“He won’t be living here. He has a huge ass castle he needs to live in.” I paused when I heard Zane growl. I held up my hand. “Did you forget what I said about his strength? I know you’re worried he will get hurt, but he will be okay and one of the other children will be going with him.”

“What?!” Summer yelled as she stood up and came around the desk.

Moon Goddess’s POV

“Uh, I think Windy will be growing up quicker than we thought. Another royal Beta will be one of his sister’s. The wolf needs to pick which…” I trailed off when we heard a scream.

I guess the wolf had picked his human. I know that scream anywhere. I teleported to her and knelt down as soon as I pulled myself out of the crater I caused. She was shifting for the first time. She kept screaming as each bone broke and formed to her wolf. I hated seeing her in pain, but she will understand why it hurt as soon as her wolf talks to her. I cooed at her and we helped her through her change.

“What's up, Windy?”

“Who are you?” I heard Windy ask as she laid on her stomach and got her breath back.

“I’m your wolf, Star. Nice to meet you. Now, get the hell up and let me stretch my legs,” Star scolded, helping my granddaughter get up and walk around.

After watching Windy walk around for a while I called her back. I knew my sons and my daughter were going to be upset, but they would need to get over it.

“Shift, Star,” I gently told her. She shook her head no, thinking she would be naked. “You will shift with your clothes on. You’re a royal Beta. Just think of yourself-”

“my wolf told me,” Windy told me as soon as she shifted back into her skin side.

Windy looked at me and then her parents, a question on her face. “Uh, why am I so tall and look as if I had a growth spurt in thirty-minutes?” Windy looked down her shirt and lifted her face at me quickly. “I have breasts!” She yelled as her cheeks flushed pink.

I busted out laughing, Summer and her mates joining me. “Let’s head back to the office, so I can explain what’s going on, shall we?” I asked as Windy nodded her head.

As soon as we walked into the office Windy turned towards me, her arms crossed, her head cocked to the side. “Someone needs to let me know what is going on.”

“Have a seat, Windy, you’re going to need it,” I told her as she sat on the couch, her parents sitting next to her. “You are the royal Beta. You will go with Sonny to his castle with his mate. You’ve studied to become an Alpha or a Beta, correct?” I paused as she nodded her head. “Your wolf picked you as her human. My Royal wolves pick their human, not me. You will be stronger than any other wolf except the Royal Alpha. Plus, you will need to help him with the supernatural species. Star, your wolf, has been a Beta all her life. She’s learned how to be sneaky, how to get information no one else could. She will help you. And, your age is around twenty-four or twenty-five. How old do you think you are. Your wolf will let you know.”

Windy was quiet for a while. I could hear her wolf talking to her and knew she would know soon. I didn’t want to push her. This was a lot to take in. She’s aged five or ten years. I knew she would be okay. I only hoped she found her mate soon.

“Uh, Star, my wolf, told me I’m twenty-four-years old,” she explained as she got paler and paler. “Oh, crap.”

Summer stood up and caught Windy, cradling her in her lap, her mates sitting around her.

“Mom, why would you do this to her?” Summer asked as a wolf Windy’s wolf, Star. separated from Windy and growled at Summer.

Summer, Zane, and Blaine scooted back and bowed their heads. I heard her speaking. “You will not disrespect the Moon Goddess, nor will you question me,” Star growled out as she bowed to me.

“Star, those are your human parents. They are worried about Windy passing out. Plus, Summer is my daughter,” I explained to her, knowing she would be embarrassed.

“I am sorry. I was only protecting my skin side. I hope you can accept my apology. And, my human is perfectly fine. She was worried more about what you think,” Star expressed her apology.

“No harm was done, Star,” Zane answered as he leaned his head on his desk.

I watched as Windy came to and looked around. “Well, okay then. I’m a Royal, well, my wolf is. She explained why I was needed but I can’t tell you why. Grandma, Star said I could use my visions to help us, is this correct?”

I nodded my head. “Your wolf is correct. No longer do you need to keep your precognition to yourself. They will be bad at first, but they will get better if you meditate daily, okay?”

She smiled at me, a look of pure relief on her face. “Yay! We, my wolf and I, can finally use our gift to help out!” Windy shouted out as she danced around the office.

I watched as Summer’s head tilted back, laughing at her daughter, her mates right behind her.

“I’m perfectly fine, Dad. I’m very happy to be an adult. I already felt as if I should have been older. But, I didn’t think I would grow up to the age my body thought it should be,” Windy answered with a big grin on her face.

“This is going to take a little bit of time for us to get used to your size and your age. But, we will be with you. We will support you with whatever endeavors you go through, okay?” Blaine explained as he walked over to hug her.

Windy smiled at her family. “Woo-hoo, I’m an adult now.”

Summer, Blaine, Zane, and I shook our head as her craziness and chuckled. I was so happy to see her okay with what was going on with her. I knew it was a shock to her, but she needed to be an adult to help in this supernatural war. The Bruja and the skinwalker were going to oppose the King, not wanting to have a King who would stop their craziness. They didn’t want a King because of their illegal activities. They knew the King could order them to stop and they wouldn’t have a choice. With Sonny being the King of the supernaturals, all of them, they would have to stop at his command.

Yeah, they would love that.
