The vehicle ended up at Springwood Manor, a private estate, where Caroline had arranged to stay upon her return. 

After Leon got out of the car, he was so curious and wondered where his mother had brought him. 

When Leon walked into the mansion and saw another two boys who looked just like him, he was shocked. Stunned, he stood in the doorway and watched them intently without averting his gaze. 

“Mommy!” Cayson rushed over to greet them. Upon noticing the boy his mother was holding, he asked, “Is he our older brother?” 

“Yes. He is your older brother, Leon Ziegler.” Caroline squatted down and explained to Leon, “Leo, you see, both of them are your brothers. All of you came out of my belly on the same day. You guys are the brothers who share the biggest bond in this world. Let me introduce them to you. He’s Cayson Lewis, your third younger brother, and this is Mayson Lewis, your second younger brother.”

The one, who looked cool, was his second brother, Mayson. The other one, who kept smiling, was his third younger brother, Cayson. 

It was pretty amazing that all three of them looked alike! 

The sudden realization that he had another two brothers pleasantly surprised and disappointed him at the same time. 

He was surprised that he had companions at last, but he was also disappointed that there would be two more people sharing his mother’s love with him. That feeling was awful.

Cayson hugged Leon as though they were close already. He smiled and said, “Hey, Leon, we have finally met you!” 

Leon looked at Mayson again. Cayson said while laughing. “Don’t be bothered by him. He’s not much of a talker.” 

Unexpectedly, Mayson wanted to embarrass his younger brother. He uttered, “Mommy, did you ask me to switch roles with Leon and take his place to attend kindergarten for a day?” 

“That’s right. You’re less talkative, so hurry up and get dressed!” 

Caroline explained to Leon, “Leo, I will let you have a day off so that you can have some fun together with Cayson today and get to know each other well. Let Mayson go to school on your behalf, okay?” 

“It’s better that I don’t have to go to school!” Leon thought.. 

Leon, who hated going to kindergarten, nodded. Then Mayson then took him inside to change clothes. 

Soon, Mayson and Leon came out. They had already swapped clothes with each other, and they looked almost identical. “Mommy, let’s go!” Mayson carried his little bag and walked out the door with a cool expression. 

Caroline instructed, “Cayson, I’ll leave Leon to you now. Make sure you take good care of him!” 

“Don’t worry, Mommy. He’s my brother. I’m sure I’ll have a good time with him!” Cayson put his arm around Leon’s neck while assuring his mother. Leon, who was unaccustomed to being treated with such intimacy, pushed him away. Cayson didn’t mind it and smiled back at him. 

Riley sent them to Eureka Kindergarten. Mayson knew his mission was to experience Leon’s life for a day and to observe who was bullying his brother at school. 

At the gate of the kindergarten, there were many teachers and parents who had seen the news. 

When they saw the protagonist coming at that time, everyone cast strange looks as they pointed at her. 

Caroline squatted down and helped Mayson adjust his clothes. She smiled and uttered, “All the best, my son! I will be here in the afternoon!” 

Mayson raised his cute little face. From now on, he was not going to say a word. 

After dropping Mayson off at the kindergarten, Caroline got into Riley’s car. 

Shortly after, the car stopped downstairs at Lewis Group, and Caroline got out of the vehicle. She took off her sunglasses and looked up at the tall building. 

It was once the Thompson family’s territory, formerly known as the Thompson Group. It had been changed to Lewis Group after being acquired by Harry. 

Caroline’s heart felt a pang of sadness while looking at the familiar building. She still remembered the time when she came to Thompson Group as a child and how she played around while leaning on her grandfather’s broad back at that time. 

Chapter 36 

In a blink of an eye, the days of bliss would never return anymore. 

She put her sunglasses back after a while. She then took in a deep breath, got her act together, and walked straight toward the building with Riley and another two bodyguards following behind her. 

The LED screen on the top of the building displayed the signing ceremony with the internationally renowned designer, Nyx. The entrance of the building was also grandly decorated with countless flower baskets and balloons. 

When Caroline arrived, Yvonne was leading a group of people who were waiting at the entrance. They were busy with the reception and giving orders. “Everybody, pay attention! When Ms. Nyx arrives, remember to show your welcoming smile! You have to cheer for her loudly! Copy that?” 

“Yes!” the staff answered together in unison. Their voices were indeed loud enough. 

Someone asked upon seeing Caroline approaching. “Is that woman in sunglasses Nyx?” 

Everyone looked at the woman curiously, including Yvonne. Her face suddenly darkened when she saw it was Caroline. 

“What Nyx? Is this bitch trying to ruin the signing ceremony today? I can’t let her do that!” she thought. 

Yvonne directly stopped Caroline in her tracks and said, “Caroline, what are you doing here?” 

Caroline looked dapper and dashing in a loose black suit. 

She glanced at Yvonne through her sunglasses and said coldly, “This is Lewis Group. I belong to the Lewis residence. Why can’t I come?” 

“Don’t you dare mess this up! You’ve screwed up my mother’s birthday party, and now you want to ruin this?” Yvonne uttered bitterly. 

“What? Are you going to stop me from entering? I’m here to work in Lewis Group. It’s none of your business.” Caroline had a cool aura. Besides, she was half a head taller than Yvonne, who had taken the latter down a peg. 

“Caroline, the company is not a place for you to have fun. You need to get permission at least from Dad and Seth. Besides, even if you want to work in the company, you must first submit your resume. Lewis Group is a large enterprise that works based on a regular system. You can’t just come in by connection. What you require are real capability and a certificate. Do you have any of those?” 

Yvonne had the audacity to say that because Caroline didn’t even finish college as something happened to the latter. Now, there was no way Caroline could work in Lewis Group without a degree certificate. 

The staff behind Yvonne started pointing at Caroline while whispering. They identified Caroline as the woman who was reported beating up someone on the news. 

“That’s her. She beat up people in public.” 

“That really made her the one of a kind.” 

Hearing the crowd gossiping. Yvonne looked pleased and lifted her chin as she spoke. “Also, Caroline, the incident of you beating someone up was all over the news yesterday. Dad was pissed when he saw it, and now every netizen is rebuking you. Don’t you feel ashamed to work at Lewis Group? Do you know what everyone is calling you on the internet these days? They call you a femme fatale and a violent vixen! If I were you, I’d find a place to hide before becoming a person hated by 

everyone.” 

Before Yvonne could finish speaking, Caroline raised her hand and slapped her hard. 

Slap! 

The crisp and loud slapping sound was heard in the public area. 

Yvonne was stunned, and the rest of the staff looked at Caroline in horror.
