Chapter 52 

Ragnar heard her words. 

However, he still insisted on continuing with his rant. 

Then, he heard Josephine say, “Being held by him makes me sick!” 

Ragnar’s expression turned clear. 

The anger he exuded from head to toe also eased in an instant. 

Looking at Josephine who still had her head lowered, Ragnar ordered without hesitation, “Clean up the places where he touched. you!” 

Then, he turned around and left. 

The bathroom door slammed shut with a loud bang. 

Josephine could not say a word. 

She had no choice but to take a shower. 

However, this was the first time she had come to this condominium, and she was unfamiliar with it. She had no change of clothes. 

Therefore, she could only wear the evening dress she was wearing again after showering. 

Josephine then walked out of the bathroom.

However, Ragnar’s eyes clearly told her that he would not allow any refusal. Josephine suspected that he would change the clothes for her himself if she dared to refuse to change into his shirt.

Therefore, she could only do as Ragnar instructed, taking the black shirt he gave her to the bathroom and changing into it. 

A few minutes later, Ragnar raised his hand and knocked on the bathroom door. “What’s taking you so long? Are you changing your 

clothes inside or what?” 

“I’m coming out now,” Josephine replied. 

Josephine finally came out of the bathroom. 

Still, Josephine did not dare to look up at Ragnar at all, and she was blushing profusely. “Mr. Levine, can you help me find another pair of pants?” 

Josephine stood restlessly. 

She could feel Ragnar staring at her intently. Her face turned a little redder, and she began to fidget with her hands while her feet shuffled listlessly. 

Ragnar stared at Josephine all the while. 

Josephine’s figure was tall among women but also very slender. It was enough to make her stand out among women. 

The black shirt he gave her was big but not enough to cover her body entirely. 

She looked like a child wearing adult clothes. Because the shirt was not her size, a portion of her collarbone was still exposed even when she had buttoned the shirt all the way up. 

The shirt was also only long enough to cover the top of her thighs. 

Josephine’s skin was fair, and the black shirt set off her skin tone even more. Her beautiful, slender legs, which were moving listlessly and twisting together, fell into Ragnar’s sight. 

Agitation began to surge in Ragnar’s eyes. 

His mouth turned dry, and his Adam’s apple bobbed in his throat a few times. His voice was obviously hoarse as he asked, “Can you even fit in my pants?” 

Josephine was rendered speechless. 

“Then, what shall I do?” she wondered. 

She was dressed like this in a condominium with only this man and her occupying it. She did not feel safe at all. 

“Then, how about going straight home?” 

She thought it would be better to return to the mansion with Ragnar. 

Ragnar frowned in response. 

He looked at Josephine with raging eyes, thinking he did not want anyone else to see her in this state of almost undress. Ragnar brought Josephine to this condominium because it was the nearest. He just wanted Josephine to clean herself up.

He would ask someone to buy the clothes suitable for Josephine and have them deliver them to the condominium early the following day.

“I’ve already told the driver to go to the Lambert residence to pick up Grandma,” he said to Josephine hoarsely.

After a slight pause, he added, “I also called Grandma and told her that we had already left the Lambert residence and will not return to the mansion tonight.” 

Josephine replied with a simple, “Okay” 

It was really uncomfortable to be stared at by Ragnar’s eyes. “Are you hungry? Do you have any ingredients here? I can cook something for you if you want,” she asked him. 

With that said, Josephine quickly trotted toward the kitchen as if she was fleeing. 

To her dismay, there was nothing in the kitchen. 

She opened the refrigerator and found that it was empty. 

Ragnar had already followed her to the kitchen. His gaze naturally fell on Josephine as he said, “I don’t come here very often.” 

After a slight pause, he added, “I’m also not hungry.” 

He strongly wanted to devour something, but it was not food.

Since she could not cook, she had to return to the bedroom. 

She figured she would not feel so awkward if she could lie in bed and cover herself with the duvet.

Josephine was nervous. 

She stood there while trembling slightly.

skin. 

His gaze was fixed on Josephine’s figure as if wanting to bore a hole in her body.
