In his cell Rad had time to think about what happened time over time, as Kaydos putted his dirty foot on his mother’s back.

“My lord” Rad couldn’t believe what he just heard.

“Diana?”

“Yes it’s me my lord”

“Where are you? How did you escape?”

“I heard Kaydos talking with the guards about killing me, I took one of the personal spaceships and ran away before they manage to get me”

“No, you couldn’t… they saved their powers…they thought you are dead for sure…where are you now?”

“I’m near the fourth planet from the main star”

“Are there any allies inside the ship?”

“I don’t know but I think Kaydos must been very careful about whose the enemy and whose the ally…but I’m sure that can be some allies in there”

Diana’s words were emotional more than being reasonable, Rad know that Kaydos is not an amateur, he know that Kaydos has planned for this very well especially it’s puts his nick on the line.

There was silence for moments before Rad asked: do you have any plans?

“I wish that I can teleport to bring help but I can’t.

“We don’t have too much time to call for help but I want you to do something else” Said Rad firmly.

“What is it my lord?”

“I want you to let everyone to know about what happened”

Diana thought that Rad was out of his mind to ask for something like this.

“But my lord this way our enemies…”

Rad interrupted her with anger: just do what I said, okay?

Despite the distance that separated them and the fact that Rad can’t get out of the cell but Diana was shaking from fear.

“Yes my lord”

Thousands of thoughts was fighting in Rad’s mind, that desperate move he did was just like a gambling; Terra kingdom was the strongest and Rad had no competitor in the galaxy or its neighbors so everyone was afraid of him so either they will come to help wanting to earn Rad as an ally and have a word from him not invade their worlds or simply they will be allies with the new king Kaydos.

Meanwhile…

Kaydos was in the royal room when one of the army generals contacted with him through telepathy.

“Lord Kyados…sorry to bother you but there is an emergency that you must be aware of”

Kaydos headed to the meeting room never wanted to hear anything that ruin his mood.

The general were standing around the round table waiting for their new crowned king to arrive.

When Kaydos arrived he walked slowly in confidence toward his main chair and the generals around him.

“Have a seat” said kaydos after he sat down. “What’s wrong, people?” he said it like he was saying don’t ruin my day.

“My lord, earthling’s attacks are getting more intense in some areas as we don’t have any forces left in these areas” said one of the generals.

“Why, what happened that made them stronger?”

“I don’t think that they became stronger, I think the absence of Diana is the reason” said the general.

Kaydos become angry: idiots, I told you to bring the substitute.

“We did but he refused to corporate” said another general.

Kaydos’s face turned to red because of anger: how in the hell you let that happened? It’s just a weak woman. You useless.

Kaydos was cursing Rad being the main reason that they are here and being stuck in this situation right now. This invasion costed a lot and at least they must cover part of it costs and nothing does this better than slaves.

“That stupid dream…and he called it a vision…what a stupid kid” Kaydos whispered blaming Rad again for this trouble.

Kaydos tried to calm himself down trying to find a solution for this issue. The kingdom’s native soldiers are occupied by battles outside the galaxy and soldiers from the worlds that Terra has invaded are getting beating from the earthlings and the absence of the Diana the transporter means that the humans will have the upper hand sooner or later. Thinking in all this problems was preventing Kaydos from a proper celebration of his victory over Rad and the royal family.

“Listen” Kaydos looked at the generals before him before he said: I began to bribe all the resistance leaders on the planet a while ago and we promised them that we will provide a second home for them if they did well, keeping this promise or not is something else we will discuss later.

The generals were amazed at what he just said.

“Excuse me king Kaydos but this plan was clearly failed” said one of the generals.

Kaydos didn’t say anything back to him despite he knew that way the generals probably will be rude with him in the future but it didn’t matter for him as long as he controlled every decision maker in the kingdom by bribes and prizes.

“I have a suggestion” said one of the generals.

The heads turned to the speaker before he continued: the plan may take some time to make an impact…it’s better than killing our money as you know.

“It seems not everyone will be criticizing after all” said Kaydos to himself as he felt that the rope he putted around his neck was a little bit loosed.

“I agree with general Vapin” said another general. And this words was the spark for a massive argument inside the meeting room which is never happened before since Rad’s grandfather was in charge.

The generals were shouting and yelling despite their king attendance, but he didn’t had that power that everybody are afraid of.

“Gentlemen, silence please” said Kaydos furiously so they silenced.

“Maybe bribing resistance leaders will make an impact sometime later but anyway it have a good potential…but now we have bigger problems to deal with like the absence of a transporter” said Kaydos in a sarcastic way like he was saying: do not fight like a children.

“Looks like we miss calculated how fast humans can really evolve or their ability to get back to their barbaric behavior despite all our efforts to make them hate blood and wars” a general added.

Despite the situation was so dark but Kaydos the snake had another plans.
