can I trust you?” I asked that man in a nervous tone because Crystal was now completely white, drenched in sweat, and her breaths were shallow too. “You have no choice but to trust me, pup. She is dying. I guess you don’t want to lose your mate tonight,” he answered me in a cold tone. “Take it… I could feel that he meant no harm, Thunder instructed me in a hurried tone. 

Without wasting a second, I took the bottle from his hand. “Give her half of the bottle, the man instructed me again, and I just nodded. I looked at Killian, who also nodded to confirm that Thunder was right about this man. “Crystal…. hey….

Killian and that man now covered themselves after wearing baseball shorts given to them by a warrior while I tried to feed her. She slowly gulped down the liquid, as she had no strength in her b*dy now. “You didn’t tell us… who are you?” Killian asked that man again in a calm tone this time. 

“You know me, pup…. but not in a good way.” The man answered him in a calm. tone too, but his words took my attention too. However, I couldn’t look at him. right now as I was busy feeding that medicine to Crystal. She fainted in my embrace, making me panic. “Don’t worry…. she will take a few minutes to start healing herself. Let’s take her away from here,” that man instructed me again in a calm tone. 

I nodded and looked at Killian. He immediately came forward and picked Crystal up in his embrace in bridal style. Her b*dy went limp in his embrace, breaking my heart into millions of pieces. “The Night River Pack is near this place. Talk to his alpha, and ask him to permit you to stay there tonight. She needs plenty of rest and a good medical administration.” The man instructed me again while looking at Crystal in Killian’s embrace. 

I also wore a short while looking at that man curiously. “I don’t need anyone’s permission to enter his pack,” Killian muttered while looking all around. “Leave this mess on us, Nathan said in a worried tone. “Yeah… take Crystal there… we will clear this mess,” Edward also spoke after Nathan in a worried tone. 

Killian nodded, and looked at that man again. “You are the brown wolf who saved Crystal, aren’t you?” Killian asked that man while narrowing his eyes, and I looked at that man while raising my brows in surprise. 

“You are right. The man answered him with a smirk on his l*ps. “You are also the one who stopped the vampire’s attack on us the last time,” I said while narrowing my eyes when I caught a light whiff of a familiar scent. I caught this scent back then when we were travelling towards the Royal Pack. 

“I am really impressed with you, pup. You truly deserve her,” he said, praising me with the same smirk on his face. “Exactly who are you?” Killian asked him in an impatient tone this time, and I was also curious to know. 

“I am the one who has been helping and saving you from vampires‘ attacks all these years, pup. I am the one who is the main suspect in your mother’s kidnapping. I am Alpha Nelson Rosewood.” he gave his introduction in a calm tone, but his introduction made us widen our eyes in shock.
