Marking someone was a great deal for a shifter, especially for the lycan, because it meant, you had chosen the person to spend the rest of your life with and for the lycan, you would only love one person.
“No way…” Raya gasped to see clearly the mark was the alpha’s. The higher that person was, the more your mark became very vivid to see and that was the case with Lilac right now.
Her mark was still fresh, but you would know immediately the person, who marked her was someone powerful and it could only happen if it was the alpha, knowing how the relationship between the two of them.
Raya had heard the rumor out there about the alpha and Lilac. But, she couldn’t believe a hundred percent on the rumor, yet at the same time, it was hard to believe for the alpha to finally settle down with someone, since they knew how Hunter had been with a lot of women.
In the end, Raya tried not to think of anything, because this was not her problem and she didn’t have a say in this matter. Who she was to say something about it?
But then…
“So, you are our luna now…” Raya muttered to herself. She couldn’t say that she was pleased, because maybe some part of her had the same thought like the rest of the pack member, when they assumed Lilac was only another woman in the alpha’s eyes and when the alpha was done with her, just like any other woman, she would be forgotten.
And with that, Raya ended up staying on guard by Lilac’s side for another three hours before she was awake groggily and was surprised to see her there.
“The alpha asked me to take care of you,” Raya said with a cheerful smile. “I will call the Hella, don’t move, okay?”
Not long Raya returned with Hella and after a few moment of examination and drank her medicine, Lilac fell asleep again, she looked exhausted and she was still not fully recovered from the mating and marking

“What?” Hella turned her b*dy when she heard Raya talked to her, she was about to leave the room and prepared something for Lilac when she woke up. The alpha had given her this strict task to focus only on Lilac’s health alone.
“Do you believe the alpha finally chose her as his mate? She is our luna now.” Though it was not official yet, but seeing that mark was enough.
“The fact is there. The alpha chose her, what else to say? She is our luna.” Hella shrugged her shoulders. She didn’t think much about it, more so, she didn’t interact with gossip and rumor. In her mind, no matter who was that person to be the luna, it would affect her so much.
Hearing that, Raya became silence again, she stared at Lilac and said nothing, while Hella did her job and left the two of them inside the room to return an hour later with her medicine.
On the other hand, Hunter actually made a trip to the dungeon to personally interrogate Kellan because Rye and Darren couldn’t get anything out of his mouth.
When the alpha was there, Kellan looked awful, there were a lot of wounds. that had not yet healed from the previous interrogation. He was bleeding and there was no amount of torture
that could make him speak.
“Hunter,” Kellan said in hoarse voice, as he spat blood.
Hunter stared at Kellan for a while, before he waved his hand to indicate the other people could leave this cell, as he wanted to have a private conversation with Kellan alone.
“Still not talking?” Hunter asked.
“What do you want to know?” Kellan scoffed, he mused with the fact Hunter finally came to see him by himself.
“Who were those lycan?” Hunter started his question with this. “As far as I know, we are the only lycan pack in this realm, who were they?”
Kellan grinned, showing his broken teeth. “I am not telling you, Hunter. Do you really think you will be able to coax me when all of your fellow friend couldn’t? You just learned how to walk when I was already in a battle. Even now, you are only a child in my eyes, along with your beta and gamma.”

“Have people learned about the fact that you killed your own father?” Kellan asked, he tilted his head. His wound started to heal, as a lycan, they healed faster than werewolf, therefore, you could imagine what kind of hellish he had to endure until now.
But then, he still refused to say anything about who helped her, or who he got those lycan.
On the other hand, Hunter crossed his arms over his chest and stared at him, letting him blabbered and mocked him, thinking he had won this.
“Do you think people will see you the same after what they learned about how you got this title?” Kellan was sure the member of the lycan pack would look down on him once they learned about this truth.
“Do you really think you will have enough time and source to tell other people about it? I can have your tongue cut and hanged you in public for treason. Choose your word well and make yourself useful, because I don’t keep a wasteful thing.”
However, Kellan was laughing at him instead when he heard that. “What did you say?” He chuckled and threw his head back. “Make myself useful? Hunter. You need to learn more lesson. If you wanted to keep this as a secret, at the very least, you shouldn’t use it to threaten alpha Aiden!”
This time, it was Hunter, who was smiling. “So, it’s Aiden, who had helped you.”
