Chapter 23: Enchantreia Vs Drazona

[Leena]

Everyone is ready for the coming war. All the palace knights lined up together with other magic users. Other students who weren’t allowed to join the fight were evacuated to safer areas. They also evacuated the citizens who couldn't fight for their lives.

Alyssa and I, together with the other students, are getting ready as well.

Then a vision flashed in my head.

Thousands of Drazonian armies and monsters were marching in the desert, coming towards the Enchantreia Kingdom in more or less an hour.

"Guys, they're coming..." I said to my friends using telepathy.

I teleported to a hill that overlooked the entire Enchantreia. On the east side, I saw a multitude of Drazonian armies and monsters heading towards the boundary of Enchantreia. They move so fast.

Then a horn sounded loud. A warning that indicates a war is happening soon.

There are thousands of them, and they double the size of the armies in Enchantreia. If you look at it, Enchantreia will most likely lose the battle because the enemy outnumbered them. This is a bad vision. Because the monsters look stronger and a tough opponent for all ordinary magic users.

‘Get ready...’ I talk to others using telepathy and sighed. This is going to be a long day for us.

‘Grandma, please guide me in the upcoming battle...’

I teleported to where the group was. They are on the front line, with the armies behind them.

"I'm nervous..." Alyssa exclaimed.

"Just be brave," I told them.

"Guys, I love you. If I were to die today, I’m happy I met you and became my friend..." Venice said and we looked at her with a frown.

"Don’t say that, Ven. No one will die, okay? Please don't get killed. Promise me, all of you..." I said and looked at them one by one and they nodded hesitantly. I sighed.

The knights from the palace, including the king, came and joined us.

Suddenly, darkness quickly scattered, and the moon turned bloody dark.

A few minutes later, something exploded at a distance. The enemies are here. Monsters are everywhere now and their faces are disgusting. They look at us hungrily, saliva dripping out of its mouth, and refrain from attacking us as long as their leader says nothing.

"Well, well, well, I didn't know you were preparing for this fight. I thought you were going to be surprised, but it looks like you surprise us." said the man in the black clothing with an intimidating dark aura surrounding him and he looked about our age. He seems scary as hell. Damn!

He immediately turned his gaze to me and grinned. My forehead creased in confusion.

"Long time no see, Ivan..." uttered an older man even scarier than the man beside him.

The King gritted his teeth, clearly annoyed by the man.

"What is this all about, Ramon?" the King said, glaring daggers at the enemy.

The man named King Ramon grinned devilishly. "I want to rule this world, Ivan, and no one can stop me! Bwahahaha, you will all die tonight!" he said and laughed menacingly together with his minions and monsters.

"We won't let that happen, Ramon. We will fight you even at the cost of our lives!" the King also yelled and in a flash, the battle began.

I killed every monster that came my way without a sweat. I have the power of destruction so I can easily defeat them.

A man named Ezekiel was facing me, smiling from ear to ear.

"We meet again, young lady..." I frowned, ignoring him and setting him on fire, which he swiftly avoided.

"Woah, easy there! You know you're still beautiful even though you're so hot-headed. But you'll be mine, eventually. Bwahahaha," he said and laughed devilishly. In his dreams!

"You wish!"

I attacked him again with fire and he countered my red flame with his dark fire, causing it to explode and create a dark cloud of smoke.

I dodge his punch when he shows up in front of me, grinning. My face scrunched up.

We exchanged blows and attacks as fast as lightning.

But in the middle of our fight, it surprised me when Ereia suddenly cried out. I saw she had a wound on her right arm. Sh*t! But she still fought, even though it was hard for her.

I smiled when someone came. The fairies! They were in armored suits and the healer fairies quickly approached the wounded and treated them. Upon the arrival of the fairies, everyone looks thrilled.

"Why are you doing this?" I asked the man and his face changed to a scary expression.

"To take revenge," he said loudly and hit me with a blow that I swiftly avoided. A few times, he managed to hit me with a blow, but I returned the blow with the same force.

"Why?" I asked as we were still exchanging attacks.

He smirked and looked coldly at me.

"You don't have to know. But we will get you no matter what it takes." My forehead furrowed in confusion.

"What do you need from me?" I wondered why they wanted to take me.

He grinned. "Your power. We need your power."

I smirked and burst into a pit of laughter. That's pathetic.

"You don't need it. I swear. It will only cause you trouble." I smirked.

His forehead furrowed. "What do you mean?"

I just smirked and attacked him with my fire. We exchanged attacks until he vanished and I suddenly couldn't move. Sh*t! He controls my shadow!

"Now, tell me why we don't need your power?" he asked in a deep voice, and I tried to resist his control over my shadow.

"It will destroy you and this world," I said nonchalantly and calmed down. I closed my eyes and used the power that I hid for so long.

As I fluttered my eyes, my vision turned crimson red. I easily get out of his control. He receded when I suddenly glowed bright red.

Everyone was surprised when a powerful red aura glowed brightly in the dark. The fighting stopped for a while and they were almost blinded by the light.

The monsters growled and gradually turned to ashes.

"Nooo!" cry of the leader of the Drazona, King Ramon. He couldn’t believe that a simple light alone turned his monster armies into ashes.

As the light slowly faded, everyone stared at a girl with black wings, silvery-red eyes, and a mixture of the red and black armored dress. Her hair also turned red. Everyone felt goosebumps and trembled while staring at a frightening being. They can barely breathe because of the overflowing energy.

Prince Ezekiel was stunned as he looked at the girl who had just transformed. He could not believe what he witnessed.

‘What kind of creature is this?’ he thought in awe.

Leena flew upward and everyone can see her now.

"L-Leena..." Alyssa couldn't believe it. She did not expect Leena to transform.

The group was also surprised and smiled while being nostalgic. If Luna has white wings, Leena has the opposite because she has black wings.

She's like a dark angel.

When the King of the Drazona saw Leena’s transformation, he suddenly released powerful energy as well. Gradually, his form changed and suddenly grew bigger. What was even more surprising was that his appearance turned into a monster while glaring daggers at Leena. Seeing his father transformed, Ezekiel also transformed into a monster.

Leena looked at the two monsters without emotion.

Then a real war begins.

The three powerful beings clashed with each other with a powerful attack that sends a strong vibration to the entire world. Their speed is so fast. Alesia decided to help Leena and faced the monster, Ezekiel.

The rest of the group is also fighting for their lives. Alyssa removed her shades, and the demons who looked into her eyes turned to stone. Alyssa was unaware of the danger approaching her. Three flaming arrows hit her back, causing her to halt and feel the striking pain. She faintly fell to the ground as she uttered Leena's name.

"Leena..." she said as blood oozes out of her mouth.

"Alyssa!" Leemin was horrified to see Alyssa stabbed in the back by three arrows.

Leena saw what happened to her friend, who was lying on the ground on the verge of dying and was utterly stunned.

However, everyone did not expect many arrows with fire to shower toward them, causing some of the magic users to die.

Leena immediately flew closer to her crying friends and over to Alyssa.

"Alyssa!" she cried, and Alyssa smiled faintly when she saw Leena's face.

"L-Leena..." she touched Leena's cheek.

"Please, don't die. I promise to help you. Marga needs you. We need you. Please..." she cried, and Alyssa shook her head while catching her breath.

"I… love you, Leena... always will… Please save them..." Leena shook her head and wept.

"No. no. No! You can't die, Alyssa. You just can't die!" Leena panicked even more and their friends burst into tears.

As Alyssa slowly closed her eyes, they heard a deafening scream from Leena, causing them to cover their ears and grunt. The sound was horrible and almost ruined their eardrums. Her screams echoed and sent vibrations throughout the earth, causing the ground to shake tremendously.

Anger enveloped Leena, and now she was blazing with fire. Everyone was terrified of what they saw.

Now Leena has no control over her body. And her anger is now out of control. Everything in the surroundings that Leena saw fell apart, and the trees died miserably. Everything is chaotic. She kills every living being she sees.

The others couldn't do anything because Leena didn't even know them anymore. They don't know what to do and they run away to safety with Alyssa's body.

Leena is so scary now and even the leader of the Drazona also feels terrified as well as Ezekiel. He remembered what the girl had told him, that her power would destroy the entire world.

Meanwhile, in the world of Laikan where Luna is, feels the danger.

She was frightened when she saw in her vision a creature that was so furious and had no self-control—none other than her twin sister.

"Luna? Are you okay? You're sweating!" Princess Catherine said anxiously when she noticed Luna's anxiety.

"My twin sister is in danger. She needs me. She needs to calm down before it's too late..." Luna said nervously.

Claire heard her, so she approached Luna with a worried expression.

"Does that mean you're leaving, Luna?" she said sadly and Luna nodded.

"I don't have time. I need to get there right now!" Luna said anxiously. "Claire, I hope you understand I need to go back to where I came from. My twin sister needs me. I am happy that I helped you find your real family. I hope you take care of yourself and I know you will be a good leader one day. You're a wonderful friend and like a sister to me, Claire. And I will miss you so much. We will meet again, Claire. I promise." Luna spoke passionately and Claire nodded in tears. She knew she had no right to stop her, so she hugged her friend tightly before leaving.

"Cathy, I will miss you, too. Always be careful." Luna smiled at the emotional Princess Catherine. Burst into tears, she approached Luna and hugged her tightly like there was no tomorrow.

"I will miss you so much, Luna. Please be safe wherever you are going. I know it's too soon, but I want you to know that I love you, Luna..." Princess Catherine uttered wholeheartedly. Luna just smiled, even though she was surprised.

"Thank you, Cathy." Luna pulled away from the hug and placed her palms on Catherine's chest. "Please stop loving me. I don't want to hurt you. You can find someone else better than me and worth your love. I don’t deserve your love.... but I'm still thankful you love me.”

She said and gave Cathy a sincere smile.

Princess Catherine nodded as she cried. Her love was rejected, but she could understand that not everyone can reciprocate her kind of love. Meanwhile, Claire was shocked when her sister confessed to Luna. And Claire was even more surprised when Catherine suddenly kissed Luna on the lips. Luna was also surprised, but she just let her because for her it was just a friendly goodbye kiss.

"Goodbye, Claire, Cathy. We will meet again soon..." Luna bid goodbye and, for one last time, they hugged each other.

Luna cast a portal and waved a hand to the siblings before the portal swallowed her.

Luna thought of her twin sister, and hopefully, the portal would take her to where Leena was. She is nervous about the possibility of her twin losing control of herself.

“Please be safe, Leena...” Luna whispered. As she took in her surroundings, she felt a familiar air, but the smell of smoke assaulted her nostrils.

The Enchantreia World. She is back in Enchantreia.

But she was surprised at what she saw. Everything in Enchantreia is chaotic and destroyed. Her heart was beating faster because she knew exactly who did this.

When she looked up, she gasped to see her twins exchanging attacks with a monster.

When Luna saw a monster attacking Leena's back, Luna immediately teleported in front of the monster and repulsed its attack. The monster was baffled and backed away upon seeing her.

Luna glanced at the lifeless magic users below and couldn’t help but be saddened. She sighed and saw her former friends in the distance while surrounding a wounded girl as the healer fairies continued to treat her. Luna felt terrible upon seeing some fairies also die in the battle.

Ereia and the others were surprised and felt hopeful when they saw Luna.

Luna turned her gaze to her twin sister, who overthrew the monster to the ground, but it was still alive.

"Leena!" she shouted, but Leena didn't even hear her. Leena has no control over her emotions. What happens to her?

"You look alike?" said the monster in disbelief. Luna gave the monster a murderous look.

"What did you do to my twin?!" Luna uttered but emotionless. Her voice sends goosebumps to everyone and Ezekiel feels a sudden fear again.

Prince Ezekiel cried out in pain when Luna suddenly shone brightly, causing Ezekiel and his father, King Roman, to weaken.

The weakness of dark magic users is light magic, so they immediately moved away from Luna in fear.

Luna spread her angel wings. She looks like a goddess who came down from heaven. She looks radiant.

Luna approached the stunned Leena. Now the two of them face each other while no words come out of their mouths.

"Luna..." Leena said and her voice slowly cracked.

"Leena..." Luna uttered and smiled gently, which calmed Leena down.

The two embraced, and it created a dazzling light again. White and red light mixed with dark energy scattered throughout the place.

Unbeknownst to the twins, their bodies became one. And now everyone was dumbfounded, and mouths hung in awe.
