75 A Turn of Events 

Alex, watching from the second floor, witnessed the unfolding drama with a mix of disbelief and dread. He saw Emma taking a sip from the champagne and Lillian’s smug satisfaction, not realizing the true nature of the scene.

“You orchestrated this, Lillian. Now, you must face the consequences. I won’t broadcast the video, but I’ll make sure your brother sees the kind of person you really are,” Emma declared, her voice tinged with disgust. 

Alex, witnessing the scene from afar, felt a mix of shock and helplessness. His attempt to warn Emma had inadvertently led to this drastic turnaround. Lillian’s malicious plan had backfired, and now she was the one vulnerable and helpless, caught in the web of her own making.
