Chapter 24: Missing Part 1

Shock and amazement plastered on everyone's faces at what they witnessed.

When the twins hugged, they didn’t notice the fusion of their bodies. But as the light subsided, a strange creature magnificently stunned everyone and was mesmerized by the beauty, but at the same time felt goosebumps. The magnetic beauty has white and red long hair, wings in white and black, wearing an armored goddess dress in white and black patterned with ruby red, and has a jaw-dropping pair of distinct eyes–with silvery-gray specs on the right and silvery-red specs on the left.

Everything about her screams danger.

Seeing her feels like grasping into thin lines, sending you to your death. Her powerful aura weakens everyone and suffocates them. The two monsters, King Ramon and Prince Ezekiel swallowed and trembled as fear slowly crept into their soul when they met her dangerous gaze.

“Your death,” the voice is as cold as mountainous ice that sends shivers through them. A never-ending fear took over their entire being, unable to process the words. The word ‘death’ echoed in their minds, replaying repeatedly.

They moved backward, trying to retreat as soon as possible, but halted when the magnetic beauty disappeared out of their sight. However, before they could react, it appeared in front of them and at the same time surprised them with a powerful kick, causing them to fly away and shock them to the core. They haven’t recovered yet from the shock when they were attacked again, blow after blow, and unable to fight back like a powerless worm.

King Ramon and Prince Ezekiel could not move even a finger because of injuries sustained from the powerful attack. They are at their wit's end and as much as they want to escape; they have no strength left–no powers, too. For some reason, they couldn’t use their ability and their bodies were paralyzed.

"We, the Princesses of Moondrous World, granddaughters of the Goddess of the Moon and Hunt, Artemis, also called Luna, please bring these two dark magic users, King Roman and Prince Ezekiel, into the underworld where sinners repent of their sins forever. They took many innocent lives and led a war that sent the world into chaos. As the power bestowed on us, I called thy light and darkness and brought these two evil souls into the world of torment."

The two monsters, King Roman and Prince Ezekiel screamed at the top of their lungs when they felt a burning sensation in their body like it set their souls on fire and tore them into tiny pieces. They return to their normal form before the light and darkness finally swallow them to where they belong.

When the light subsided, the joined bodies of Luna and Leena pulled apart. Their bodies landed on the ground, unconscious. Suddenly, the moon returned to normal and now glowing brightly and illuminating the entire Enchantreia. A wrecked world caused by war saddened everyone as they scanned their surroundings.

Nevertheless, everyone cheered with joy when the battle was finally over, and they won. The villains failed to completely destroy their beloved kingdom.

Alesia and the others rushed towards the unconscious body of the twins.

"Luna! Leena!" they shouted and Alesia immediately hugged Luna's body with tears streaming down her face nonstop.

They tried to wake the twins, but to no avail, which worried them so much.

Gradually, their appearance returned to normal, and they stared mesmerizingly at the twins because they really looked the same. At the same time, a sudden nervousness assaulted them and they couldn’t decipher the meaning.

But suddenly the bodies of the twins floated in the air and shone brightly. They shut their eyes closed as they were almost blinded by the light. As soon as the light subsided, amazement flashed in their eyes when all the damage suddenly returned to normal, like they weren't ruined at all. They also felt so light and burst of energy as they’d never used so much energy just a while ago. And much to their surprise and delight, all who died in the war came back to life.

Even Alyssa’s wounds healed and suddenly lit up which surprised the others. Ereia and the others immediately approached Alyssa's body as the light subsided. They were dumbfounded to see that there were no snakes on Alyssa’s head anymore and were replaced with shiny, long, black hair. She was so pretty. They smiled at what they saw. But their eyes widened in shock when Alyssa’s body slowly vanished. They just stood in complete silence and bewildered.

"What's going on?! Where is she?!" they all panicked at the sudden disappearance of Alyssa's body and couldn’t help but weep. They couldn’t believe that when Alyssa’s curse disappeared, she also vanished.

Their gaze shifted to the bodies of the twins and was surprised to see that their bodies shine even brighter. Completely astonished, they just stared and didn't know what to do at the moment. They felt lost and nervous. As the moon directly glow brightly on the twins’ bodies, they gasped and were baffled at the scene before their eyes. They couldn’t move their bodies because they were shocked and panicked when the glow of the moon slowly absorbed the twins' unconscious bodies. Then they disappeared like burst bubbles.

The wind blows coldly in the night. Just like that, everything that happened is just like the wildest dream. Like the war never happened at all. The night seems so peaceful. Two powerful princesses just sacrifice themselves to save their world that is almost ruined. Their hearts were touched and tears flowed down their faces freely in so much respect and gratitude to the savior of their world. Their life would be forever indebted to the twins.

After some time, everyone celebrates the winning of the war. They immediately build a statue of the two princesses as a commemoration for saving their world under the command of the King of the Enchantreia Kingdom. They decided to build a statue so that they would remember their heroism and that in every hardship and despair, there were still rays of hope. The goodness and bravery of the two princesses who came from another world are imprinted in their hearts and minds forever. Because without them, they already disappeared from the world, especially to those who were revived.

While everyone was rejoicing, Alesia and the rest of the group collapsed. Three of their friends just disappear like bubbles and they miss them as the day passes by. Especially Alesia, who isolated herself in her room because of grief. She couldn’t even have a chance to say goodbye to the person she loved so much, even if the kind of love she had for her wasn’t reciprocated the same way. She did nothing but cry her agony.

But she hopes one day they will meet again.

In the Moondrous World, everything turned upside down. Everything in the world seems lifeless. With the loss of their princesses, the entire world became seemingly haunted. All the plants and trees died and the entire Moondrous became deserted and dark. It looks so sad and creepy.

The King and Queen admitted to all the people that the Queen gave birth to twins. And one became invisible from birth. The truth baffled everyone and couldn’t believe it. However, they also understood that most likely the two missing princesses were the treasure of their world. Without them, their world would be forever in ruins and deserted.

And they have to find their princess because only Luna can bring back their former happy and prosperous world. They don’t know what happened to the twins because this happening in their world is a bad omen for the future.

In the Faraway Kingdom, the King and Queen were staring sadly into space, lost in deep thoughts. They miss the twins that have been missing for a long time. They instructed a search party to look for the twins in different dimensions. Joaquin Patterson, a magic user who hails from the town of Aguadilla, was the first to accept the mission. He was the strongest in town, so they appointed him to look for the two princesses. However, Joaquin searched everywhere in different dimensions, still to no avail.
