Chapter 16 

There was an auto repair shop in the western suburbs. 

At night, after putting his six–year–old daughter to sleep, Maverick Wagner sat alone by the door, gazing at the starry sky, lost in thought. 

“Wild Wolf.” 

Suddenly, a shout pierced the silent night sky. 

Maverick heard the sound and was immediately shocked! 

He couldn’t believe that someone could actually approach him silently. 

‘If the other party intended to harm me… 

Wait a minute! The person actually shouted my code name, and this voice was so familiar! 

Maverick looked towards the pagoda tree in the courtyard, and a dark figure stood under it, with a cigarette in their mouth! 

“Boss, is it really you?” Maverick’s voice was trembling a bit. 

A dark figure emerged from under the tree, and under the moonlight, a handsome face was revealed. It was none other than Magnus!

Maverick waved his hand, “Follow me.” 

Magnus followed him to an abandoned house. 

Maverick lifted a tattered bed board, revealing a deep pit hidden beneath it. 

There were long ones and short ones, a total of more than ten. 

Magnus smiled contentedly. 

“It’s time to do something good for the Clusians, Four Oceans Gang, you’re out tonight!” 

At the southeast region dock, one of the two enforcers of the Four Oceans Gang, Raven, showed up there with around twenty lackeys. 

“Lord Raven, you’re so naughty.” 

Raven sat in an armchair, holding a heavily made–up woman in his arms. 

“Bitch, don’t you just like it when I am bad?” Raven chuckled lewdly. 

“Lord Raven, I hate you!” The lady’s delicate voice made one feel tingly all over. 

At that moment, a lackey approached Raven and respectfully said, “Lord Raven, the goods are almost here!” 

As Raven heard this, the smile on his face disappeared completely, and his expression became solemn. “Tell our men to get ready to receive the goods, and be alert,” he said. 

“Yes!” That lackey began calling out to his companions. 

“Lord Raven, I’m hungry. How about we go eat barbecue?” the lady said. 

Slap!

Meanwhile, a medium freighter gradually approached the shore.

“Hello, dear Raven, it’s so nice to see you again.“. 

A dark–skinned man, accompanied by about ten lackeys, walked off the freighter. 

Raven laughed and said, “Come on, Barry, we can just skip the formalities!” 

While talking, the two people shared a hug, and it seemed like they had a good relationship. 

“Alright, let’s focus on the important matter.” 

Raven said, handing over the two large suitcases in his hands, “You check them.” 

Barry handed the suitcase to the lackey beside him and laughed, “No need for that. It’s not like it’s our first time working together!” 

After speaking, they waved their hand. Someone immediately came down from the freighter carrying a leather suitcase, 

Baven took the suitcase from the other person, opened it to take a look, and smiled with satisfaction. 

“I’ll be going now. Come visit me when you have time,” Barry suggested as he said goodbye. 

“Yeah, of course. I really liked the women from your place.”

Chapter 16 

Raven said and once again embraced Barry. 

Just as the two of them were parting ways. Suddenly, a gunshot rang out. 

Raven was seen lying on the ground with a bloody hole in the center of his forehead. 

“What the heck? They set a trap for us! Guys, hurry up and grab your weapons!” a man shouted from within the crowd. 

The members of the Four Oceans Garig quickly became alert and showed their weapons one after another. 

Barry’s expression changed suddenly, as he backed away towards the freighter and explained, “It wasn’t us. You’ve got it wrong!” 

“Guys, take them down! Avenge Lord Raven!” the man shouted again, leading the charge as he fired at Barry and his group. 

Bang! Bang! Bang! 

The twenty or so lackeys of the Four Oceans Gang responded to the call and immediately launched a fierce attack on Barry’s group. 

“Damn, a bunch of idiots!” 

Barry was shot in the abdomen and, cursing, he escaped towards the freighter. 

And his subordinate also launched a counterattack. 

In just a short moment, several corpses were added to the ground. 

At that moment, the man who had previously blended into the crowd quietly retreated to a corner. He tore off a human skin mask from his face, revealing a handsome visage.
