Ignoring the throbbing pain in my head I open my eyes to see where I'm at. Last I remember I was in the cells talking to Avery. Then my dad showed up and hit me over the head.

My eyes finally adjust to the darkness and I see I'm outside in the woods. There are a few candles lit up on the ground and I'm tied down to a wooden weathered table. The full moon shines casting just enough light to see my surroundings.

"What the fuck is going on?" I pull on the ropes but it's no use because both my arms and legs are tied down.

"Calm down son Esme will be done soon." My dad says walking up beside me and making me frown.

"You piece of shit! where is Avery? what did you do to her?"

He laughs throwing his head back. "So concerned about the little slut. Was the sex really that good?"

"Disrespect my mate again and I will make sure your death is slow and painful Cylus. You are no longer my family and when I get free I will kill you, I promise you that."

He bends down so we're face to face. He ruffles my hair and I spit on him. It surprises him as I stare at him disgusted to call him my father. He stands up wiping my spit off.

Speaking of the she-devil a woman with long black hair and bright green eyes walks up. She stands beside Cylus nervously. He whispers something to hear and she smiles.

"Hello Kai I'm Anastasia. I'm so happy to be selected as your mate." she runs her hand along my arm and I try to yank it away.

"Don't fucking touch me!" I shout at her making her flinch.

Cylus wraps his arms around her waist pulling her back to him. "Don't worry about him sunshine I'll make sure he behaves." he kisses the top of her head and she blushes.

"Your disgusting Mom would be so ashamed of the man you became!"

"Don't speak about my mate!" he growls loudly making birds fly from the trees nearby.

I narrow my eyes at him. "Then don't speak about mine."

Groaning he yells for the witch who is still walking around lighting candles and throwing some weird powder around us in a circle. "Is it almost ready? we need to hurry."

The old lady with long white hair to the ground nods. "It's ready. I only need a sample of his blood to start."

Dad grabs my hand and I try to pull away but he's stronger than me. His claws elongate and he cuts the palm of my hand. The witch Esme puts a bowl under my hand as my dad squeezes my fist.

"Fuck! You asshole!! I'll kill you!" I threaten him but Cyclus ignores me and the witch smiles happy she got what she wanted as my blood fills the small bowl.

I'm nervous as Cylus stands on one side of me and Anastasia on the other. The witch Esme begins chanting in a foreign language I don't understand. As her chanting increases so does the wind. In a matter of seconds were surrounded by a dust-like tornado. Esme's voice is just a distant whisper now.

Dad grabs my hand excitedly. "This is it! We're going to be the strongest pack in the world!" he shouts excitedly over the loud wind.

I'm absolutely terrified as my body starts to spasm and the throbbing in my head is back. My arms and legs start twisting causing the ropes I was tied in to break and I fall off the table to the ground.

Cylus quickly grabs me holding me against his chest. His arm tight around my neck choking me. "Anastasia mark him now!" he shouts at her and she walks towards me slowly and seductively smiling.

"Till death do us part mate," she says leaning towards my neck but I kick her back making her stumble.

Anastasia growls and lunges for me but before she can reach me again a small brown wolf emerges. It jumps on her from behind digging into her shoulder. Anastasia screams as Raven Avery's wolf knocks her down and clamps down on her throat ending her life.

"No!" My dad shouts seeing Raven smiling with her mouth dripping blood.

"Avery!" I say and see Scott's large black wolf Tibet ripping the witch into pieces in the distance. The weird dust-like tornado around us disappears and I break out of my dad's hold and face him ready to end his life next.

Cylus backs away slowly holding up his hands to surrender. "Don't do this Kai I'm still your dad! I was just doing what was best for you and the pack!"

"Kill him!" Titan growls in my head.

Growling I shift into my large black wolf. Avery is on one side of me and Scott appears on the other. We all three stalk towards my dad who is looking around for help.

"No one's going to save you. I remember everything. You made me forget my mate, you killed my beta and you tried to force some slut to mark me! You deserve so much worse. Unfortunately, Titan wants your blood now."

"You would kill your father?" He mind links me and I snap at him.

"With a smile on my face."

He growls and shifts into his wolf Zeus. We circle each other both growling and snapping at the other. Scott is right next to a worried Avery so I knew she's safe. Two more wolves run up and I notice it's Lance and Kayla.

" I guess your friends will be here to witness your death. This is your last chance to back down." Cylus warns me.

'No this is just the beginning.' I growl and lunge for him.

I land on top of him but he kicks me off and I roll over and begin circling him again. We're both growling and snapping at each other. Cylus swipes at me with his claws but I jump back.

Both of us growing impatient lunge for each other. Cylus overpowers me knocking me on my back. He claws at my belly and I use my feet to roll us over so I'm on top of him. Despite the excruciating pain I sink my teeth between his neck and shoulder.

He keeps clawing at my belly trying to stop me but I keep a hold on him as more of his blood fills my mouth. His body starts to go limp underneath me and he starts thrashing trying to buck me off but I clamp down harder and dig my back claws into him.

Zeus his wolf whines and I hear his heart stop beating. Spitting out the blood I watch the light leave his eyes. Titan continues to stand over his corpse still growling making sure the piece of shit won't magically come back alive.

Avery saunters over burying her face in the crook of my neck. My stomach is slowly healing and Avery whines knowing I'm injured.

But the pain was worth it because Cylus is dead. My friends start howling and soon I can hear the whole pack joining them.

Shaking my head I look up at the full moon in the sky and start howling too. It's time for a new beginning one where I'm Alpha with Avery leading by my side.
