This is so boring! I’m in summer camp for supernatural beings. It’s the kind of camp for losers. People who struggle with their emotions, anger problems, depression problems...Or people like me who were rejected by their mate, my true soulmate. Yeah, this sucks. Even if I was expecting it as he was avoiding me almost all my life but it was still very painful. And the worst is, he did that at my 18 birthday party!

It was supposed to be my day. Everything was perfect! Shinny day, the decoration beautiful, my dress just perfect... And when my parents announced that I will become the Queen in 7 years for my 25 birthday, he found nothing else to do than to fuck his girlfriend in the bathroom. They were so loud that we could hear them on the other side of the country. When they realized that everyone knew what they were doing. They just said “Oops!” and laughed.

Everyone knew he is - was- my mate... My father wanted to kill him but my mother and I succeed to calm him. He was not worth them to end their friendship with his parents. Anyway, since that day, I became the rejected princess. I am not Selina anymore, just the rejected princess. It’s crazy as an action that you didn’t even do can define who you are! That makes want to destroy everything.

Even since anywhere I go I’m only the rejected princess and people look at me with pity and speak in my back, even my friends... Okay, I’m losing my temper pretty easily, but so much less than my father! Okay, I’ve isolated myself from my friends but what kind of friends speak on your back! Okay, I might have destroyed my room, my office, and the living room because rumors say I’m too unstable to become Queen but sending me here! Come on! As if everything was not unfair enough.

My parents told me it was for my own good, that I need to socialize more and that I may feel less judge with persons with trouble. But this is total bullshit! I’m learning how to act like a princess and a future Queen of my life. I’m serious and very involved in my duties. I don’t need to be here! Yes, it will give a good image but I’m doing enough. So here I am hiding in the forest, up in a tree, I refuse to participate in their stupid activities and as I am their future Queen with an unstable character, they leave my along.

Suddenly, I hear someone running on my left. Who dares to come to disturb me? Time to play the crazy bitch and make them run away. This should be fun!

“Go away if you don’t want to die.” I say, jumping on the intruder.

“You will be freeing me. So please do.” The man says.

What? How to kill my fun.

“No, thanks this is not funny anymore.” I say releasing him.

“You’re Princess Selina, right?” He asks me.

“Thanks captain obvious! And who are you?” I ask.

“Tom, Tom Sangpur. You used to come in my pack when you were younger to see your cousin Julia.” He replies.

" Oh, you’re the asshole’s cousin. Why did you give up your position to my cousin?” I ask. I know Kaiden became the Alpha of the Primus Pack after the Alpha’s son stand down but I don’t know why.

“He is my sister’s mate, I pass the title to her not him directly.”

“And why did you refuse the position.” I ask, curious.

“I don’t want to talk about that.”

“Fine. Why are you here?”

“Was not my idea. My parents send me here! Stupid idea!”

“Yeah, I know! This sucks... You ’re what 24? They can’t force you to come.”

“23. And it was that shitty camp or the hospital. I’ve kind fall asleep with my cigarette and burn my room and a part of the house.”

“You’re 23 and you are still leaving in your parents’ house. That’s sucks.”

“Fuck you!”

“Hey, you’re the one who came in my territory.”

“You pee all around to mark it. Who do you think you’re to decide nobody can pass here.”

“Your future Queen.” I sass.

" You’re not the Queen so you can go to hell. And if you’re not happy then you can kill me.”

So refreshing someone who doesn’t care who I am and don’t pity me.

“No, I kinda like you.” I tell him.

“Well, I don’t so fuck you.”

“Wow, what an expensive vocabulary.” I mock him.

He gives me a finger before to leave.

I’m seating alone for lunch as always. This is so boring... I still 10 days of the deathly camp. I’m taking my lunch outside enjoying the sun as there is nothing more to do. I’m closing my eyes listening to music when I feel a presence seating on my side. I keep my eyes closes and totally ignore whoever it can be. Someone that taps my shoulder after a few seconds. isn’t it obvious that I don’t want to speak with them!

“What?” I ask, my eyes still close.

“Do you know what they say about you?” Tom asks me.

“Yes, I know why?”

“And it’s not bothering you.”

“Why it should? They are just nobodies.”

“Still it’s really disrespectful! You’re are their future Queen.” He says.

“And I know I can kill them in a few seconds and without breaking a sweat. Maybe that help.” I reply.

“Why are they calling you the rejected princess?”

“Go to hell. It’s just a joke for you! As if you don’t know!” I say trying to get up but he stops me.

" I swear, I don’t know! Explain to me, please?” He pleads.

He looks sincere so I tell him my story. Everybody knows so I prefer he hears my version than a report one. In the end, he is very angry but like super pissed and I don’t know why.

“What an asshole! I’m going to kill him! How could he! After what’s happened!” He says his wolf surfacing.

“What’s happened?” I can’t help to ask.

“Nothing!” He growls.

“Calm down! He is not worth it.” I tell him touching his arm.

When he has finally cooled down, I ask him: ” What does it matter so much for you?”

“It’s complicated and I don’t want to talk about that.” He says closing in off.

“Are you here for anger problems?” I ask him.

“No.” He says before getting up and walking away.

“Okay... It was nice to speak to you.” I mutter.

Two days have passed and I didn’t see Tom again. I’m alone in the training ground when I feel his presence, in my back.

“Hello stranger, long time no see.” I tell him, not turning around to see him.

“Hey, Selina. Yes, I was... away.” He tells.

“Welcome back to hell then. You didn’t miss anything.” I reply.

“Thanks! Can I train with you?” He asks me.

“Sure, what do you want to do?”

“Fighting.” He replies.

I snort: ” Are you sure? I’m a Lycan even without any entrainment, I would beat you. And I’m well trained.”

“Yes, I’m sure!” He replies annoyed.

“And don’t hold you back.” He adds.

“As you wish but you fight back full force.”

He nods and takes a defensive position. Still with is suicidals ideas, I see. If it’s what he wants who I am to refuse. I love a good fight and it has been a while since I had one. My Lycan and I are very exciting at this perspective. Finally some fun!

We are fighting for more than a half-hour now and he is strong for a werewolf. He gave me a few bruises but it's nothing in comparison with how many bruises he has. He is a good fighter, a marvelous opponent. I really enjoy it. I hope he will turn in his wolf but he didn't yet. His skills in his human forms are really impressive, I have to say. It's like he has nothing to lose. I punch him in the abdomen and I hear 3 of his ribs breaking. He growls and I catch him before he falls.

"I'm sorry! So sorry!" I tell him.

"It's okay. I ask for it." He replies.

"We need to go to the doctor."

"No! Can we just go to my room."

The way he looks at me stops my protests.

"Fine but I will help you." I say and he nods.

He's seating on his bed while I'm taking care of his ribs.

"You're really a good fighter, in your human form." I tell him.

"Thanks."

"Where did you learn to fight like that?" I ask him.

" I used to be a street fighter. I stopped when it became too boring."

"This is really dangerous. Why did you do that?"
