When Vanessa saw this, she was so angry that she immediately stepped forward and pulled Johann’s hand back. She said, “Johann, she’s just a designer

I hired. She’s going to help me adjust my dress today.”

Hearing this, Johann was disappointed and angry.

“How can you treat her like this? She’s your cousin. Edith, don’t take these things with you. Go get changed and attend the banquet.”

Johann was stunned and realized that he was so cruel.

“Why is she dressed like this? Is she here to work or to attend the wedding? Who’s the other woman?”

Everyone had different opinions as if they were watching a good show.

Edith was not afraid at all. She didn’t do anything wrong, nor was she the one who would be laughed at.

Seeing that the rumors were about to go out of control, Johann’s parents immediately glared at Glenn. After all, the Davis family was much richer and more powerful than the Meyer family.

Glenn was vexed. He immediately stepped forward and pulled Edith away sternly. Johann was worried that Edith would be accused, so he wanted to follow her, but he was stopped by Vanessa.

Johann’s parents also stepped forward and scolded him.

“B****d, you’re going to marry Vanessa today, not that bane. Just stay by Vanessa’s side and don’t even think about going anywhere else.”
