Cynthia had spent a full three years learning how to cook from Gordon, yet he had never tasted a single bite of her food.

Timothy nodded in acknowledgment. Just as he was about to leave, he was stopped by Colton again. “Also, look into the background of this Shelley family. See if the child has any connection to them.”
The perfect assistant would never question his boss‘ decisions, but swiftly complete all tasks at hand. Timothy subsequently glanced at the folder in his hands.
Inside the café, Lukas and Luna sat obediently beside Cynthia, eating their ice cream. However, Cynthia was having quite a headache.

Yoel affectionately pinched her nose and said, “I knew you guys didn’t come here just to see me. Unfortunately, the amusement park is already closed…”
“It’s celebrating its anniversary recently, so it’s open at night too.” Lukas held up his phone, allowing Yoel to get a clear look.
Left with no choice, Yoel resigned himself to saying, “Fine, both of your win. Let’s go!”
When Cynthia looked at him apologetically, she saw Yoel laughing heartily with a child in each of his arms. “We can always chat some other time. It’s more important to play with the little one first.”
This was the first time the two little ones visited the amusement park in Alenvista. As soon as they entered, they dragged Yoel excitedly to ride on the roller coaster, pirate ship, and other attractions.
