It’s been few days Joshua moved out, Ethan and I left of our own but, it’s lonely you know but it’s not like that I hate him for that, it’s just happened so soon, fast I still couldn’t process the fact that he’s mated and he’s bound to move out eventually it was invited. It’s been me and Ethan now as much as I enjoy his company, his crawling habits becoming more hectic for me.

I haven’t seen much of Joshua, Roman or Jeremy for that matter, I have been busy myself but they are all different stories. Speaking of Roman when he got to know that Joshua was moving out he made a huge deal out of it, he was furious was an understatement he was so angry that he’s not on speaking terms with Joshua right now, he thinks he took a huge step without even considering his family and he’s just self centered bastard Romans words not mine.

I tried to reason with him that it was natural and it was bound to happen and it’s totally fine but, the thick headed brother of mine does not understand anything and thinks Eva, who is trying to break us apart, stupid.

But yesterday I had it and locked them both in one of the rooms in my house and made them talk much to their protest. They fought, understandably, resisted being talked to. Eventually, I got them both locked.

After one hour lots of shouting and kicking was heard but they got back to their senses and now back to their old self and bickering every chance they get.

Today is first day of weekend and for me I’m sitting in my study and grading the papers from the science test I took other day and as for Ethan he is mindlessly crawling on the floor in the study with me, it’s good that I laid a long carpet so he can play and do whatever he desire.

As I looked up for the grading paper to see what’s Ethan doing and saw him playing with one of the wire in his reach, I instantly got from my chair and ran towards him and picked him and scolded him “Ethan it’s not a play thing, it’s no no” my voice must be harsh because he started to cry, I started cooing him and saying soothing words to him “shhhh, it’s okay daddy sorry, but don’t play with wires okay” and swayed side to side which made him stop crying and he hid his face in crook of my neck, “well are you hungry, because daddy is” and went to kitchen to have some snack to eat.

I prepared a sandwich for me and fixed some juice for Ethan and handed him his cup and sat opposite him and we ate in silence, not like a six month old can hold a conversation. After we finished eating I put Ethan on the ground where his toys were and went back to grading paper.

You can say my day was uneventful.

It was Sunday and it was a pretty day but boring, I had nothing to do. Joshua is busy doing what he’s doing and Roman is performing his beta duty and as for Jeremy he disappeared from the face of earth. I laid on the couch and seeing some show on the TV and thinking about how your life changes to fine to miserable than again you start or at least try to move on, sometimes you find someone on your way who help you forget all the nightmares and those hideous memories of your past, and sometimes you have to move on alone for to give someone better future the way you promised, I glanced to see Ethan sleeping soundly and I smiled I’m moving on for him, just for him.

I haven’t seen many people this past day, actually this whole weekend and if I see them they are in rush or doing something which means something happening in the pack which I’m not aware of, I stood up and walked out and stood on my front porch and saw little commotion here and there and called out of Justin as he’s one of the pack member and one of the few people I befriended “hey Justin need some help” as he was lifting some boxes.

Justin looked up and smiled and said “nah all done, how are you by the way?”

“I’m all fine, what about you?” I asked back

“Nothing much, hey listen I gotta go I’ll catch up later” Justin said and left to go wherever he wants to be. We said our goodbyes as he left the spot and I was still standing on my spot.

I was about to head back inside when I see Ryan nearing with one of his friend with their book bags towards my direction; I turned to grace them and asked “it’s lovely see you there”

“Well back at you” Ryan said grinning while his friend whose name I guess Jace was looking a little uncomfortable.

“So may I ask the reason for your lovely presence” I asked with raised eyebrows.

“Well we want a place to study and as you can see the whole pack is in commotion and so I thought it would be good to come and ask you if we can study here for a few hours.” Ryan asked, scratching his neck with one hand and motioning around the pack with the other.

I raised my eyebrow and said “well what about your or well your friend’s house” basically I was just curious to know what’s happening in the pack because I’m just living under the rock all this time.

“You didn’t know?” Ryan asked in confusion.

“Know what” I asked back now, more confused than before.

“He’s coming back, my brother Logan,” Ryan explained to me.

I was surprised it would be an understatement and before I could proceed further what to say or ask I said “Wasn’t he coming next month?” confusion fully evident in my voice.

“Yeah change of plans” Ryan said and asked “can we have your house for our study place for just today because trust me it’s the only place that can offer peace right now”

Eager much I thought and said “yeah” pause “this way my majesty” and motioned with my hand to go ahead with little bow, he just chuckled and mumbled a thanks and went inside the house left me shell shocked that he is coming back, and that to week early I suppose, finally we are going to face him our Alpha, our new Alpha and with this my mind sped with all the new scenarios what and how.

But, most importantly why I was feeling all relieved, excited and nervous all together. Why his news of arrival made me feel all giddy inside like I want to do a happy dance and my wolf was another story.
