Legends of Kepler: The Dragon & The Woman
CHAPTER VIII: HEART OF THE KING (3)

From the central cathedral, Amalia watched the sign of fire from her window. in her window. She had been up all night. Immediately, she proceeds to woke up each and every one of her neighbors, friends, and allies. All the preparation that had been carried out the past five cycles was being put into test. The day had arrived, and there were no escapes. The only way out was found in the fight, in the victory.

The brave sorceress then, went to the great central square. She climbed up to the top of the tower of the golden bell, and at the highest point of the entire town, the central bell rang out and confirmed the warning coming from the fire bell. In this way, the war was announced in the region. Just as they planned it. sᴇaʀᴄh thᴇ FindNøvᴇl.nᴇt website on Gøøglᴇ to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

The barbarians were overly armed. With the agitated footsteps of the attackers, Anaís’ fertile soil was receding, and the land trembled. Sending with it a bitter sense of hatred, heaviness, anger and evil; the town was seriously in danger.

The leader in battle began to descend the stairs of the fiery tower of fire, while shouting at his archers with unstoppable fervor to attack the bursts of shield men; on the ground, he yelled to go deeper into the front zone of the battle, the first and the only defense of the people, and wait patiently for the clash.

Amalia began to shelter all the homemakers, children and women in the big shelters and defense houses. The evil was every moment closer to them. The town drowned in fear, and the decision to take refuge was inescapable. The terror was visible in their eyes, but here their beautiful leader welcomed them, and filled them with good hopes.

Argôn had already reached the front battle zone, reaffirming all the soldiers in their positions, with their golden flags; their silver armor. The amount of spears seemed unlimited. The riders were lined up. The hearts of the warriors came out of their breasts. They were nervous, paralyzed; watching the infinity of wild barbarians brutally coming towards them. The battle seemed already lost.

“Here we are, as brothers” exclaims The General. “As unified blood. Here we are, as children of the sky. Children of the rising sun. It is our task, to face and defeat this evil; for life has chosen us. And if we ́ve been chosen, it is because we are ready. Ready to see the face of glory! We will rise and we will win! We will free our nation, and we will all witness it shine once again; erasing the infernal fear that paralyses it now. Brothers, we are so much stronger. We are brave. We are worthy. We are family. And even if we have to shed our blood and leave our souls in this field, we will do so! For our family, for our children, for our crops! We will defend ourselves! It won ́t be easy for them! I will not allow it, and you will not allow it either. I want to see your heads up to the highest, Sons of Anais! To the people and for the people! Attack!

The front lines of the barbarians were finally at the head of the defending ranks of the warriors. Exchanges of cuts and lethal blows intervened in all men; spilling their honor over the greenish meadow. It was the blood for the people. Blood for the homeland. The battle was cold and rough. The red flags of the barbarians fell. Just as the celestial gold flagged spears did, and everywhere else of the emblems worked in copper and bronze in the lands, belonging to the army of The Sons of Salvation. The war, had begun.

“Aim, and shoot!” said the sorceress.

She was with a set of archers that were positioned behind the ultimate line of defense, at the top of the wooden barrier. While the warriors held them at the entrance of the village barrier, the archers attacked in the elevating distance. And inside the great tower of fire, the best archers attacked equally from the top of the place. But they were too many, and were damaging already the fabricated barrier.

The General saw the situation from afar, but at that distance, the barbarian agglomeration did not allow him to pass. Amalia then, descended from the top of the barrier. She got to the barracks, put on her armor and entered the battlefield. She went to cover the east side, where a big group of barbarians were. She emanated from her hands a green energy, which attacked and removed the big enemies.

She held a fine sword, and defended herself against the attacks with it. Her fists were surrounded by fire, and she directed her powers to the barbarians’ in their weak heels and legs, knocking them down.

She quickly dismantled the group of barbarians, but many others began to fall on her.

“Keep going to the Colonel Area!” she exclaimed. “Look for him! Support him! Don’t leave him alone! We do not know where he is.”

The sorceress continued to defend herself as she could, emanating from her palms bursts of yellow and purple lights that pushed the barbarians off; they felt the strikes as if it were a great blow from a giant block of steel. Suddenly, the woman was cornered. Within the circle, she bent one of her knees on the ground. With the palms of her both hands, she touched the ground around her gently, and then she raised her hands abruptly, dragging off the land a powerful energy that seemed to come from the subsoil.

Holding her palms raised, she closed her hands, and all the flow of the amber energy around her condensed into her fists as a red light, like two flames of fire. Her pupils changed their color into a phosphorescent red, and with undistinguished words, she struck her fists against the ground. In the impact, her bright aura emanated a wave of energy full of light and fire that expanded within the area. Pushing away all the barbarians near her.

She then rose, with her fists still full of fire. The beautiful blond sorceress, called her white horse, and went inside the heart of the war. With her right hand, she drew magnetically a lying spear from the barbarians. She saw Argônæth cornered, so she threw the spear with a supernatural force.

This blow crumbled the row of barbarians that cornered The General, and their armor broke into pieces. The woman took the General, in full run, as he climbed agilely over the horse, on the wild ride. The sorceress was leading, and they ran further to the front lines, nearby the lagoons.

In this region, the war was denser, aggressive. And both jumped off the white horse, falling into the enemy; immediately attacking the armed barbarians. Arm to arm, back to back, sword to sword, shield to shield. Both friends led, and fought roughly in battle. The Army of Salvation gathered forces, thanks to the leadership of both.
