“You promised me that you will keep him safe, Kyson. Alpha Nelson scoffed but didn’t say a word this time. “What’s going on, dad? Didn’t you suspect that Alpha Nelson is the one who kidnapped my mother?” I asked my father without hiding my hatred towards alpha Nelson while looking at him. I narrowed my eyes when I saw an expression of pain on his face for a few seconds, but he concealed his emotions immediately. 

“The things are not that simple, Killian. He is indeed a suspect in everyone’s eyes since the very beginning because of his love for your mother, but the fact is, he is the one who rescued your mother from her kidnapper eighteen years ago, my
