Chapter 59: The Day Of The Funeral

Everything was ready. I was made up and put into a black dress. I was given the shot and then put in the casket. Rage walked into the room and said.

"Karan is not here but her brother is."

" Maybe he is going to see for himself if you are dead."

" I'm getting sleepy so let's get this show started and I was out."

We closed the casket lid and rolled the casket out to the bar and put it in front of the bar and lifted the lid. I sat down next to

"Shadow and Rage stood up next to the casket and started to talk about how Shawn cared for the club members and was looking forward to having a baby. Then several other members talked about the nice things Shawn had done for them."

Soon everyone walked by the casket looking at Shawn. Karan's brother took one look at Shawn and saw how beautiful she looked and understood the members need to find her killer and punish them for taking her life and her unborn child.

After everyone had walked out to give Rage, Shadow, and Gunner a few more minutes alone with her before moving the casket out to put it in the hearse.

I was wide awake and they lifted me out of the casket. I was helped into the wig and it hung down my back. You could not even tell it was me. I looked like a family member.

They called some of the club members and women in so that I could walk out with them unnoticed. I was helped into the car with Rage, Gunner, and Shadow.

I heard Karan's brother ask "who I was."

"Club members stated that I was related to Shawn and Rage. A cousin."

" He accepted that answer and said. That's why she looks a bit like Shawn."

" Yes, it is."

I was assisted out of the car by Shadow and Gunner and walked up and sat in the front row with them. Jax continued to video the funeral so that it was watched by thousands of MC Clubs. If only Gunner could hear how many of those MC members stated how beautiful Shawn looked and when she was alive she must have been a joy to be around.

What those members did not know was that their president knew that Shawn was not dead. She was put into a medical deep sleep to appear dead. They will explain the plan was done to draw out her killer.

They also did not know that Karan's brother was hiding her because he knew what she had done. He knew they would kill her if they got their hands on her. And he did go to the funeral to see for himself that she was indeed dead.

"He was going to let her know that she was dead and then she had to go."

He did not want a war with Rage's MC. After the funeral, everyone went back to the Diamond MC but Karan's brother. He left the cemetery with the picture he had taken of Shawn in the casket to show his sister.

In his heart, he knew what she thought would happen. She would go back to the Diamond MC and pretend that she had been out of town and just heard that Shawn had been shot and died when she turned the news on and saw the funeral.

She would act like she was there to help Gunner grieve over the loss of his woman and child and try to get him to trust her and then claim her in his grief.

But seeing the love and grief for his woman he knew that Karan was wasting her time and that he would throw her out the door on her ass. Unless she gave herself away and they knew she had killed Shawn.

I decided on the way back to my club that if they found out she killed Shawn or helped in any way he was going to let her face the consequences. She had caused enough trouble and no longer could deal with her behavior. He was not going to put his MC in danger.
