She refused their money offering before, but now she asked for 90 thousand dollars. Although 90 thousand dollars was nothing to James, he still felt a little uncomfortable.

hall now.”

Nadia could not imagine that this car belonged to the handsome man in front of her. 

She always felt that this car was a bit out of place for the handsome man in front of her. 

The two of them arrived at the city hall casually. 

At the marriage registration office, Nadia reminded, “Mr. Howe, have you thought this through? Marriage is a serious thing, and it’s not too late for you to back out now.”

There were just a few groups about work on his WhatsApp. He rarely spoke in those groups. When he had any arrangements, he always had his assistant arrange them. 

Nadia frowned. This was the 21st century and there were still people who didn’t use WhatsApp. What kind of person was James anyway?

“I borrowed the money from you. On the 15th of every month from now on, I’ll pay you back this money in installments.” 

She did not want to owe him.

Her husband did not know that Elena spent all day at home doing laundry, cooking, cleaning, and taking care of their kid. Her figure had become out of shape and she had to take care of the family. But in the end, she fell into such a situation. 

Nadia did not want to be inferior at home like Elena. 

“Let’s just split our expenses.” 

James frowned. He had not seen that the woman in front of him was quite dignified, actually wanting to split their expenses with him after their marriage. Was she afraid that he would not be able to afford to support her? 

“We don’t need to split our expenses. Since I married you as my wife, I can afford to support you.” He balked at Nadia’s request.

Nadia smiled. She knew that men needed to maintain their image of being able to make money in front of their women, so she let him have this. 

Didn’t he just say that they needed to buy some things for the house? When she went to buy them, she could buy them with her money without going to him for reimbursement.

Watching the woman leave in the cab, James directly got down from the Chevrolet Sail car and patted the dust on his body. After that, he waved toward the entrance of the alley in front of him. 

Instantly, a dozen Rolls–Royces drove out from inside the alley and parked in front of the city hall.
