When Rad saw his mother in chains and Kaydos dragging her behind him to her cell, the blood inside him was boiling, but nothing he could do end this.
“This bastard” said Rad talking to Diana.
“What is it?”
“Kaydos made sure that I see this”
“See what? What happened?”
“He putted my mother in chains and dragging her to the cell”
“This damn Kaydos…he is a mind games master”
“That’s way I’m here and you cast away. If this energy wall just disappear for a blink of an eye…I can’t take it see the ones I love get humiliated”
Diana remembered how Rad reacted when a king of a small kingdom talked down to her, despite they apologized times and times but Rad insisted to invade this kingdom after he burned the king to death in his palace.
“Did you heard anything?” said Rad.
“Not yet but I’m waiting”
There was nothing Rad could do inside this cell but wait.
Suddenly Kaydos appeared in front of him. “You are too old to teleport inside the ship… save your energy old man” said Rad
“I hope the cell is comfortable for you king Rad…or I should say the former king?”
“I will be comfortable if I could put my hands on your neck”
“I don’t mind…come on put your hands on me”
“What do you want, Kaydos?”
“Nothing…just a friendly talk”
“Kaydos…don’t play your mind games on me…you forgot who taught you that?”
“I owe your father a lot…but this is not the case”
“What do you mean?”
“I mean when this invasion is over your death will be announced...and the two kingdoms will be one… at that moment you will get to observe something that don’t happen every day”
“What is it?”
“Terra and Phoenix will burn to the ground…you and this idiot Manod will observe what you build with sweat and blood collapse…what a joy Rad, to see the ones you hate burn…just like you does”
Rad was amazed at Kaydos’s ability to make such a sinister complicated plans.
“You are an architect Kaydos…no… I mean you are the architect…but why you want to kill Manod and burn all of this empire instead being a lord? Is it because he is stronger than you?”
“Listen carefully Rad…I have nothing to lose”
“Nothing more dangerous than a man whom has nothing to lose…my father always used to say this” Rad thought.
There was silence for a moments before Kaydos said: he could betray me…just like I did with you.
Kaydos left Rad alone after this confession. “You heard this Diana?”
“Yes I did if we didn’t act fast things will be bad”
“This matter…I feel desperate”
“There is must be a way out”
“You have any ideas?”
“I can transport monsters from anywhere…like these monsters on earth but we can’t control them and I don’t really think that they will withstand the defensive systems on the ship”
“It doesn’t matter all what we want now is to occupy and annoy them”
Things were heading toward a big events and twists as Manod was listening to the conversation between Rad and Kaydos by his new ability that made him capable of see and listen through anyone he want no matter the distance or the race.
