I was awake and watched Jax at work.

"She started out with this is Jax of Biker News coming to you live from the Diamond MC. I was invited to here to get this news out to find the shooter of the VP, Gunners woman."

" As you see behind me this beautiful woman was shot outside the clubhouse two weeks ago. She was in a coma and just died. But, not only did Gunner lose his woman but his child."

" That's right you heard me. Shawn, Gunners woman was pregnant. If you have any information regarding this shooting please contact Rage, president of the Diamond MC, and brother of Shawn."

" For those who are close friends of the Diamon MC Shawn's funeral will in two days."

We practiced with closing the casket so that we could make sure her body would fall to the box under it. It worked perfectly however Gunner said.

"I have to make sure her body is not in the casket before we take it out of the door."

We had everything ready. doc will give me the shot one hour before the funeral that way people can walk by and look at me and by the time the casket is closed, I start to wake up.

We practiced it and practiced it accept that I was awake for it. We had it down to the minute. That they gave me time to be ready to attend the funeral. Several club members stated that they did not like seeing me in that casket but understood the need to pull this charade off.

Everyone was ready for the best performance they would ever have to do. And if Karan showed up Shadow would keep her from looking too closely at Shawn's chest.

That night I lay next to Gunner with my head on his chest.

"Are you worried about tomorrow he asked?"

" No," I sighed.

"I just want this to be over. So after the funeral, I will be taken to the cabin and you will ride your bike out of the compound because you need to get away and grieve."

" But instead, I said looking down at her. I plan on going to the cabin and make love to you and hold you in my arms for as long as we can before that bitch decides to show up."

"I have an idea. When she does come, you wear the wig and ride to the clubhouse as if you are my new girlfriend."

" I have a better one. You take a day to find out what she wants and then if she doesn't try to get you in a day we wait until she starts dropping hints and then you tell her you have to leave come to get me and we will shock the fucking shit out of her."

" I like that idea too."

" Seeing you walk in with my arm around you. Then you can beat the shit out of that bitch."

" We see how things go" I said.

"I still think she will be shocked to learn you are not dead. We can always tell her that you are an identical twin of yourself."

I laughed and said. "I like that idea."

" Or we could tell her she killed my twin sister."

" That would be funny."

I leaned down and kissed her.

"I love you and our baby. I can't go through that again."
