I Love You More Cade by Coral Hume ( Nydia and Jackson) Chapter 51

Chapter 51

Cade remained unmoved. Nydia, unwilling to give up, licked his neck, the cool and tender sensation awakening his desire. He was on the verge of losing control. Finally, his breath became erratic, and he pressed her against the window, his lips pressing down against hers without hesitation, his hands reaching into her gown.

Nydia knew what was waiting for her. Feeling pain in her body, she urged Cade, “Not here, please. The open view made it easy for others to see them, after all.

Cade fixed his eyes on her and stated in a hoarse voice, “You brought this upon yourself.”

Nydia knew further words were futile, only hoping Cade wouldn’t make too much noise, as she didn’t enjoy being watched while having sex.

Just as he was about to unbutton his pants, a sudden scream outside interrupted them. “Oh my! Josephine! Can anybody help?”

Cade’s actions abruptly halted. Nydia opened her eyes to see Cade hastily fixing his clothes and swiftly leaving. She followed him until he disappeared into the end of the corridor and reappeared moments later on the lawn, rushing toward Josephine.

A cold wind blew, shattering the passionate kisses moments ago. The noise of the crowd heading toward Josephine filled Nydia with extreme irritation. She tried to stay calm but ended up consumed by anger, her eyes turning bloodshot. “Why does that woman always cause trouble for me? Why does he always abandon me every time she appears? Why? His wife is me!‘ she yelled inwardly.

Nydia lost her composure, running tricks Josephine would play this time.

Josephine fainted on the ground. While waiting for the ambulance, Cade held her in his arms, gently shaking her shoulders, calling her name softly. His eyes filled with pain. He solely focused on Josephine, even ignoring Orsen’s voice.

The onlookers watched the scene with varied expressions, and when their gazes landed on Nydia, she could tell they were full of mockery and disdain.

Nydia, ignoring the onlookers, fixed her gaze on Josephine and sarcastically remarked, “Miss Brooks, everyone’s here. You can wake up now.”

As Josephine’s hand twitched, Cade glared at Nydia, warning her to be silent. Nydia, seemingly affected by the word “wife,” held onto Cade’s arm, insisting, “If she’s sick, her

family will take care of her. You don’t need to worry.”

This behavior was uncharacteristic of Nydia. Cade was momentarily surprised, but soon his expression darkened. “Let go,” he uttered coldly.

Nydia sensed his imminent outburst of anger but persisted, “No way!” Her eyes were bloodshot with defiance.

At that time, Josephine slowly regained consciousness and began crying pitifully, pleading, “Cade, don’t leave me, I can’t live without you.”

Nydia sneered. “Done pretending, huh?”

“Nydia!” Cade called out through gritted teeth.

Despite his harsh tone, Nydia refused to let go, asking, “Can’t you tell she’s doing this on purpose?”

“No… Cade… I…” Josephine stuttered and then fainted again.

“Here comes the ambulance!” someone shouted.

Cade, focused on Josephine, lifted her to leave, while Nydia desperately held onto his arm, tears streaming down her face as she pleaded, “Don’t go!”

Cade, running out of patience, forcefully pushed Nydia away and hurriedly left with Josephine. Nydia, unable to steady herself, stumbled and knocked over a table of red wine, drenching herself from head to toe in the crimson liquid. The shattered glasses on the table prompted others to step back, avoiding the mess.

Sitting on the ground, Nydia was a pitiful sight.

“Nydia!” Orson rushed over, instructing the guards to help her up.

Nydia, with assistance, stood up, wiping off the tears and wine on her face.

“Are you okay, Nydia? Do you need me to call you a doctor?” Orson asked, worried.

Nydia calmly replied, “I’m fine.”

Today, her husband, Cade, pushed her to the ground and left with his mistress in public, which was extremely humiliating. Nydia, who had already been looked down. upon by the rich people in Creekheim, could see her pathetic future.

Orson was visibly concerned, promising solemnly that the events of the night would

not be leaked.

Thank you, Orson. No worries. I’m fine,” Nydia said with a smile. “I’m used to it.” She then excused herself and left without looking back.

Orson watched her disappear into the night, his expression darkening as he ordered the guards, “Bring Cade to the Jackson Mansion!”

Yes, sir!”

The night wind in Creekheim was icy, making Nydia’s wet clothes freeze quickly. However, she seemed oblivious to the cold, walking calmly toward her car.

“Mrs. Jackson!” a voice called out to her, and she turned to see Edda smiling at her.

“What’s wrong?” Nydia asked.

Edda handed Nydia her coat, apologizing, “I’m sorry for what happened tonight.”

Upon seeing Nydia’s appearance, Dara was startled. “Mrs. Jackson, what happened to you?”

Nydia didn’t respond. She went upstairs and took a bath. Her icy body was drenched with hot water, her skin turning red. A tingling pain swept over her, causing her to burst into tears. She closed her eyes and sank to the bottom of the bathtub until her whole
