Yennefer opened the door and went into the house. The moment Samantha saw her, she started spouting mean and awful things. “I thought you were going to move out. Why did you come back?” 

“Be polite, Aunt Samantha.” Josephine disliked Samantha’s tone. 

She knew that Samantha would start insulting Yennefer. 

Samantha was stunned. 

She didn’t expect that Josephine, who was typically weak and gentle, would start talking back to her. 

However, Samantha was never one to back down from a fight. She cast a mocking glance in Josephine’s direction before speaking up. “Oh? Do you think you’re invincible now that the Levine family is backing you up?” 

She continued, “You’re just a housekeeper to them. What’s there to be proud of? Don’t think that you’re a member of the Levine family just because you became their housekeeper.”

However, she would never allow Samantha to insult Josephine.

Samantha was so furious that her face turned maroon. 

No one had ever dared to say such things to her before. 

“Am I wrong?” Yennefer asked in response. 

Samantha had always caused trouble for Yennefer in the past. The latter never bothered to deal with her, seeing as Jonathan was nice to her. 

Now that Yennefer was about to divorce Jonathan, there was no need for her to continue tolerating Samantha. 

She had had enough of Samantha, anyway. 

Josephine, who was standing beside Yennefer, smiled.

Upon hearing this, Josephine stopped in her tracks before turning around to glare at Samantha. “Who are you trying to blame here? You don’t know who the infertile one is here.” 

Yennefer was in good health and had no problems at all. 

It was probably Jonathan’s problem that led to her inability to conceive. 

After Josephine was done speaking, she and Yennefer entered the bedroom and started packing the latter’s things. 

“You…!” Samantha was so furious that her hands were trembling. She pulled out her phone and called Jonathan’s number. “Jonathan, that shameless shrew, Yennefer, brought Josephine home! Not only did they beat me up, but they also said mean things about me! Hurry up and come home! Otherwise, they might beat me to death!” 

When Jonathan heard Samantha’s words from the other end of the line, he ditched his work and drove home immediately.

Now that Josephine was no longer staying under someone else’s roof, there was no need for her to tolerate Samantha’s antics.

After that, the door swung open, revealing Jonathan standing at the doorway. 

The moment he saw Yennefer, a look of delight and surprise appeared on his face. However, when he noticed the suitcase behind her, the smile vanished from his face instantly. 

A look of disappointment took over his face at that moment. “You’re back, Yenny. Where are you going this time?” 

Jonathan didn’t want to believe that Yennefer would really divorce him. Was she going on another business trip? 

When Yennefer saw that man, her heart wrenched in pain. 

She replied coldly, “Jonathan, I’ll mail you the divorce agreement later.” 

“No!” Jonathan reached out to snatch the suitcase from Yennefer’s hands. “I won’t get a divorce!”

He had already lollowed her orders by planning to have a child with Winnie. Once it was done, he’d pay her off with a sum of money. He truly loved Yennefer, after all. 

The reason why he slept with his secretary was due to Samantha’s eagerness to have a grandchild. 

“In any case, even if you don’t divorce her, I still refuse to let her stay in this house!” 

Jonathan exclaimed, “Mom, are you trying to drive me crazy?” As he spoke, he shoved Samantha into a room before locking her up and refusing her 

exit. 

Jonathan pretended to not hear Samantha no matter how much she cursed. 

He walked to Yennefer with the intention to take her hand, but she retracted it from him. 

“Jonathan, don’t make me look down on you! I want us to part ways on good terms!” Yennefer didn’t even spare him a glance. 

She was already very disappointed in this man. 

“Not I won’t ever divorce you!”

I love you, Yenny. I can’t live without you.” Jonathan gazed into Yenneler’s eyes deeply. “You know how much my mom has been forcing me, so 1 ended up doing something that made you disappointed in me.”
