Chapter 72 

“Oh no, what’s wrong?” 

Alan didn’t answer. His pants were still around his ankles and his hands were at his sides. 

Damien looked out of depth as he turned to Ana for help. “What just happened?” 

“He thinks you are mad at him,” she informed softly. 

Damien grabbed Alan’s shoulder, bent down, turned him around, and pulled up his pants before drawing him into a hug. “Oh, Alan, I am not mad at you. I just got startled.” 

Alan continued to wail and sob. Snot went all over the place. His arms found their way around Damien’s neck but he was crying too hard to talk. Damien was heartbroken. He lifted Alan into his arms and stood up, passing by Ana and walking into the living room. 

When Ana got there, Damien was rocking Alan back and forth in his lap, whispering something into his ears. Alan was nodding. Damien kissed the top of his head and continued rocking him. Ana decided to give them a moment and went into the kitchen. 

A few minutes later, Damien and Alan wandered in. Alan wiped his nose across the sleeve of his shirt and sniffed. 

“Everything alright?” she asked Damien quietly. 

“Yeah.” 

He reached into the fridge, and pulled out the milk and a sippy cup. He filled and covered it before handing it to Alan. Alan leaned against her leg. wrapping his arm around his knees. He took the milk with his free hand and sucked at it for a few minutes. 

Ana couldn’t move with him attached to her like that, but she didn’t need to, so she remained rooted to her place. 

Damien started making coffee. She didn’t protest, because Damien looked too stressed out. She could guess that it was from accidentally making Alan 

cry. 

Alan let go of her leg and walked back into the room. Damien was on her in an instant. He wrapped his arms around her from the back and rested his forehead on her shoulder. She tilted her head so that her cheek rested against his head and ran her hand through his hair. 

“That sucked.” he mumbled into her neck. 

She frowned in dismay. She finally understood how much that had affected him. No one liked hearing their child cry, but knowing you were the one who caused it, intentionally or not, makes it so much worse. 

“He will be fine,” she assured. 

“And what about me?” 

“You’ll have nightmares for a while, but eventually, you’ll recover,” she teased. 

Ana felt him laugh against her and he lifted his head. 

“Why don’t you show him?” she suggested. 

“I thought that was what I was doing.” 

“No, Damien, I meant that you demonstrate how to do it. Let him see you pee.” 

Damien lifted a brow, clearly thinking the concept was insane. “That sounds wrong.” 

“That’s how boys learn, Damien. Why do you think I couldn’t teach Alan?” 

“Do you think it would scare him?” 

“Seeing your penis?” she giggled. 

Damien lifted her up so that she was sitting on the counter. “Don’t call it a penis,” he said, nudging her nose with his. 

“What should I call it then?” she asked. “A wiener?” 

“That sounds even worse. When you are talking to Alan, it’s fine. When you’re speaking to me, I want to hear you talk dirty.” He nudged her chin so that she was looking up and then kissed her throat. 

Ana wrapped her legs around his waist and pulled him closer to her. “Would you prefer if I say ‘dick“?” 

“Getting better.” 

“How about cock?” she whispered. 

Damien groaned and nipped at her collarbone. 

“Damien?” she whimpered. He hummed against her chest. “Do you happen to know when we are going to get some alone time?” 

He hummed again. Her head, which we had been leaning backward, shot up and she banged Damien in the head with her chin. 

“Ouch,” he grumbled. “Fuck!”

“What?” 

“When are we getting alone time?” she asked. 

Damien’s lips turned up into a devious smile. “Next weekend. My parents want to take Alan to the national park.” 

“Damien, that’s only for a few hours,” she whined. A trip to the national park was an all–day event, but she also wanted the night alone. Was she greedy? Yes. It was because Damien had made outlandish promises about what the experience would be like. 

Damien shook his head slowly. “They don’t want him to spend most of the time in the car. They reserved a hut at the national reserve so that they can enjoy the night. They will be gone from Saturday morning to Sunday evening. I was supposed to get permission from you.” 

“Really?” she asked excitedly. 

Damien started laughing. “I’ll take that as yes. It’s okay with you.” 

Ana squeezed her legs, wrapped her arms around his neck, and pushed her breast against his. Their teeth smacked into each other as they kissed, but neither cared. Ana laughed and pushed him away. She jumped down from the counter and went to fix them both coffee. 

By Sunday night, Alan had mastered the art of peeing while standing. Damien was patient with him, making Ana’s heart hurt with pride. Damien took her advice and took Alan to the washroom every time he went. Of course, Ana didn’t accompany them at those times./ 

Though she was personally acquainted with that part of his body, watching him pee was not exactly on top of the shows she wanted to see. 

On the other hand, Alan’s aim wasn’t the best, but he was getting better. It was partially because Damien had made a carnival tipping game out of it. 

“Where did you learn that from?” Ana asked, amazed. 

“My mom suggested it when I told her what we were doing.”
