29. I need you!

My father went on stage followed by Nathan, Ivan and Silvia, while my mother, our friends and I were right there, in front of us to enjoy the little ceremony with emotion.

They shook hands, at that moment the whole pack felt the energy of the addition of someone powerful, of an Alpha joining their pack.

“I, Nathan Johnson, agree to protect, honor and be loyal to all the people of the Red sky pack. I am honored to be a part of this big family and I am even more so because, someday soon, I will be the Alpha. Thank you all.” Nathan ended his speech and everyone clapped their hands and howled.

Later my father did the same with Ivan and finally with Silvia.

At the end of the ritual the pack had added three new people and they finally felt they were part of a family, after leaving behind them the old pack they were part of in the past.

After the entrance ceremony of the new members of the pack, the time that separated us from the end of year party / prom, passed in the blink of an eye.

Nathan had just returned from his run with Falco, while I was naked in front of the shower door, waiting for the water to get hot.

“Come here”; he pulled me into his arms in front of the mirror, he was always behind me.

I was ready for the party, I wasn’t for what was coming next and Nathan didn’t know it yet.
