Chapter 38: Reunion Part 3

Two weeks passed by quickly. Within these two weeks, we have been to many beautiful places only seen in Laikan World. The memory we shared is priceless and I will cherish those memories for the rest of my life.

As usual, I find myself in the garden, my favorite part of the academy. And again I wouldn’t get tired of watching the moon.

Suddenly, Bryle sat next to me with a smile.

"Hey," he greeted.

"Hi," I smiled at him. I scanned his handsome face with a satisfied look. His presence was enough to make me feel like I’m on cloud nine.

He said teasingly, and I pouted my lips. And then we burst into laughter. Hahaha, the childish things I do to him.

With a smile, I went to my room and prepared to sleep. I immediately fell asleep with a smile on my lips.

The next morning.

"Is everyone here?" Leena called out and looked at the entire squad.

"Yes!" everyone answers inexplicably excited for the next adventure.

With a smile, I immediately summoned a portal, and one by one they entered with excitement. When we came out of the portal and stepped onto the ground, I immediately smiled as I saw the familiar town in the world of Majika again. How long has it been since I stumbled here back then? A lot has changed in the place and the formerly quiet place is filled with noises already and I notice the people looked happy.

Wow, there are more houses now than before. The entire streets are so lively. Was there an event?

Suddenly, the people stopped what they were doing and looked at us strangely. People were stunned as they looked at us quizzically. They were whispering at each other and suddenly their eyes widened when they recognized me.

I smiled at them and waved my hands. They immediately got excited and smiled widely.

"Compatriots! Luna is back!" a man shouted. And everyone quickly gathered with excitement as they welcomed us.

"How’s everyone doing?!" I greeted them with a warm smile and I got different responses, all optimistic.

“Kid!”

"Luna?!" I heard two familiar voices calling me at a distance. My face lit up and gave the two people a wide smile.

"Grandma Mela! Uncle Berting!" They looked so glad to see me. Grandma Mela pulled me into a tight hug the moment she approached and I hugged her back while chuckling.

Afterward, I introduced the entire squad to everyone. They welcome us all warmly. And the people were stunned and at the same time happy when they found out that I have a twin. They keep giving us compliments that flattered Leena and me.

We looked up at the sky when we heard a clattering of wings. A creature landed not far from us. I smiled when I recognized who it was.

"ARMANI! MIRAI!" I called out excitedly and Mirai's eyes widened when she saw me. She rubbed her eyes with an incredulous expression.

"Luna?! Sister Lunaaaa!" She rushed toward me and hugged me tightly. "Waah, sister! I miss you so much! Huhuhu,"

Mirai squeezed my face, making me giggle. "I'm not dreaming, sister? Are you really here in front of me?" she uttered in awe and slapped her own face. In the end, she grunted in pain. Silly, Mirai.

I couldn’t help but laugh. "I’m real, Mirai. Didn't I tell you I was going to visit as soon as I could?" she nodded and hugged me again with excitement.

Afterward, I approached Armani and greeted him. I laughed when he said that Mirai always bugged him and annoyed him all the time, almost taking all his patience. Hahaha, Mirai is really playful and naughty.

"Sister, watch out!" I heard Mirai yell and when I turned around, a huge creature was running towards me at a fast speed. My eyes widened when I recognized the creature.

And before I could compose myself, Regit pounced on me excitedly and we fell to the ground. I laughed as he licked my entire face. Someone misses me, no? I get up and caress his fur warmly. Then Regit suddenly shrank and charged at me which made me laugh. He really enjoys being in my arms, and I guess it’s what he misses the most.

When I look at the squad, they are all smiling and their eyes twinkle while looking at Regit.

"Aw, he's so cute!" Leena said happily as she looked at Regit. I introduced the entire squad to Mirai, Armani, and Regit.

"You were way too many! I can't remember you one by one!" Mirai groaned and her eyebrows furrowed together. Mirai's complaint made everyone laugh.

Regit looked excited when he saw Leena so he also jumped on Leena’s arms comfortably. Regit still took glances at Leena and me back and forth as if he still couldn't believe that we were twins.
