North’s P.O.V

I woke the next morning to feeling cold, I slowly opened my eyes and looked to my side and saw Conny was gone, I sighed stared up at the ceiling, thinking about my new found favorite thing, food. I haven’t really eaten at all since I’ve been here, how am I not dying!!?? I pushed that thought aside and managed to push myself out of bed.

Right as I realized I had no clothes to change into, I spotted jeans and a simple blue shirt, not fully awake yet I just shrugged and walked over and yanked my old clothes off and changed quickly. I rubbed my eyes as I looked at the mirror, my dark hair was everywhere and I looked dead. I looked around the counter and saw all the necessary bathroom stuff.

Once again, still not fully awake so I simply shrugged and combed my hair and brushed my teeth, I sighed and looked back up at the mirror, at least I looked presentable. I tied my sneakers on and opened my door, hearing light voices from downstairs and smelling something amazing, “FOOD” my wolf screamed in my head, I smiled chuckled. I walked down the stairs, I started to get an uneasy feeling, the house was way too quiet for it to be a normal day. I was hesitant to go towards the smell of food, but my stomach disagreed with me on that.

I pushed the door to the kitchen open, I peeked my head in first and saw it completely empty, before I stepped in I made sure to look around the whole area. Right, when I placed one foot in I felt strong arms grab my upper arms and yank on them, starting to drag me somewhere. I let them, not feeling up to fighting, drag me with my feet dragging on the foot.

Their smell indicated they were Werewolves so why were they kidnapping me?, and why am I not more freaked out about this? I Looked up and said in a surprisingly calm voice, “Can I know where I’m being taken, or is that like against the rules of kidnapping?“.

Both looked down at me in surprise, then one mumbled to the other, “Why isn’t he freaking out?” the other one said with a hesitant shrug, “I don’t know, but it’s kind of scary” I smiled and said, “Well I was drugged and kidnapped before I got here so I guess the shock factor kind of rubbed off”.

Both nodded and said, “Sorry by the way, Alpha instructed we bring you” I nodded and said looking around, “it’s cool”. Both smiled and one shook his head, “I’m starting to like you kid” I shrugged and said, “I tend to be a likable person, ask Miah” Both laughed and one said, “Yeah”. I started to question why Connor wanted to see me, I mean there is such a thing as normal human interaction without kidnapping.

But I guess I didn’t mind, I stared at my feet as they dragged me along the floor to somewhere in this huge place. Soon they both stopped and one knocked on a door I think, I don’t know, my back is turned to them. “Come in,” I think Connor said, I’m still getting used to my advanced hearing.

I sighed as the door opened and I heard Connor ask wearing his normal RB face, “Did you get him?” one mumbled yes and then I was dragged into a very dark room, with the only source of light being candles, “Didn’t even put up a fight Alpha” they both let go of my arms and I stood up correctly and looked over the whole room.

Like I said before, the room was very dark with candles all around the room, on the ground was a woman in her late thirties, she looked to be meditating, maybe. She had darker skin and dreadlocks, she also had an insane-like look on her face, her lips were black and she had small black dots under her eyes and not to mention her nails.

But I recognized her sent, it was just like Conny’s just not as likable, she was a witch, then I remembered what Connor had said about a witch and my eyes went wide.

I looked over in the corner and saw Conny and Miah with disapproving looks on their faces, Conny smiled sadly when she saw me and Miah tried to give a comforting look, this meant the witch lady is gonna do voodoo shit on me!! I quickly turned on my heel and started for the door but I felt an arm grab me and turn me around.

“Not so fast North” Connor spoke as he held my shoulder tightly, “North, this is Nymeria, she is a--” I cut him off, “A witch” he nodded and said guiding me towards the carpet Nymeria was sitting on. I shook my head and shoved his hand off, “Nope, I don’t do voodoo or witches, I already have one as a potential girlfriend, don’t need more witches”.

“Potential girlfriend??” Conny said in a shocked voice from the corner, I sighed and said turning to her, “Well it’s like we like each other but we’re not a thing yet, ok?” she still looked confused, I shrugged and said waving her off, “I’ll go into detail later” she giggled which made me smile.

“Besides the point,” Connor said in a stern voice.

“North, please just sit down and let Nymeria help you” I looked over at Miah who nodded, I don’t fully trust Connor but I do Miah. I walked over to the carpet and sat down and crossed my legs. Nymeria’s eyes then opened to reveal glowing purple ones, she smiled at me, then looked up at Connor how nodded.

Then he spoke while she was looking at me, “Alright everyone, let’s leave” I saw Miah glare at Connor then stomp out, with a not happy looking Conny following after. Right as the door closed, Nymeria smiled at me, “Hello North” she spoke in a Jamaican accent. I nodded to her and said, “Hi?” unsure of what to say to her.

She then stood and started walking around me, looking me over. “You seem in good health” I nodded as she walked, then she stopped in front of me. “But there is something different about you”.

She then sat down again and

leaned forward, smiling.

“Shall we get started?”
