The next morning, Magnus drove to the Thompson residence.
Martin was sitting in the yard, lost in thought while holding a cup of coffee, completely oblivious to Magnus‘ arrival.
“Mr. Thompson!” Magnus called out, trying to get Martin’s attention.
Despite Martin’s past ladder–kicking behavior that had left him quite dissatisfied, he reminded himself that he was after all still Kristin’s father.
He still needed to have some tolerance.
When Martin saw it was Magnus, he immediately put on a smile. “Magnus, you’re here. Are you here to pick up Kristin? Have you had breakfast yet…” He seemed unusually enthusiastic.
“I’ve already eaten,” Magnus replied.
“Magnus, you came at the perfect time. I have something to discuss with you,” Martin said seriously,
“Please go ahead, Mr. Thompson,” Magnus said with some curiosity.
Martin apologized. “It was my fault for what happened before, and I sincerely apologize to you. Please don’t let my actions affect your relationship with
Kristin.”
“It was a minor issue, Mr. Thompson. There’s no need to worry about it,” Magnus said indifferently.
Upon hearing that, Martin secretly breathed a sigh of relief and said, “That’s good, that’s good.”
Then, changing the subject abruptly, he continued, “There’s something else I want to remind you of… Did you cripple Nestor’s son?”
“Yes, I did,” Magnus admitted openly.
Martin sighed worriedly and said, “You’re too impulsive. The Zinn family has been deeply entrenched in Yiefmery for decades, with an incredibly vast network. Moreover, they have been secretly colluding with the Four Oceans Gang!”
Magnus laughed and reassured him, “Mr. Thompson, there’s no need to worry. I’ll handle it myself.”
Martin said seriously, “What are you talking about? You are my future son–in–law, so your affairs are the Thompson family’s affairs. Don’t worry, I will personally talk to Nestor about this later.”
He had made up his mind then. He couldn’t let Magnus, his ideal son–in–law, slip away anymore.
Hearing Martin refer to him as the former’s son–in–law, Magnus let out a bitter smile.
Just then, Kristin, dressed in a white floral dress, walked out. She wasn’t surprised to see Magnus and said indifferently, “Let’s go.”
Magnus nodded.
Vroom!
The distant sound of an engine whirred, and soon a red Lamborghini pulled up at the entrance of the Thompson residence.
The car door swung open. A woman dressed in a red mesh dress with red high heels and delicate makeup got out of the car.
The moment they saw the comer, both Martin and Kristin’s expressions changed simultaneously.
Curious, Magnus asked, “Who is this?”
“That’s Yelena Faraday, daughter of Xavier Faraday, the chairman of Four Oceans Group. Four Oceans Group is the legitimate business front for Four Oceans Gang,” Kristin explained.
“Good morning, Mr. Thompson.”
Yelena greeted Martin and entered uninvited. Her gaze unintentionally fell upon Magnus. “Oh, I didn’t expect to find a handsome man here,” she remarked.
Shen then turned her attention toward Kristin. “A newly acquired sugar baby?”
“You…” Kristin’s face flushed with anger, but she managed to restrain herself.
“Ms. Faraday, what brings you to the Thompson residence?” Martin had a bad feeling.
Yelena laughed and replied, “I’m here to deliver a message from my father to you all.”
Martin frowned and asked, “Just say what’s on your mind.”
“Alright, then I won’t beat around the bush either.”
Yelena spoke clearly and concisely. “You have three days to hand over 60% of Hovalt Group’s equity.”
“What did you say?” Kristin glared angrily.
She never expected that the people from Four Oceans Group would have the audacity to openly come to her doorstep and extort equity from her. It

was simply outrageous!
Yelena sneered and continued, “Ah… I haven’t finished yet. You must also hand over Magnus Kramer, or else don’t blame us for being impolite.”
“You must be dreaming!” Kristin shouted angrily.
She would rather die than compromise with Four Oceans Group.

Suddenly, the sound of shattering glass echoed through the air.
Kristin turned towards the noise and saw that Magnus had stealthily made his way outside the mansion at some point, holding a handful of stones in his hand, and was furiously smashing them against Yelena’s sports car.
“My car!” Yelena exclaimed.
Yelena saw her beloved car being smashed and her expression immediately turned cold as she confronted Magnus. “You jerk, how dare you smash my
car!”
As she spoke, she walked towards the outside and simultaneously pulled out a handgun, aiming it directly at Magnus before pulling the trigger.
“Be careful!” Kristin cried out, her face turning pale with fear.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Yelena fired three shots in a row.
In a swift motion, Magnus dodged the bullets effortlessly.
He wasted no time and immediately rushed to Yelena with a few quick strides. Before she could react, she felt a sudden pain in her wrist.
The handgun slipped out of her hand in an instant.
Magnus‘ gaze was icy cold, revealing a murderous intent. With a powerful kick, he sent Yelena flying several feet away.
“Ah…” Yelena cried out in pain, her body sprawled on the ground, suffering from at least two broken ribs.
Magnus walked up to Yelena and stepped on her face. “Bitch, I am Magnus. Go back and tell your father that he can come after me. Bring it on…”
Yelena’s eyes were filled with terror.
She couldn’t believe that someone dared to lay a hand on her in Yiefmery and cursed inwardly.
“Was this guy not afraid of dying?“,
Despite enduring the pain, Yelena got into the car dejectedly.
Once the car engine roared to life, she stuck her head out and declared, “Just you wait!”
After saying some harsh words, she swiftly stepped on the gas pedal all the way!
She was also afraid that Magnus would catch up.
Martin and Kristin were shocked for quite a while before they gradually came to their senses.
“Magnus, you’re too impulsive!” Martin sighed helplessly.
However, Magnus paid no attention and sneered, “It’s not about them not letting me go now. It’s about me not letting them go.”
With that, he called out to Kristin, “Let’s go.”
“Great!” Kristin followed closely behind.
The car started and as–Magnus drove, he asked, “Will there be any issues with taking over Four Oceans Group?”
Kristin hesitated for a moment and replied, “Although Four Oceans Group is not as powerful as our Hovalt Group, with our current strength, we can’t possibly take them over.”
“I can offer you help,” Magnus said nonchalantly.
It seemed as if taking over Four Oceans Group was just a trivial matter for him.
“What kind of assistance can you provide?” Kristin inquired.
“Whatever is needed, I’ll provide it!” Magnus said assertively.
Kristin pondered for a moment and said, “As long as there is enough funding, I am confident in taking over Four Oceans Group.”
“How much is needed?” Magnus asked.
“150 million!” Kristin responded.
“No problem.” Magnus readily agreed, gripping the steering wheel with one hand while taking out his phone to make a call with the other.

“Lucifer here. Transfer 150 million to the same card number as last time,” Magnus ordered directly.
“That account is a personal account, and such a large sum of money can’t be transferred all at once,” he continued.
Kristin heard their conversation clearly and immediately reminded them. “You can transfer it to our company’s account.“
“Give me the account number,” Magnus responded.
“Alright.”
A moment later, Kristin received a call from the company’s finance department, saying they had received a transfer of 150 million.
That wasn’t the main point. The main point was that it wasn’t 150 million Clusian money, but 150 million dollars!
Kristin was immediately thrown into disarray…
