Upon seeing the two children claiming responsibility for the mistake, Cynthia couldn’t help but laugh. “Now you both know how to take responsibility, but have you ever thought that even if Lukas is still just a child even though he’s very smart? Lukas opened his mouth, seemingly wanting to argue, but Cynthia continued to speak.
“I know you think you can call the police at any time, but what if they don’t arrive in time? How will you escape?” Cynthia asked seriously, looking at Lukas and Luna.
The two children lowered their heads.
