“Didn’t you have one before?” Cynthia looked at Elsa’s belly with confusion. Wishing that the child had never existed, the irritated Elsa glared at Cynthia. “Are you gloating that my child is gone? How can you take pleasure in my misfortune?”
Cynthia paused for a moment. She hadn’t expected Elsa to have lost her child, and even more surprisingly, the latter still had the mood to visit an amusement park despite what happened.

Yoel laughed instead. “Don’t worry, Mr. Zeller, we’ll definitely send you an invitation when we get married. We have to get going now. The child is about to wake up.”
With that, he quickly walked away with Cynthia, leaving Colton and Elsa behind.
“Colt?” Elsa glanced at Colton with a hint of nervousness. “Let’s go too.”
Watching the two leave hand in hand, Colton let out a deep hum.
As he arrived at Cynthia’s doorstep holding her hand, Yoel felt reluctant for the night to end. “This neighborhood is too small. Next time, let’s choose one with a farther entrance.”
Cynthia couldn’t help but burst into laughter. The innocent vibe that Yoel was exuding wasn’t lost upon her.
Yoel was extremely frustrated. In the past, I was a playboy that countless ladies coveted. Why did I suddenly turn into a love–sick puppy after meeting Cynthia? This is unlike me at all!
He looked at Cynthia with a serious expression. “May I hug you?”
“What?” Cynthia was caught off guard by the question when she suddenly found herself enveloped in a warm embrace.
I wonder what cologne Yoel is using. It has a rich and elegant fragrance, making it pleasant to smell.

She subconsciously touched her lips, only to realize that they had curled up into a smile all this while.
Early the next morning, Yoel arrived at the m entrance to pick up the two- little ones and Cynthia.
Cynthia was a bit surprised. “isn’t it still early?”
“As the children’s godfather, shouldn’t I arrive early? What if the godfather becomes their real father one day?” Yoel said enthusiastically.
Lukas and Luna ran over to Yoel the moment they saw him. They had learned that Yoel had become their godfather early in the morning and couldn’t be any more elated.

She turned around and glanced at Yoel with a gentle smile before cradling the flowers in her arms.
