Today is a great day! It’s a great day because we are organizing a party for my mommy and Meli let me help her! I can’t wait to see mommy and daddy. I miss them so much even if I have a great time with grandpa and uncle Dar. I heard grandpa said that daddy finally came to his senses. I hope so because I know how it’s painful for mommy that daddy doesn’t speak to her.

They are not my real parents but they love me as if I was their. I’m lucky to have them in my life. Mom tells me often how my biological parents loved me more than anything and how I made them happy but I don’t really remember them as I was 3 when they died. I don’t know either my real grandparents or family. Mom told me that my mother never knew her family and my father’s family never approved their mating. I wish I could have a cousin as I will never have a brother or sister. Auntie V is pregnant and I will have my first cousin in a few months but still, I wish I could have a cousin of my age. I saw Noah and his cousin Tom this morning. They didn’t even stay to play with me as they were having fun just the two of them. They were so close that made me feel jealous. I wish I could have that too...

“Bunny, let’s go home. We need to dress up for your mother.” Grandpa says.

“Yes! Let’s go.” I reply.

“Someone is eager to see his parents!” He says taking me in my arms.

Grandpa is really really strong but he is an Alpha so he has to be strong. He is also sweet as a teddy bear, with me at least. Uncle Dar said he’s sweet only with me and he can be really scary sometimes but I don’t believe him. My grandpa is the sweetest of the grandpas in the world!

I decided to wear mom’s favorite shirt (a blue on with a dinosaur) as I know it will make her happy.

“Wow, buddy! You look hot. Keep going like that in a few years, you will be able to get in any pants you want!” Uncle Dar tells me.

“Thanks! I think. What does that mean?” I ask.

“ It means your mother is going to kill him if she learned what he said.” Grandpa says slapping uncle Dar's head.

“You’re so dead if Lilly learned that!” Auntie V agrees with grandpa.

“Promise me you will not tell her. She is not cool. I’m sure your father would agree with me.”

“Darius!” Auntie V says slapping his shoulder in turn.

This time Grandpa and V join Uncle Dar and they all laugh.

“Go dress Darius or we’re going to be late.” Auntie V orders him.

“Everybody is ready? Veronica, Bella, Darius, Gaspard.” Grandpa calls for everyone.

I’m so exciting! I can’t wait to see then both. Veronica and Darius are the last to arrive and auntie is not looking happy.

Grandpa sighs and asks: “What did he do this time?”

“He doesn’t want me to come!” She replies.

“It could be dangerous and in your state, you should rest and avoid any danger.” Uncle Dar says.

“I’m pregnant! This is not an illness! I’m not in glass and I can defend myself!” She says annoyed.

“Let her be son, she is right.”

“Still it’s too dangerous. What’s happened if someone attacked us.”

We are here for 5 minutes now and they’re not there yet. What are they doing? I want to see them now!

Few second and they will be here. As soon as Meli reveals us I run towards them.

“Mommy! Daddy!”

Dad kneels and opens his arms for me with a big smile on his face.

“I miss you so much, cowboy!” He says hugging me.

“Grandpa said you will be living with us all the time now. Is that true?” I ask.

With daddy, we share a look and say at the same time: “Lilly’s sandwich!”

“And I!” says Uncle Alec.

“Me too!” Grandpa adds.

In seconds we suffocated in a big group hug and I love that.

“Enough! I love her and even more when she is breathing.” Dad says.

As Dad leaves to speak with Grandpa and mom is speaking with Uncle Dar and Auntie V, Noah runs towards me with his cousin.

“Hey, Duncan, Tom and I want to play football. Do you want to join?” He asks me.

“Sure!” I love playing football.

We have a lot of fun playing altogether. There are Hadrian and Elios - Constantinos’s sons, Patrick - Rose’s little brother, Nicolaï and Macha - prince Léopold’s son and daughter, who are playing with us. The older one is Patrick who is 10 and the younger one is Noah who is 4.

I see mommy and daddy coming towards us with people I’ve never seen before.

“Bunny, can we speak to you?” Mom asks.

I nod and walk towards them and the strangers.

“We have some people to introduce to you.” dad adds.

“I’ve already explained to you about my biological family and as I have a brother. Well, his family and he really want to meet you.”

“But uncle Dar said he’s an asshole.” I whisper only for them.

Dad starts to laugh but stop when mom glares at him.

“I’m going to kill him!” She mutters.

Dad says: “ Everybody can change so give them a chance to prove them. A real one because I know how you are with people who were mean with mommy.”

“ Sorry. He is right I need you to play nice with them. Okay?”

“Perfect.” She says.

She sighs and adds:” Duncan this is Aiden, his mate Elena and their son, Kaiden.”

“Hey Duncan, it’s nice to finally meet you. I heard so much about you. I know I mess up with your mother but I really want to fix it and I hope one day you will call me uncle.”

“Nice to meet you, Sir.” I say shyly.

“Hi Duncan, I’m your aunt Elena. It’s so nice to meet you. This our son Kaiden and we have a daughter Julia but she stayed with her grandparents. I hope-“

“Hi, I’m your cousin Kaiden. Sorry mom, but you were too long. For sure we will be great friends!”

“I know dad wanted to call me AJ for Aiden Junior but mom refused. So they called me Kaiden instead to compromise.”

“Kaiden! What are you doing here?” Tom says before hugging him.

“I came to meet my cousin.”

“Cool, I met mine too and he is great. Is that true your mom knows sirens?” Tom asks me.

“Yes, most of them are nice.”

“Awesome!!!” Tom and Kaiden say at the same time.

“Your daddy and your grandparents are here if you want to see them.” Kaiden tells him.

“Cool! Let’s go!” Tom says to Noah.

“So how old are you?” I ask him.

“ I’m 5. I turned 2 weeks ago. And you?”

“I’m 7. I will be 8 in 6 months.”

“Cool! Do you have other cousins?”

“Not yet and you?”

“I have 4 cousins but none as are cool as you!”

“Thank you. Do you want to play football before we start eating?”

“Great, I love football!”

“Me too!”

Kaiden is really cool. I’m so happy to have a cousin. We have a lot in common: the same favorite color, the same favorite team, after football our favorite sport is basketball. He hates broccoli and thinks that should be forbidden and he is so right. It tastes awful!

I told him I was a shifter and not a werewolf and he found it super cool that I can shift in anything I want. He wanted me to show him but I didn’t because mommy doesn’t like it when I shift in front of everyone so I will show him next time. When I told me that my auntie Alix can shift in dinosaurs and that I wish I could too, he was impressed and told me I have the coolest family in the world. I didn’t tell him about my healing gift because mommy and Daddy told me to be careful with who I share my secret.

“Kaiden, we have to go home.” Elena calls after him.

“Maybe another time and we have to ask his parents but I don’t know where they are. They disappeared.” Aiden says.

“They are here!” I say when I see them reappear.

I run towards them and I hear Kaiden following me.

“Mommy, daddy! Can Kaiden stay with me, please?”

“Fine.” I say defeat and feeling sad.

“What about next weekend? He can come to sleep at home.” Aiden says.

“Please mommy! Please daddy!” I beg.

“Fine, you can.” Mom says.

“Fine but it’s Kaiden who is coming to sleep at home. I miss you too much to spend another night without you.” Daddy says.

They both laugh.

“Really?” I ask with happy tears in my eyes.
