Meanwhile downstairs, the Diaz's were having the same awkward talk with Carlos. He sat through his dad telling him the same things Victoria was told before finally, he said "you can be with Victoria, just follow the rules". Carlo's nodded and walked off to go find Victoria. When he found her, she was in the backyard staring up at the sky as if she was deep in thought so he walked over and laid beside her on the soft grass. He smiled and said "my parents said "we could be together or whatever" and Victoria said "mines too...but that doesn't shake the biggest problem". Carlos said, "you're scared of training tomorrow huh? and Victoria sighed and said, "yes I am...what if I go crazy and get lost in another dimension again, or worse?". Carlos said "you knew where you were the whole time?" and Victoria sighed and said, "of course, I just pretend to be dumber than I really am because I want to enjoy being young, I don't wanna grow up too fast".

Carlos giggled and said, "might not be so bad now that I get to grow up with an amazing friend like you". Victoria blushed and said, "Stop being so sweet...you might get what you wish for". Carlos hugged her and said "bring it on" and Victoria smiled and said, "just you wait till tomorrow". After teasing each other a bit more, they went back inside where their parents told them it was time to go home for the day, so they hugged each other goodbye before going their separate ways with their parents. When Victoria got home, her mother prepared dinner and they ate. Afterward, she scurried up to her room and her mother wasn't far behind. Andrea walked into the room and said " I can tell you're nervous and I just want to tell you that everything's gonna be okay sweetie, I was nervous just like you are". Victoria said "how'd you get over it" and Andrea said, "well your father and his love helped me through it...I was very uncertain of myself back then but jay helped me realize I wasn't alone". 

Victoria said "so I should trust in my partner?" and Andrea said, "yes, If you don't it makes the training ultimately harder". Victoria sighed and said, "I'm still scared I could accidentally get lost again or hurt you and daddy". Andrea giggled and said "you won't hurt us, we fought an ancient demigod and his killer children and we're still alive...and if you go missing we will find you, it's that simple, I know you're scared but once you see what you're capable of, you'll start to get control". Victoria hugged her mother before saying "I want you and daddy to be there" and Andrea sighed and said, "we'll be there to an extent but this is something you and Carlos gotta it work out... you' powers are linked".

Victoria fake smiled and said "okay mom I will, before she smiled back and left the room. Victoria fell asleep that night thinking about what tomorrow would bring, but at least she knew she wouldn't be alone this time. The next morning, continued as usual, until after breakfast when the gods appeared and teleported the family to an arena in the celestial temple. When they arrived, Carlo's and his family were already there and they immediately walked over and joined them as Ariel came over. She said "greetings, my children and welcome to training" before pointing to an obstacle course. Ariel said, "Andrea and jay will run the obstacle course first and then Carlos and Victoria will run a less brutal version until we have brought out their powers and from there we will figure out which ones to separate".

Andrea sighed and said "you're gonna give me and jay PTSD again" and Ariel giggled and said, "it's for a good cause now get going". Andrea and jay walked over to the obstacle course and began to run it once, then twice, until they had traversed it 10 times before tiring out. After getting off, Maya teleported in and changed the obstacle course into a smaller but still challenging exercise and told Carlos and Victoria to get ready. After she said "go, they took off, failing nearly every obstacle which left them covered in whip cream from the pies that hit them in the face or the mud they fell in, which Andrea and jay had to try their hardest to keep from laughing. After going back to the starting line, Victoria and Carlos smiled at each other before going again which this time yielded many results. After going back to the starting line, both adolescents began to spin out of control, before,Maya quickly placed a forcefield around them.
